KHBbS Why Sora, Riku, And Kairi have keyblades. And why Ven looks like Roxas, *Spoilers*

Terra met Riku, Aqua met Kairi, Ven met Sora. Vens heart joins with Soras at the conclusion of his game. Aqua recalls Kairi in the world of dakrness when she grips her charm, Terra sees the KH2 Riku when he sees Riku as a child. Thus, Terra gave the ablitiy to wield the keyblade to Riku, Aqua gave the ability to wield the keyblade to Kairi, and since Vens heart joined with Sora, Sora also gained the ability to wield the keyblade, And also why he was able to overcome the darkness when it took over Destinys Islands in KH1, Because Ven was still in Sora, And when Sora unlocked his heart in KH1 to release Kairis heart from within Him, Vens heart left, And when the nobody Roxas was formed, Vens heart went inside Roxas, explaining Why Roxas looks like Ven and thinks he has a heart.

There's a cutscene where Terra lets Riku hold his keyblade.

So I assume Aqua did the same, and Ven joined sora so that explains why the yhave keyblades

Well since Ven wasn't in Sora during KHII, and Sora did a lot. I'm sure some of Ven rubbed off on Sora.

If Ven's heart took over Sora's Nobody, creating Roxas, then regardless of weather Roxas is Ven or not (Sorry about the disclamer: I've seen too many flame wars elsewere on this subject), when Roxas was reabsorbed into Sora, so was Ven's heart.

 

In short, based on your own arguements, and barring something in KHIIFM+ that I missed, Ven WAS in Sora.

 

Edit: Now, if you were talking about the second half of the first KH or CoM, than yes, Sora was flying solo.

Correct, But one thing. In the BBS secret ending, Ven and Terra are shown saying Sora and they're both in What I believe is called the meeting place? Maybe Vens heart finally returned back to his body since he said he wanted to sleep in sora, I'm sure after 12 years you awaken lol.

Kairi could use the Keyblade because when Aqua and Kairi met, she touched Aqua's keyblade. It's a keyblade ceremony. It's needed so in the future so the person would wield the keyblade. Riku and Terra went through the same thing. Sora, that I'm not sure.

I don't think Kairi is 100% a keyblade wielder yet. She just used one of Riku's for a little while.

Aqua was going to do that for Sora, but she realized the connection between Riku and Sora was very much like Terra and Ven and she didn't want the two young boys to become like her friends (which they did anyway :rolleyes: ). But Sora? Destiny? Because he has Ven's heart? Because he's special? I'm not sure there's a definite reason as of yet for why Sora has a keyblade, but he is definitely gifted seeing as how he has only had the keyblade for a short time and was able to make himself a master with no training from a master and without passing the master qualification exam

Cleared it up with people on another forum. It's because Sora has the heart of someone who has undergone the Rite of Succession within him that allows him to wield the Keyblade.

 

Not technically a master though, more like a mistake on the localization team's part. In Japanese he is merely called the Keyblade user/hero. Back before BBS was released, it was okay to use the term "master", but now when it's actually important...eh, it'll take a lot of explaining to do. Also, take the Lingering Sentiment. Jiminy's journal states that it has far more experience than Sora with the Keyblade.

 

@ rho - Yeah, she's more like...50% of a wielder. She can wield the Keyblade because she had undergone (though accidently) the rite. All that's left to become a fully-fledged Keyblade wielder is to actually call one out of thin air on her own.

It's not a mistake. There is no coincidence in fate. If it happened, it happened for a reason.

 

It's questionable whether or not Ven's heart merged back with Sora's when Roxas merged with him in the beginning of KH2, or if he's simply just using it for shelter like Kairi's was. In order to free him from torment, his heart needs to complete itself and then follow his bonds back to his body. Or at least that's what Yen Sid said anyways, and it's not like he knows everything, so he might be wrong.

I remember reading that it represented his memories of home on the islands, and one day it just appeared when he thought about DI. Something like that.

 

He probably lent it to Kairi so that she could help, or so that he wouldn't have to multitask and protect her while also fighting the Heartless, because we all know how troublesome protection missions are o.O

I know this is a random late reply to this topic, but idgaf.

If you gain the ability to wield a Keyblade just by being given it to hold, I'm expecting to see Jack Sparrow kicking some major ass in KH3, personally.
