This is the summer project that I have planned, and will be dragged out over the summer, releasing only a chapter at a time. While this is simply a project, I have put my whole being into it, and I hope you enjoy the story over all. Tragedy, Comedy, Romance, Action, Mystery, Suspence, Life, Death... These are the factors you may experience when reading this. Reader discretion is advised.Thank you, and Enjoy. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was walking home alone once more, leaving the school for the day. Being the age that I was, fifteen, I had no problems walking home alone. In fact, I loved it. It was autumn, and the leaves were all abundant shades of scarlet, brown, and gold. The scenic route, also the route less traveled, was my favorite way to go. This small patch of wood was all that I needed to relax me from a tiring day of school. It took me an extra thirty minutes to get home, but I loved it nonetheless, because there was always something new. Wildlife sprung from bushes and trees all around. I'd see rabbits, squirrels, and occasionally, a White-tailed Deer. As I reached the front porch, my smile slowly faded to an undefined blandness. I threw myself up the stairs, and into the living room, where I recived my Usual greeting. "Hey, Caleb! How was school?" My father would ask. "It was okay. How was work?" I responded with a slight sense of sarcasm. My dad would never respond. Why would this day be any different? I walked down the hall, into the room farthest from the front door. I threw down my backpack, closed the door, sat down, and pulled out my guitar. It seemed that my guitar was my only escape from reality. I hated my town. It was trashy, dark, and there was a drug dealer in every neighborhood, and a hooker on every corner. My school was no better. The entire campus was full of whores, “Gangstas wit Swag”, and teachers who didn’t know how to teach. My favorite song to play was My Immortal by Evanescence. It always was a fitting song to play after school. I didn't exactly fit in the whore/gangster status quo. I was a gamer, not a complainer, simply put. After a few minutes of playing, I decided to leave my guitar, and head into the living room, and log on to my sisters laptop. As always, the first site I visited was Facebook. My friends from the town over and several other states always kept me company on here, although today, I had received no notifications. So, I left, and traveled onto my favorite site, KH13.com The first thing that greeted me was "Kingdom Hearts 3D nominated for VGawards!" No surprise there. I then headed to the forums, where I talked to Goddess Koko, who reminded me once more, that she was perfect. That's when it happened. A message popped up onto the screen. Not the usual Windows notification, but a non-bordered one. It was a simple message, but one that can send shivers down the spine of any internet user. "Goodbye" A closer look at the window would reveal the image of Troll Face. A Joker, I thought. And at that moment, everything disappeared. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sort of a boring beginning, but don't all great stories start slow? I planned a story where all of us were really Force-Sensitive and we hunted the hacker down and killed them. Never wrote it, though. Reminds me of this! PLZ include me! I'm the girl who's persistent, friendly, never cusses, knows basically everything there is to know about all the games (exception of KH3D, as I haven't played yet), accepts people regardless of color/gender/religion/sexual orientation/etc, blocks mean users instead of saying mean things back to them, thinks Terra and Riku are epic, has a crush on Vanitas, reads for fun, and does medieval reenactment on weekends (in addition to the clothing, I have a real hand-and-a-half sword and a longbow and arrows). Without further ado, Here is chapter two! ------------------------------------------ For hours, it seemed, there was nothing but darkness. Laying there, waiting for something to happen, but nothing ever came. Where was I? What happened? These questions and more were flowing through my head at once. Grain? No, sand. I felt sand on my face. Sand... but from where? I could feel the sun beat down on my neck, and I heard the sound of a thousand exotic birds chirping in unison. I tried to open my eyes, but all I could see was darkness. That is when I realized I was lying down on my stomach. I sat up, and examined the area. It was a beach. Palm tree's and scrubs were abundant and cleverly placed, it seemed. There was a dock that lead out a few feet into the sea, with one small row boat beside it. The sky was dark, and the only light was the moon. There was a small shack to the left, which seemed to be lead into a tree. In fact, the entire area looked like nothing but a giant tree house. It was a small island, with a long strand of islands far away from it, and one small one connected to this one via a bridge. I had already known my location by this point in time, but how? I took closer notice the beach around me. There were others, all lying down, with quite a distance from one another. Slowly, one by one, they woke up. The first to awaken was a young teen, looking around thirteen to fourteen. She had light brown hair, and a lean figure. She looked around in shock, to realize where she was not too much longer. She then turned to me. "Who are you?" She asked, her voice as shaky as mine would be. "... Who are you?... I am Caleb. Do you know how we got here?" I responded, although I was pretty sure she would have no idea. "I'm not telling... and... No... I don't... I was just online, and then I woke up here... It must've been that pop up...." "You got that pop up too? I was thinking the same thing!... but how would a simple pop up lead us here?" "You know where we are, don't you? This is-" She started to say, but was interrupted by a third unknown voice. " Destiny Islands, of course." We both turned around to see a dark figure, with short, spiky, raven