Does it matter? Roxas had some more lines in a flashback scene that we didn't get to see until now, and lots of characters had lines or appearances but they're not back yet. So the voice actors list doesn't confirm who's coming back and it's not a spoiler.

We saw Ven's armor and something that looked like Ven's armor form turned into a Nightmare Dream Eater in the trailer (plus I watched the footage from the release party) so I knew he was coming back, and we see Xion looking at Sora in the trailer. She and Sora never met, he was comatose for just about her entire existence.

 

Leonardy Nimoy IS coming back! WOOHOO! I was so sure that one of the magazines awhile back had said he wasn't.

Awe, come on... no Alyson Stoner? Hayden, I'll give you a chance... but if you mess up Xion, I will be VERY disappointed.

Haley: well duh, if they replaced Sora the whole fanbase would revolt!

.....Ventus and Xion don't have any lines in this game. And last I heard (nothing to do with Richard Epcar's Facebook, completely different sources from a while back), Nimoy was most definitely not returning. As much as I'd love for Nimoy to still be on cast, the fact that two of the characters listed don't even need voice acting is a little suspicious and therefore isn't giving me enough proof to accept this as any sort of proof that Nimoy is still doing Master Xehanort.

For the record, there wasn't a spoiler tag when I quoted it. Don't yell at me for removing it if it wasn't there to begin with.

 

edit: Following up on this a few hours later because it's been on my mind all day. Even if the spoiler tag was there, for whatever reason, it was not there when I reblogged it. I did not manually remove anything! Perhaps the system itself did it because it can't handle quotes with spoiler tags. I feel bad that it happened and I did immediately go back and take out the quote.

 

It just goes to show that if you don't want to be spoiled then you really shouldn't be lurking a fansite. Whether accidental, innocent, or intentional, spoilers can, will, and do show up. I'm sorry that the the spoiler tag wasn't there but I DID NOT REMOVE IT MYSELF. I absolutely wouldn't do that.

It was an official press release that Nimoy was returning. Otherwise, Nimoy would have obviously spoken out against this by now. Regardless, this is information coming directly from Square Enix, so of course it's true.
