xXRedTokyoXx 12 Posted May 28, 2012 When Chain of Memories first got released and I beat both walkthroughs, that was when I saw the multiplayer option on the menu. they brought Multiplayer back again in Birth By Sleep, but honestly, I don't think it was that much of a hit. If Kingdom Hearts III is on PS3, meaning it is, then does any one else think it's possible to add an online mode? I'm not just talking about Challenge, Mission, or Battle mode. But maybe..something more. Any ideas?
burnsideking24 256 Posted May 28, 2012 Something like a third person slasher or something? Honestly, I think BBS' multiplayer (on a bigger scale) would be great on a console

rikunobodyxiii 700 Posted May 28, 2012 Arena mode only pls. We don't need a Raccoon City again. There are plenty of older games that have good coop campaigns. I personally would love that for KH3. There are plenty of characters to play as for it.

That's what I was thinking! maybe a different side-story to it after you beat the game. Basically a non-cannon story.
Kishira 2,854 Posted May 28, 2012 If it's like the Mirage Arena were it has nothing to do with the story, then that's fine. But I'd rather do the plot-based 99% of the game with me, myself, and I.

Keyblade_warrior895 51 Posted May 28, 2012 though it would be good if they had a keyblade war multiplayer level, kind of a 'what happened before kingdom heart' bit
rikunobodyxiii 700 Posted May 28, 2012 (edited) non-cannon sounds pretty good. Either that or another side of the story. The coop campaign for Splinter Cell: Conviction was basicly a prolog for the main campaign that explained certain some of the set up of the story. You could play the single player and get the full story. The coop one was just deepened it a little. If there is a coop campaign for KH3, that's how I'd like it. XIIISwords 1,059 Posted May 28, 2012 a co-op story mode option would be interesting Only if it was optional. Sora and Riku, or Sora and Roxas. Or maybe Sora and whichever Keyblade Wielders he frees (VAT, Roxas, Riku, Xion). LOTR: ROTK had a very good multiplayer mode. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZJGmQH7-z0

Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted May 28, 2012 It doesn't need multiplayer, but it would be nice either way. Co-op would be a good idea.
Bosh104 51 Posted May 28, 2012 (edited) though it would be good if they had a keyblade war multiplayer level, kind of a 'what happened before kingdom heart' bit I like this. An optional, playable flashback with new characters that were actually part of the Keyblade War. But if this happened, Nomura would be an epic troll and include a character that will make us go "WTF ONAMGUINVFIUANR HOW THE HELL WAS HE/SHE IN THE KEYBLADE WAR?!?!" then the speculation begins. This is inevitable. Edited May 28, 2012 by Bosh104

Ok, what does that have to do with KH? KH is a SOLO-RPG game. Arena Mode was made with Multiplayer in mind, and it is non-canon. It's good enough. It's a way KH can improve. When I started playing video games, I always played with my brother. As years have gone on, less and less games have good coop parts, if they have multiplayer at all. I want more games I can play with my friends. KH has the potential to do that.

KH doesn't need to improve. It already has Multiplayer, Arena Mode in BBS and Mission Mode in 358/2 Days. There's also that Dream Eater minigame that's multiplayer in 3D. Will KH3 be ruined if there is no coop. No. I would just enjoy it more if there was.

I'm not sure if you've ever played a Co-Op RPG game but KH would be a good one. I'm guessing you've never played with anyone in a Co-Op RPG game like, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of The New World , Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, Monster Hunter Tri , Fable II , or Fable III. They could have all been SOLO-RPG and amazing but they became Co-Op and have been amazing that way too. KH falls under this category. No need to bash the idea so throughly. Seems more fun. Monster Hunter is a series that started out with somewhat Multiplayer. WTF is Sacred, and didn't know Tales of Symphonia 2 has multiplayer. KH does not need co-op campaign. We don't need any more black sheep in the series. EDIT: The only thing that needs improvement is the music, Sekito needs to be kicked from the music team. This is you out of many other people. your opinion is as it stands, but many people will beg to differ. A few have already said so in the thread. You haven't even supported your reasoning for it. Because YOU don't want it? Well then you wouldn't have to play Co-Op. We said it should be optional... Your being to biased on the topic.
rikunobodyxiii 700 Posted May 29, 2012 We don't need any more black sheep in the series. I do not understand how a coop mode would make the game a black sheep. I'm not trying to poke holes in what your saying, I would just like to hear the reasoning behind it. I understand you don't like the idea of coop in KH3, but why?
