Now I say if there is something more to that monster, it would be how to capture the beast and kill it." Alison said. NightfallXIII 68 Posted June 8, 2012 Night began to grow impatient. "Ugh, how come it isn't working? Where the heck is it?" He began to pace. "I wonder if the other's are having any luck..." His stomach rumbled. "And I'm hungry" Then he thought of something. 'Wait, there were a lot of animals in that fridge...' In the blink of an eye, he pulled a shotgun out of his pocket and fired. It isn't silver, so it's not like common werewolves... but I don't think it's holy water either, because tha should only work on the undead..." Hawk had to think. "Grim, Gmork, Fenrir... all those wolf like creatures are a bit like this one... my great grandfather was the last hunter tat killed one of those more powerful beasts, Rudolf Van Helsing also known as the Gmork slayer. He used an amulet of dreams and his silver scythes according to the Shadowslayer history books... Maybe some kind of relic can stop that beast we are hunting too." The Shadowslayer thought. Finally they reached Hawk's house. It wasn't shabby but very old, stones where still to see through the walls. "Good mom is asleep..." He opened the wall to the secret chamber with is dagger again. "Lets see... Undead... Nope Demons... hmmm.. Nope... Other Shadows... nahhh Here it is, werereatures and other human transformations...." He opened the big black book "The common werecreature... blah blah Human.. blah animal... ok we've got Wolf.. Nope Hare... you're kidding me... Bat like creatures... yeah those bat's aren't vampires those are werwbats Ok.. half demons there it has to be... Fenrir... oldest werecreature.. He yawned. "Hey, I'm gonna take a nap, wake me if it comes." 'What? You can't be serious..." the dragon whined. But Night was already asleep. "Zzzzzz..." The Book, the journal we've found that day is a relic just like my grand grandfather used against the Gmork. If we destroy it that thing can't regenerate it's wounds, also like every werecreature Silver hurts it but doesn't kill it in an instant. But it worries me that it can fuse realities... what if we kill it and it just uses a reality where it still lives?" Hawk looked forward to the hunt. That way one of us is bound to find the monster and one of our team." Alison said reading her sword to fight. Moments later, they were split up and Alison was at the back of the woods. "Okay monster, I dont know where you are hiding, but I do know that you wont get away this time." Alison said. The moon was full and bigger than it had been all month. NightfallXIII 68 Posted June 8, 2012 (edited) 'NIGHT, WAKE UP!' Draco cried inside Night's mind. But Night was a heavy sleeper. Then he heard a screech. "Whoa!" Night cried. He looked up, eyes wide. "Aw, crap! Draco, why didn't you wake me?!" 'I tried, but you sleep like a pile of bricks!' Night jumped up and drew his rapier. "Come down here, I ain't afraid of you!" But he was. In all the books he read, when ever the heroes try to stop the monster the first time, they fail, but manage to stop it the second or third. Night gulped. He knew what it was capable of. NightfallXIII 68 Posted June 9, 2012 "Come on, that's just not fair!" Night shouted. He kinda dodged it. If you count dodging to the left and the monster catching your right arm dodging. "Agh!" He gripped his arm. 'Come on, use my power!' Draco called in his head. "As if I know how!" He then raised his rapier and slashed at the creature several times in a very fast motion. NightfallXIII 68 Posted June 9, 2012 Night gasped. With his injured arm, he couldn't do anything, and the monster made full impact against Night. "AAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Night cried. The monster's body drove him through several trees. The monster finally stopped and Night's body finally hit a tree without going through it. Night fell before the creature, out cold. As she approached, she lauched herself off a tree, stabbing the monster. She pulled her knife out, tumbling to the ground. "You all right?" Nessa asked Night, catching a glimpse of his arm. NightfallXIII 68 Posted June 9, 2012 (edited) Night woke up with a gasp. " Nessa?!" He wasn't sure how long she was there, or what had happened. He turned to the monster and glared. His eyes once again glowed yellow, his shadow changed, and his hair stuck up in the back. He also had a yellow aura around him. "Did you do anything to her? Hraaaa!" He made a pushing gesture, and he sent the monster back flying. "See how you like it." He turned back to Nessa. "What happened? Are you hurt? How long was I out?" It went back launching straight towards them to attack with its claws ready. Then another noise was made and another creature came out of hiding. The creature was a wolf with wings, but instead of looking evil, it looked like a nice wolf. It attack the other creature and the other creature fell backwards. The wolf turned around to check on Night and Nessa, and then was attack in the back by the creature and screamed in pain. The wolf turned around and launched after the creature, causing the creature to fall back a few yards. JailXun 27 Posted June 9, 2012 A sliver lightning was rushing form the ground to the monster, then a second one, then the third one, on and on, each time form another direction. Hawk was very fast for a smoker and reached the battlefield before Alison, now it was up to him to b buy time. As the Magazine was empty Hawk stood behind a tree, breathing heavily... "This isn't time to care for my lungs..." He attached the belt of silver stakes to it and enlightened a cigarette. He slowly walked away form the trees defenseless he stood there aiming at the monster, holding the crossbow with two hands. "Guys, listen, I think we can wound it when we destroy it's journal!" He shouted, then he started firing, like a repeating machine rifle the crossbow started non stop shooting. The most silver stakes hit his head or chest. WakingDawn96 1,166 Posted June 9, 2012 The creature got to its feet and dodged Hawk's attacks with the crossbow. The creature screamed a powerful screech and rushed over to Nessa. It then pulled its claws to Nessa's back to try and attack there. The wolf tried to stop the creature, but the wolf was kicked backwards with the creature's open foot and was knocked back into a tree. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
NightfallXIII 68 Posted June 9, 2012 (edited) Night phased out and then phased back in behind Nessa and caught the monster's claw. "Don't you dare hurt you, you coward," he said, giving it an angry glare that can kill. He tossed it into the air, jumped, and punched it multiple times in the blink of an eye, and then dropkicked it back to earth. He landed back to Nessa and said, "Don't mess with a dragonborn."
