Cloud the Keyblade Master 44 Posted June 1, 2012 The twisters and lightning on would destroy Midgar and the surrounding area anyways. But, this is a big city and a big hub in the game. Sephiroth planned for this. He didn't want to destroy the world, but instead make a massive wound that the Planet would have to heal and then absorb its energy and become a god. Then he would take over the world (everyone would be dead or be killed or some other thing), which he would use to ride the universe, just like Jenova. DUH!
