Claire pulled herself back up, grabbing the dual blades as she did so. Hopefully, putting a Keyblade through that thing's eye would weaken it enough...

 

And then, she saw something. A vision perchance, or maybe eve a revelation. That man in the silver armor. The one who wielded these blades. Gabranth. Her body began to move almost on its own as she tapped the hilts of the blades together. The blades were set ablaze with searing magic, Claire adjusting her feet into a wider stance. "You... will be... judged..." She spun full-circle, a shockwave shooting out from the blade through the Heartless. She repeated this four more times, each revolution more fluid and brutal than the last. The motions felt so natural, perhaps memories from the weapons themselves.

 

The Heartless lurched forward, its right shoulder and arms falling to the ground before vanishing completely. With a deep growl, almost like a sigh, the rest of the creature fell apart, dissolving into a black cloud. Claire stumbled forward, as if in a trance before snapping out of it. "Gi... Za... Heartless!" Suddenly fully aware, she scanned the station square. No Heartless in sight; she could only see Zaiz and parts of the train station. Tunnel vision was a b-

 

"Claire." Giglamesh panted, breaking her train of thought. "I've gotta rest. Sorry." Without further words, the dual blades vanished.

 

"You did well. Thanks." She made her way to Zaiz, trying to maintain her balance as she did so. Improving... maybe another ten minutes. "Alright, the MAster should be inside. Let's... not keep him waiting."

 

 

Elsewhere, the Black Figure shook his head. "Claire holds no importance. It is what she represents that must be protected." His voice trailed off. "For Alma." He spoke softly, the synthesizer barely registering the whisper. The stalwart tone returned to him, smokey wafts tufting out form his hood in excess now. "Your organization is nothing but a shadow of its predecessor. Be gone from this world, and deliver my message to Haxus."

Sora watched as his Pupil's were going through the ranks, "Alright!! Thats my students!!" Sora exclaimed happily, still watching from a distance.

 

Zaiz's Keyblade disappeared, then he wraps one of Claire's arms around his shoulder and carries her, "You did great back there, it was impressive, but after that, your gonna be exhausted, so dont mind if I help you." He smiled, helping Claire make her way up the stairs to the Station itself. "Hey Riku, we are here.. Where are ya?" Zaiz called out, hoping Riku could here him.

Riku approched his pupils. "Nice work out there guys, I can see you'll do great" he smile "now lets get in this train." A magic looking train was in front of them.

"Great. Mystery train." Apparently now speaking her thoughts, Claire thanked Zaiz for the lift before regaining her posture. Her headache wasn't as bad now. Hopefully Gil would perk up soon, too. "So, Master... you sent that Heartless after us, right? That was pretty-" Aware that her thoughts were quickly becoming public knowledge, Claire shifted her sentence at the last second to end with "not... cool."

 

She knocked on the train's double doors, pulling back slightly as it shot open. Claire glanced back to Zaiz and Riku before entering. "I don't know how long this trip'll take, but I need a rest. I'm just gonna... yeah." She fell back into one of the cushioned seats, closing her eyes instantly.

Sky smiled towards Sora's excitement as she flipped fighting heartless after heartless.

"Raynd,Chase there starting to gang up over there watch your back."Sky yelled at them pulling Oblivion up to take a five second breather

I wonder how the others are doing. Wait they'll be fine why am I worried for them. Sky headaches were beginning to become a constant pain but it could not sway her from goal. They'll keep fighting and so will I.

Then a heartless came pulling it's claws around her neck. It took her by surprise forcing her to fall back Fight Sky,please.

What's going on why would I hear it again. " Voice I don't know who you are but leave me alone!" Sky yelled as the heartless claws drew closer to her neck. Sky pulled Oblivion towards the heartless just as a bright light flashed blinding her view

Riku waited for his pupils to get on the train.

 

Raynd constantly battled heartless in the mirage arena.

 

Drew slowly walked away from the two( Xiv and the black figure).

Xiv chuckled darkly.

"I'm not a messenger boy." he said. "If I remember your message next time I see Haxus, I'll tell him. Though you'd be better off delivering the message yourself."

Xiv pushed past the dark figure, suppressing a smile. Was the dark figure going to play?

The Figure's synthesizers screeched before clearing out into manic laughter, completely different from before. "Perhaps I will, pawn." Flecks of darkness began to lick off of hits coat like searing flames, scarring its surroundings. "Haxus will learn of what he faces should he choose to continue on this path. In fact... I have no need for either of you anymore."

