Lu Xun 2,069 Posted June 12, 2012 The Prophecy Introduction In a different world from ours, a war took place. The prince of that world fought against his younger brother, who desperately tried to take over the throne, but failed during his attempt of killing his brother. As soon as he noticed what his younger brother tried to do, he claimed that he was a traitor, and started a war. However, Nuret, which was his younger brother’s name, wasn’t a fool. Before trying to kill Hytlin, he managed to convince a lot of members of the royal family to join him, claiming that his brother wasn’t worth of the throne, and that he would only bring ruin to their world. The war did not meet its end quickly, because both forces were had equal powers. So, in order to prevent his younger brother from ever taking his rightful place in the line of the throne, Hytlin summoned his best friend, Jassy, a twenty-years old girl, and told her a prophecy that involved a person from our world. According to the prophecy, if at least three of the twelve chosen people from the other world were able to arrive in their world, and combine their characteristics with one of the brother’s power, than nothing could stand in their way, and peace would once again rule in their world. Hytlin used his magical powers to open a portal to our world, and Jassy swore she would bring these ‘chosen ones’ to save their world. He gave her some special items, which gave her some supernatural powers, and also let her open a portal like that one he used anytime she desired. The mission was given, and Jassy successfully landed on a big city, completely different from what she was used to witness in her world. There were no castles, and the technology from our world was completely different from the one from her world -- it was more advanced, and though what she could see seemed not to be able to bring harm, it was impressive. “There must be one of these chosen ones around here... But, hey, how will I ever find them?” Worried, Jassy thought this to herself. “I guess I’ll find somewhere to stay for a while....” she said as she spotted an enormous building, which had the word ‘HOTEL’ written on it. Jassy then decided to enter in that place, to find out if she could stay there. Then, she was told that it was needed $150,00 to stay a day there. Confused, she wondered what that was, and then she picked up a special item that Hytlin had given to her -- it was capable of making these money used by the people of this world. She went to her room, and slept until the next day. In her dreams, she saw Hytlin’s face, asking for her help, and then, suddenly, his face disappeared and a new face showed up; it was a boy’s face, who had black hair, and blue eyes, which resembled the clean water of the ocean. Surely, this boy was one of the twelve chosen ones, so it was her duty to find him. Meanwhile, Nuret found out about the prophecy. One of his spies managed to sneak into Hytlin’s room, and watched as he talked to Jassy about these twelve chosen ones, and that it was possible to annihilate the other side if at least three of them came to this world, and together with his power, bring an end to the war, and victory to their side. “Is that so? Interesting.... Very interesting... Well, that’ll do just fine... I’ll have you to get these three people for me... Do it by force, if it is needed... I don’t care... All I want is to kill that idiot, and become the king...” Nuret said this with an evil tone, and started laughing. “But how will I get to that other world?” the spy asked. “I’ll open a path for you... Also, take this bag with you... It has everything you’ll need in this journey... Lastly, I want you to kill that Jassy and bring her body to me.... hahahaha... Then I’ll show it to that idiot, and burn it to the ground!” Nuret said this before opening a portal that lead the spy, Vittor, to our world. Thankfully, he arrived in a different city than Jassy. He did not bother to look at this world’s magnificent things, but rather just wanted a place to stay. It was a small village, and there were only a few houses. Then, he saw a beautiful onenearby, and asked if he could stay there. “No! You thief! Get out of here!” the woman screamed in fear. “Have it your way....” he said as he left the house, but opened the bag, and found a gun. As the woman returned to the house, he killed her with countless shots. Nobody heard that happening, since it was really late, and all of the people of the village were already sleeping. Then, he threw the woman’s body to the river, and entered in the house. He slept, and in the other day, Nuret was able to talk to him, using his mind. “So, did you find any of these chosen ones yet?” Nuret asked. “No, sir... I’ll start looking for them now...” he replied. “Ok... Remember, you’ll feel something strange once you’re around one of them... That’ll be the key to identifying these people.” he replied with a tone of disappointment. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ And now the ‘hunt’ starts. Keep a close eye to see how the story unravels and who will find the ‘chosen ones’ first. btw I had the idea and wrote this in 20 minutes, so I'll edit it and make it better once I have time!
