Ok lately i've been seeing alot of threads talking about Kingdom Hearts HD Remix or Rememberance and frankly it's getting annoying yet, here I am making a thread for the HD stuff so we don't have to have anymore of these annoying threads. If you know something just put it in this thread because not only will it manage the amount of HD news on the forums it will also help answer some questions so enjoy!

I just hope they announce a HD remake soon because I am tired of hearing about what is post in these threads. Also if there is an HD remake, I hope they make it available on Xbox 360 since I don't own a PS3.

Iol I was talking about Days being remade. Depends on when they started it(looks back at how long Re:COM took even though Days is shorter).

Don't waste money on games that shouldn't be wasted on(but sadly this doesn't apply to Square).

I can't say I agree with you I think it would be good for people who haven't played it nor had the money to get a DS and I am one of those people.

 

I think that based on past interviews with Nomura I think that the HD collection has a good chance to be true because 1) Nomura said he was working on an unannounced project that would be a curveball 2) if you go back and look at the GI interview I believe that's where he said that he would like to remake 358/2 days with analog control

I think that would be pretty cool, to have the all the games flow into each other with improvements. It would be a game that would take a while to beat and everyone could have a better grasp at the story line and how they all connect together.

There are rumors. I think the Geno thing could be just his guessing due to th strange lack of coded, which I think there are people who think Re:coded is a remake of the first game (or at least that's what I could understand from ScrewAttack's video, I'll rewatch later).

 

EDIT: However, there's a chance that he guessed right about the HD Remakes, about not necessarily on the consoles and the exact games. I see no reason to not include coded in the HD Collection.

I do. It adds nothing to the story. If a remake collection would be released, it would be to expand the market for KH3, so they'd only put in the games that explain the story. The only relevant thing about Coded was the secret ending, which can easily be put in as a cutscene or whatever.

What is TGS exactly I know it's the Tokyo Game Show but, is that the place where Square usually announces FF and KH games?

It adds nothing to the story.

 

How?

-It adds the Datascape.

-It's revealed the King was in Traverse Town at same time as Sora.

-We are shown a cutscene with Riku and Kairi in Never Land that seems to carry some importance, or hinting that something happened there.

-It bring the question of whether or not a heart can be born in a life made of data. Nomura even said this is the main question of the game.

 

And:

-As of KH3D, Maleficent's wants the Datascape. It'll probably have a role in KHIII.

-BBSFM's Secret Ending shows Donald and Goofy in Traverse Town in the same night. Additionally, the Secret Ansem Reports suggest that the King entered on the Realm of Darkness through Traverse Town.

-BBSFM's Secret Ending shows Riku and Kairi agian in the Clock Tower. The first trailer ever for KH shows Riku in the Clock Tower, making me believe that a scrapped plot point is being brought back and it fits the current plot. Maybe if a HD Collection actually comes we'll see something more regarding that scene.

-KH3D makes a big reveal about the heart that was hinted literally on every single game since KHIIFM and uses a concept that was literally introduced in the first game through the Ansem Reports. I can't be more specific without giving spoilers.

The only relevant thing about Coded was the secret ending, which can easily be put in as a cutscene or whatever.

KH - Too Early.

KHCOM - Again, too early.

KHII - Correct time, but the cene doesn't fit with the emotion of the Ending.

KHDays - It all takes place in the 358 days escept for the Ending scene, so it makes no sense putting it here.

KHBBS - It's all about the past, so it doesn't fit here.

KH3D - Too late.

This scene only fits in coded, so it would only be shown in it, specially since that game ties Days and BBS.

If it's because it adds little to the story, then COM also adds little to the story with even Nomura himself saying the game is not important (or at least I remember reading this somewhere). It became important, regardless, with elements of it's plot being alluded many times and it was hinted that the Datascape will have a role in KHIII. So, if coded is not worth it, then COM also isn't.

Nomura stated he wants to do something about the games being spread over different consoles, and coded is a game, so is Days.

And he also said he wish he could put analog control for Days, which has also the worst graphics in the series. Basically, everything points to Days and coded being in the HD Collection, if there's one. I can even see a KH3D HD remake released in the future, maybe together with KHIIIFM like happened with Re:COM. I just don't know how they would handle the 3D.

If they did make a HD collection I'd wager It would only include KH and KHII.

What I would like to see would be what they did with God of War and have 2 Volumes. Maybe volume I KH and KHII, Volume II Re:COM and BBS?