 

The darkness intensified before rapidly drawing into his body. With no warning, dark energy shot out in all directions with blinding speed, black lances penetrating everything in the way; street lamps, buildings, even the ground itself. In seconds, entire structures began to decay, bricks and mortar dissolving into nothingness. The black decay spread rapidly, englufing everything in its wake. The Figure stood atop the decay, darkness beginning to engulf the surrounding blocks of the town. "Let this Haxus come. He is far from a god, and my Deicide will see his death." The Figure vanished a flash of black smoke, the decay's spread halting.

 

It had consumed three blocks of Twilight Town's business district.

Riku saw the darkness. "Okay were missing this train, were going to check that out." He pointed at the darkness.

"What?" Claire lazily leaned forward on the bench as Giglamesh appeared in her lap.

 

"Claire, we gotta check that out." His tone was flat and serious, rather not like him at all.

 

"Why? It's just darkness. It's everywhere." The girl dismissed her Keyblade's worry, replacing it with a yawn. "I'm so frickin' tired after all that-"

 

"It's him." That got her attention. Claire strode out of the train, wide awake.

 

"Sorry, Master. I need to check this... it might be a little... personal." She said as she passed by, as serious as her companion had been a moment ago. Claire broke into a run, shoving her way through the glass doors of the station. Neither of them were preapred for what waited for them.

 

It was almost as if parts of the town itself were... deleted. Portions of buildings stood crooked; the ground where pavement once lay was ravaged, almost as if it were gnawed on by some enormous beast. Across the expanse stood two figures, but they were too far away to make out any characteristics. But the most overwhelming sensation was the feeling that washed over Claire. Could this really have been his work? Something in her mind began to play back, but only in fragments.

 

There was a man in a dress suit with a hat... and a lance of some kind... and the Black Figure was there as well. The man swung the lance, flames trailing behind as he lunged forward with murder in his wild eyes and insanity in his grin. The Figure ducked down, slamming the palm of his hand into the man's stomach. The man twisted away, falling back as the lower half of his jack dissolved. The fire in both his eyes and weapon intensified as he leapt up, the Figure-

 

And that's where it ended. The way that man's jacket dissolved... the tattered edges looked exactly like those left in the surrounding bricks. "He was here." Gilgamesh said softly, surveying the streets. "But what would cause him to do something like this?"

 

"I don't know. But," Claire paused, as if uncertain. "I don't think we should include the Master in this,"

Zaxiz, wandering within Twilight Town, saw that the Darkness had consumed some of the Street and Buildings, and decayed them. "This is no ordinary work of Darkness..... it's as if it was...." Zaxiz put his hand over his chest, as if something was different. "Zaiz... your here..."

 

Zaiz ran with Claire, but Quietly. He kept his mouth shut the whole time when his Keyblade began freaking out. Zaiz didnt stop to check what was up, until he stopped right behind Claire. He couldnt hold in his suprise as he saw everything was decade and rotted. "W-What happened here..?" He seemed confused, as if terrified all in one. "Claire.. can you explain this..?" Zaiz asked, curious of the situation.

"... no. I'm afraid I can't." Claire flat-out lied. "But I think the Master was right. This is the work of some kind of darkness, although it's nothing like I've... ever seen before." She had only seen that man use this ability once before, during his fight with...

 

The name escaped her now. It was the man in the suit that she had seen in the memory moments ago. The man with the flaming lance. "K"-something? Maybe it started with a "c"...

 

 

Eckhardt's patience was beginning to wear thin. Not only was there no information on this man that Haxus was looking for, but there was no sign of anything here either. Radiant Garden may not have yielded desirable results, but there were hundreds of other densely populated worlds out there. Maybe Twilight Town would be more elucrative. Then again-

 

Eckhardt stopped as a blast of dark energy washed over his body from the back. He turned slowly, eyeing the cloaked figure a few meters away. Something about this man was slightly... familiar. "Who are you?"

 

"The messenger." The Black Figure advanced, dark power coursing through its hands.

The light dimmed as she looked around the floor. No one was there and she was defiantly not in the mirage arena anymore.

This has got to be a dream. At least I hope it is.

The surrounding area was carpeted with a small coffee living room table centured right in front of a screen lit but revealing no information. Opposite of that was a door but it was locked from the outside.

"Wait this is..." Sky spoke to herself as she curled up in a ball as the locks began to unlock. The door opened and quickly shut as a tall woman came in. She seemed to be in a hurry.

That's..."Mommie why can't I go play with everyone else?"Sky pulled her hands to her mouth not expecting those words to come. The woman stopped right in front of her bending down reaching out to hold her cheek,"I'm sorry honey, but right now the townspeople are kinda upset with you." the woman looked into Sky eyes the long lost warmth she hadn't felt in a long time,"but why I can use the keyblade just fine."

