Slicer9875 27 Posted June 10, 2012 (edited) So it's finals week in my college and I'm trying to study in my room. There's this awesome exit pretty much a minute away from my room. However, every time the door is left open, it produces this beeping sound constantly. It's even written explicitly on the door please make sure to close the door properly to avoid this loud beeping sound for God's sake. And yet people still manage to forget to close the door. Yesterday, every time I went to close the door, somebody fixed the problem by the time I arrived. I don't think I'm asking for that much here. I would normally just ignore it but I'v got finals for the next 3 days. Why can't people do this really small thing? I really don't care what these people are doing until what they do affects me. It's hard enough to study without that loud stupid noise going off every five seconds. Annoyed enough right now that I'm actually going to fix it this one time. Slicer9875 27 Posted June 11, 2012 (edited) Can't. It's a college dorm. And I have no idea who I could tell. I honestly have no idea which people are doing it so I can't tell them to stop. And the only thing the person in charge of the dorm could do is write on the door and that's already been done. There are 200 people in the dorm and it might not even be the same people every time. Having a penalty for not closing a door sounds really stupid. There is nothing I can do about it and that's why it's so irritating.
