Wolfgang 735 Posted May 30, 2012 u_u Try leveling..........
Cloud the Keyblade Master 44 Posted May 30, 2012 Very tough battle... You will want to be Lv 70 and up and have good keyblades if you want a better chance of defeating him. Sephiroth has 3,000 HP to knock out, and is very fast. He also has 42 Str and 24 Def. Use Glide, running, Guard, reactions, and PLENTY OF CURES AND ELIXERS! His most devastating attack leaves him wide open, so go for it then. Don't exspect a quick/easy battle, this is one of the toughest feats of the series (including any of the other secret, final, or really annoying mid-way bosses *cough* Antlion *cough*, but yeah, this has to be one of or the toughest in most/a lot of opinions). WakelessDream 2,280 Posted May 30, 2012 (edited) Level up your forms to unlock skills like glide, the running one, berserk, high jump, and stuff like that, and also just be high level in general lol, use a strong keyblade? Like the ultima, idk I cheated I kinda looked at a strategy guide to beat him but even with the strategy guide it was still a tough fight, but still one of the most fun in the series ;0 Edited May 30, 2012 by WakelessDream
Keyblade_warrior895 51 Posted May 30, 2012 get sora leveled up as much as he can, it'll be easier to beat him, that's what me and my brother did, having the ultima weapon doesn't hurt either
caro Natan 0 Posted May 30, 2012 Get the forms abilities that will be easier.
Mina Del Rio 39 Posted May 30, 2012 (edited) I think the best way to do it is already said: 1) level up your forms to get their maxed abilities. 2) become best friends with the block button. The first time I defeated him was on a friend's data, and he was playing Final mix, proud mode, level 89-93. Still took a lot of patience. And blocking 3) take a few high potions (or elixir), and two or three ether. On your shotcuts put the potion command in your favorite spot, and cure on your second fave. You can put a shorcut to ether here as well, that's very optional. You won't be using it much, it's only to recover magic in case you run out of potions and need to use heal. 4) In one of the other free spots put some magic, and if you will, reflect on the last one, that way you can block him and, if in the end you're only one hp away to defeat him, instead of doing the super long sora combo that could get you unluckily killed, you can use the magic attack (ice has worked wonderfully for me, but some others prefer fire magic) to defeat him. I specially recommend the last one, that was the only way I could beat him As for the keyblade: I used definitive pumpkin, as the description is this: "The greater number of combos landed, the more damage is dealt, leading to a strong finishing move!" (taken from the Kingdom hearts wiki). It reaaally hurts him after you force Sora to finish the combos (with me at least, Sora could keep attacking endlessly sometimes) Edited May 30, 2012 by Mina Del Rio
Oathkeeper#13 25 Posted May 30, 2012 You dont even need skills.. hes Easy v.v beat him at level
xXVentusfanXx 33 Posted May 30, 2012 make sure you have ONCE MORE and SECOND CHANCE and equip decisive pumpkin for maxium gorund combo damage it really doesnt take that much skill... OR just loop him...
NightfallXIII 68 Posted May 31, 2012 I recommend leveling up to Level 65 to get the Beserk Charge ability, and equipping it. It will allow you to do an near endless combo that will make it impossible for him to teleport away. If you don't have it equipped, after 2-4 combo's he'll be gone. If you are to impatient to level up like I was (I was level 64), get the Fatal Crest keyblade in the Underdome in Olympus Coloseum. It's weak, but it comes with the Beserk Charge ability. When Sephiroth uses Sin Heartless Angel on you, use an elixer as soon as your health and MP go down, any time sooner is a waste of an elixir. Then press the triangle button to block his next attack. Make sure that the elixer as well as Cure are on your shortcut list. Use cure only when he is done attacking, and make sure that he is a fair distance away. When he summons the meteors, just run and jump around the edge of the fighting area. I heard that you can high jump and attack him to interrupt, but I never did that because I didn't have high jump. And there you have it. If you have any problems or misunderstandings, send me a message. I will give you extra tips or clarification.
Setrex 1,031 Posted June 1, 2012 I beat him at lvl 70 on normal mode but I don't think I beat him yet on proud and I was about level 77 or something, though I never really tried to fight him Extremely fun fight. Challenging but really fun
Novarin 2 Posted June 1, 2012 I accidentally found him and talked to him. I was so scared when he attacked, that I forgot it was a battle. I died in 20 seconds. =( So basically, get a lot of ap and abilities, get lots of elixers, get the Ultima Weapon if possible, and block a lot. It seems like a good strategy. MateusinhoEX 52 Posted June 2, 2012 I defeated it in level 64, in critical mode. Tatics are the best way to do that. When he attacks with the sword, block and use counter guard, that will leave him open for attacks. When he teleports, pay attention. If he appears besides you and try to trow you to the air, use reflect, or if he hits, Retaliating Slash right after he appears in air again. Counter attacking, blocking, and using Block Reaction Command are the Key to victory. Oh, ehen he prepare the attack that leaves you with one HP, use trinity limit to quickly stop him. Kello 310 Posted June 2, 2012 Reflect. Use that magic. It's the best. And try to get Glide. When he makes his big combo, block it and use Block Counter right after it. Use that many times. Second Chance and Once More are the best abilities, and Leaf Bracer too. Do not run away from him, just attack and block. (I know what I'm saying, I defeated him twice; Level 64, No Damage.)