The women smiled,"The people are just a little scared right now"

A loud bang sounded,"Lady Mina open this door, I need to talk to you NOW!!!!" a man's voice rang from the other side of the door.

"I'll be right back okay honey," Mina kissed Sky on the head and left the room closing the door behind her. The door locked once again leaving Sky alone in the room.

Unable to control her actions Sky got up and put her ear to the door. "I'm sorry Lady Mina but the girl has to go."

The sound surprised her but she couldn't move away from the door,"Please Charles, she's only six years old."

"I'm sorry Lady Mina but I can't allow her to stay here any longer, yes it's good she's a keyblade user and I bless her for it. But those changing eyes, the people think it's a curse and I'm getting no buiseness. I'm really sorry that's the reason I'm throwing you out but I have to make a living. Here's some munney but can't I give you much but hopefully it will at least get that child to a proper place." a tear ran down her cheak.

I can't believe this is happening again. Mina said nothing else opening the door and with a shocked expresion Sky ran out the door passing Mina and Charles without even looking back.

Please Stop. Sky thought but still couldn't stop running faster and faster. Running until she tripped on a rock.

"Are you okay Keyblade bearer." she looked up she a clocked person Organization 13 Sky thought still unable to talk right Sky said," Do hate me too because of my eyes?"

The sound of a smirk came from the clocked person,"No I don't but seeing as this world will disappear why don't you come with me?"

"Disappear?"Sky said as she turned back and forth everything was covered in shadows. "You did this didn't you?" she backed up from the cloaked figure

"Oh your fast lady keyblade bearer," the guy walked closer Sky had no choice but to back up," but why does that matter this town this world has deserted you." Sky continued to back up tears trickling down her face.

"So what."

"So what? So what you say why don't you come with me and I'll show you why?"

"No," with that Sky tripped on the same rock and fell backwards into the shadows as her world began to disappear.

Sky kicked and fought the darkness but it was no use Somebody Help Me!

And with that she did the only thing that came to her no matter how unnatural it felt," SORA, RAYND, CHANCE HELP ME!!!" Sky yelled as the same light that drifted her away from the mirage arena safely drifted back

Raynd ran over to sky and helped her up"what happened? " all he saw was one moment she was fighting then she fell.

Sora stepped into the ring, then ends the fight really quick. "Sky!! Sky!! are you alright!?" He seemed worried, never seeing his pupil do something like that before. "Sky!!" He called her name once more, hoping to get a response.

Sky could hear her name being called. What's happening to me, am I finally going crazy. "Sky!!" she heard Sora voice

She opened her eyes seeing Raynd hold her up. Fear could be clearly seen on her face there was no way of hiding it.

One deep sigh of relief and she ended up hugging Raynd," Thank you so much you saved me from my nightmare," she whispered in his ear then quickly pulled away from the group.

My hearts pounding and I feel tired.

"I'm sorry...to have...worried you guys...this doesn't happen a lot," Tripping on her feet, she fell back to the floor. She tried to get back up but realised something odd.

There's a bruise from where I fell in the vision.

"I don't...mean to be a...bother, but can you guys...help me up. I think I bruised my leg." She put on a fake smile but do to fact that she was shaking it was totally visible that it was fake.

Raynd smiled and held out his hand. "At least your okay." He helped her up and put her arm around his shoulder to help her walk. "Lets go sit down, you need to rest." They walked to the edge of the arena and sat down. "So...what happened back there?" He asked once again now that she was more conscious.

Sky followed Raynd to the edge and sat down next to him.

Thanks to them...I don't have to face this memory alone anymore. "So...what happened back there." At first she was surprised that someone actually cared.

"Um," she took a short break quickly turning away from Raynd Should I let him know?...Of course I should he's supposed to be my partner. But what if they hate me like the others did?

"...if I tell you please don't hate me." she paused and continued not even waiting for their word,"...it was a memory, a nightmare turned into a vision."

She looked towards her hands,"My world was forced into darkness because of me and my eyes. It's a vision that reminds my heart when danger is sensed to those connected to me,"she curled back up into ball again not even caring a bout the pain in her leg," I have no idea why it happens though."

Raynd laughed a little "there is no way that YOU sent your world into darkness. Your too nice."

Sky looked up,"I'm not nice." she sighed,"I'm just lost in my sea of emotions. I just...can't shake the feeling that it was my fault. Everyone is gone and now I don't know how to find them, or if they are alright, or wheither they'll even want to see me."

What's wrong with me now I'm crying my full heart out to a stranger.

