This has been bugging me for years, and I've had to ask this after seeing an article about Holyfield possibly seeing jailtime for not paying for child support. Now my question is this: Why is it that celebrities, who make hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars, end up having money problems, have debts, and become broke? I would think that at the very least, one million dollars would be enough to support a couple, and maybe 2 mil for those that have children and maybe want to put them through college. But I would think that they would invest what they earn in order to help them have stability. Don't get me wrong, they deserve what they earn, along with anybody else in the world that works for a living. But I just find it hard to believe that they have all that money, are able to buy nice cars, mansion/nice house, and yet something along the line comes by where they lose a good chunk on what they had earned in their careers, if not everything.
