Beyond the Door?

I've kind of developed the idea that maybe "The Door" that is continuously mentioned through the series, when it's referred to only as The Door, rather than the Door to Darkness or the Door to Light, could be the door to Kingdom Hearts itself?

I figure that Sora would to be the one to open it, but I'm not sure what to think of that after reading the parts of Xehanorts reports that say

 

"And when Kingdom Hearts is complete, it is said the one who opens its door will bring about the creation of the Next World. Such a feat is above any human. Or, to put it a different way: whoever opens that door will be reborn as something far greater than human."

 

and

 

"And, as stated before, opening this door arguably gives that person control over all worlds and all people."

 

This makes me nervous about what might happen to Sora, if he's the one to open it. What kind of ending will he get if he is "more than human?" And of course, when/if he does open it, it'll be playing "Beyond the Door" in the background. Which doesn't really help me feel any better, what with how that song ends. Hahah!

 

 

 

I'd like to know what anyone else thinks about this. Please comment!

Sora will be fine (the way he acts and the things he's capable of kinda make me doubt he's human anyway lol). But I think what happens when the door opens depends on who's opening it. Like in KH when "Ansem" calls out to Kingdom Hearts the Door to Darkness starts to open and we can see tendrils of darkness leaking out, but when Sora calls out beams of light shoot forth. Since Sora is so kindhearted I think he'll just wish for the worlds to be reconnected like they used to be.

I think the nature of what happens once you open the door to kingdom hearts depends on the person opening it. WHen he says they will be reborn as something new, Xehanort is basically referring to his whole "I'm going ot be a god!!!" thing. Someone pure hearted like Sora...he would probably be alright.

 

The door being referenced there is the door to kingdom hearts. The door to darkness is what they sealed in kingdom hearts one, the door to the light is what they found at teh end of KH2. I feel like in the end, Sora's going to open a door and darkness will be destroyed forever or something. Then another keybalde war, rinse and repeat...'cause people never learn...lol

Sora can't be "more than human." The developers specifically said he was supposed to be your average boy.

Its Sora, there's nothing serious to be worried about when we're talking about the least serious kid in the series.

If the whole depends-on-the-person-thing is true then the worlds might all become reconnected, something I can easily see happening in the series.