"Have you ever met Organization 13, Raynd?"she looked at him," I have...I don't know who it was or anything but they found out a bout Oblivion and me. One more Keyblade barrier for the darkness, they came for me right after I ran away from home and because of that I put everyone in danger and that is why my world fell. And I haven't seen anyone from my world for eight years."

Make friends here, Sky it'll be great.

More memories of Mina, but I suppose maybe my world fell to the darkness because of my doing for a reason. Maybe it was the only way to train with Oblivion. Or rather maybe it was the only way I was going to make friends who would except me.

"Cure." Sky raised her Keyblade," Well that's enough drama coming from me for one day I'm exhausted." she stood up testing her leg it wasn't totally cured which was sort of odd but she chose to ignore it. "I hope you don't mind if we continue this chat later." she put her hand forth just itching for this talk to end.

Friends hmm...yeah...maybe

Sora walked up behind sky and smiled under his helmet, "Sky, after what I just herd, you and I need to chat. Raynd go ahead and head back to the arena with chase, i'll catch up." Sora bowed his head to Raynd, then looked at Sky, "As a master, it is my sworn duty to take care of my pupil's, and you seem to be having trouble."

"Hmm...well I guess it's not the first time I've been questioned,"Sky sighed,"but yeah you should go have fun with the heartless for me kay' "

I wonder what he's worried a bout and what does he mean by trouble

"Sora,"she paused,"okay I'm ready. Ready for a talk or even if it ends up to be an interrogation,"she took a deep breath," Yeah I'm ready."

Sky sat back down sat patiently with her legs crossed waiting for master's first speech.

Raynd left to the arena to fight some heartless.

 

Riku went towards the darkness that covered most of twilight town. He was unsure that his pupils would be ready for real danger but if the worked as a team they should be fine.

"Master!" Claire reacted to Riku's arrival, perhaps a little too much. "When we got here, it was like this." She looked back to the mutilated alleys behind her. It felt wrong to lie about all of this. I know who's responsible for this. I've fought him before. I can handle this. But from what she knew, the Master wouldn't be one to let his pupils face something like this. "What do you think we should do?"

 

And the lies began.

 

 

Eckhardt would have laughed, if he had a sense of humor. The man in the black coat slashed down again, the blade of dark energy passing through the Nobody's body, leaving him unscathed. The Black Figure danced back, light on his feet. "That ability." He buzzed. "You called it 'Perfect Defense', correct?"

 

"Nothing can pierce the aegis that protects me." Eckhardt drew the Snowpetal, the sword's blade glistening a pale blue in the radiant sun. "Perhaps... you are the man that Haxus spoke of. You hold the secret to Kingdom Hearts, do you not?"

 

"If you are asking if I know how to open it," the Black Figure's blade vanished as he crossed his arms in front of him. "Then yes. I hold th epower to. But I hold no role in Haxus' plans. And neither will you." He lunged forward, ducking down in anticipation of an attack. None came. Eckhardt planted his left foot into the ground, stamping his right forward. The Figure was thrown back, toppling a few feet before righting himself again. "We're finished here."

 

Eckhardt was about to retort, but somehting had caught his eye. The edges of his coat were slowly deteriorating. "What?! How is that possible?"

 

"I worked out how your 'perfect' defense works." The Figure sauntered forward casually, summoning another energy blade. He slashed down, Eckhardt raising the Snowpetal to block. The sword shattered, the energy blade slicing deeply into his shoulder. With a cry of agony, Eckhardt stumbled back, the Figure advancing. "To your opponent, it seems as though their weapon simply passes through you. But that's far from the truth." He hacked again, catching the Nobody's temple. Eckhardt drew YANA, countering the next blow. The Figure grabbed the sword, twisting Eckhardt's arm before kicking the man back. The sword fell uselessly behind the Figure as he advanced once more. "Your ability allows you to reject the reality of your opponent's strike. In essence, your body opens a path for the blade to pass through automatically, leaving you unscathed. But now that I've given it something else to do..." He reached down, the dark corruption spreading faster up Eckhardt's leg. He cried out, doing so again as the man drove an energy blade into his shoulder. "You're stuck on manual." This close, Eckhardt could barely see under the Figure's hood. He didn't seem entirely human, and yet he bore no sign of corruption form the darkness. What exactly was he?!

 

Weak, feeling the world slip away, Eckhardt struggled to pul himself up onto his elbows. "If you are the messenger..." he said weakly, "then what am I?" The Figure reached back with his left hand, energy forming into a lance.

 

"Nobody." He brought the weapon down onto his opponent.