black hair. His choice of dress was a robe. He looked sort of like Loki from Marvels "Thor." "I'm not sure how exactly I got here either, but I am pretty sure the location was intended. I was logged into Kh13 when this happened. What could be more ironic than here?" He finished. The girl and I both reacted the same way. Neither one of us could be mistaken by who he was, and both of us now knew our involvement. " We were all logged into kh13, were we not? On said site, I am known as Loki. Who would you two be? Hmm. By the look of you, you must be Gumi. You face and her avatar share a similarity." Loki responded to our surprised faces with a smirk. The girl responded with a simple nod. " Than who are you? You must be one of those crazies who doesn't have an avatar." Another voice joined in. We turned around to see Always. How did we know it was Always? His tone of voice and his face. " On KH13 I am Tycen. Call me what you will. Now that we all know who we are, we have to wake up the others." I responded. There were still some of us sleeping, and I felt the responsibility to help wake them up. The remaining four were revealed to be Golden Ultima, Austin V., Megasora, and Sora's Little Helper, but for some reason, Megasora voted to go by Megarexs and Sora's Little Helper insisted to be called Travis. That was all of us. But one problem remained. " So, how are we going to get back home?" Gumi asked, worried. Everyone else glanced at each other, none of them having an idea. " Man, If only 4Everbee was here. She would find an answer. Or maybe Kingdom Katherine. She doesn't post much, but she is really smart. She could figure this out." Gold went on and on about how if other members were here, than we would have no problem. " Well, the other members AREN'T here, so we are going to have to figure this out on our own. But for now, sleep is what we need. If this is indeed Destiny Islands, than we need to hide ourselves. Who knows when Sora and them will pop up, or even IF they will pop up. " I responded, trying not to piss anyone off. We all gathered into the Secret Place and took our separate spaces. The others quickly fell asleep, all except for Me and Megarexs. " How did we even get here? A simple pop up is way too pointless to have done THIS to us. I need to get home. My brother is probably worried sick." It sounded like he wasn't even trying to keep worry out of his voice. I never responded. I didn't know what to say. Instead, I just tried to fall asleep, but as usual, I had no luck, until early the next morning. ______________________________________________ It is still slow, I understand, but please, bear with me. Just a bunch of bundled up words that woke me up the next morning. Nothing was happening yet. Everyone was still there, no one was missing. No one showed up. What were they talking about? " Tycen! Get yourself up!" One of the voices yelled. Of course, it was Gumi's. She stared down at me like my mother had done many years ago. " They could show up at anytime. They might just be asleep here somewhere. How would you feel if you had several teens sleeping on the ground?" Golden Ultima. He really hasn't said much. This is the first time I heard him speak since we've been here. "...They don't live here, you know. After they're last journey, they are probably staying with their parent's a few days before they come here." I responded, lazily... I only went to sleep a few hours earlier. How could they expect me to be awake. But apparently, I was awake enough to hear some footsteps coming down the path. In reaction, I jumped up and hid. Why so early? " Hey. I heard you guys talk for awhile, so I know your in here. Don't worry, I'm from KH13 as well. It's me, Rikufan25." The voice said. We all peeked up from our rocks we so poorly hid behind, and greeted Rikufan25. There was only one problem here. " You're going to have to go by a different name. What if the REAL Riku shows up. That could ruin the order of things." Travis was right. Something bad could happen. " Fred then. Just Fred. Not Freddie, not Frederick, Fred." He responded with a calm voice. Everyone looked at Fred. No one was amused. We took note on how it was twilight, closer to night as Loki led us back to the beach. The sun was levitating a few feet above the horizon. No sign of Sora, Riku or Kairi. We sat there for several minutes, just chewing the fat. We all knew what was going on (Sort of), and we had no need to further discuss it. A whooshing sound. A black door. A dog, a Duck, a mouse, and two girls. We all heard and saw all of these appear in less than 7 seconds. Who they were was undeniable. Goofy, Donald, Micky, Kairi, and Namine'. Namine' shortly dissipated afterwards, but the rest stayed put. We ducked into hiding behind a bush. Loki and Golden hid in a small pool area, while Megarexs, Gumi, Travis, Fred, and I hid behind the dispersed bushes. Not noticed, we kept watch. Nothing happened for awhile. Just them sitting on the beach. They weren't even talking. They had no need to. We all knew what was coming next. "Heh. Of course." Loki spoke... It might have been a better choice to keep quiet... We now had they're attention. Shortly after, a shield was flung into the bushes, scattering leaves and twigs across the beach, and revealing several of us users. ---------------------------------------------- THIS IS NOT THE END OF THE CHAPTER! I will post the rest later. I am quite busy at the moment. Be back in a few! A meteor shower. Two blobs fell out of the sky and into the water carelessly. It seemed none of them noticed. They were too focused on the intruders on the island. Kairi stared blankly at Loki, while Donald and Goofy switched into their defensive pose... Goofy had already attacked, as we have seen, but Donald was cooking up a spell. No one wanted that. "Wait!" Megarexs shouted. Donald halted. Micky stared at us with disbelief. What was so interesting about us that got him intrigued? --------------------------- Sorry this is all I could add for now.
