Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted May 26, 2012 Okay, In Aqua's Castle of Dreams scenario she has to protect Jaq the mouse so he set Cinderella free with the bedroom key. Here's what I don't understand. If the Keyblade can open any lock, why didn't Aqua use it to unlock the bedroom door herself? I would have been a lot simpler. 2 Terranort9406 and CardCaptorDeadpool reacted to this

President Yoshi 313 Posted May 26, 2012 lol tru but then whats the fun of that, logic doesn't exist in kingdom hearts, just awesome fighting sentimental ideas and a bad*ss storyline

Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted May 26, 2012 Well there's logic, and then there's KH logic. It may not be realistic but it should at least make sense.

CardCaptorDeadpool 386 Posted May 26, 2012 Sometimes following some details from those Disney movies negates all logic, of course you could argue Aqua completely forgot the Keyblade is the Skeleton key of the universe and protecting Jaq took precedence! deathrebirthsenshi 279 Posted May 26, 2012 I was thinking the same thing but I suppose with unversed flocking towards him, she really had not choice but to fight them off. Also, note that Aqua didn't really know the details of what Jaq was doing--she just knew she had to fight off the unversed and help him. Fairy Godmother was trying ot teach Aqua a lesson--don't fight darkness with light, but fight with your heart, your love for your friends. If she had just gone and done the practical thing and opened the door herself...no lesson learned 1 wayfinder823 reacted to this
Zenithia 305 Posted May 31, 2012 tutti frutti. One of my thoughts is that Eraqus never informed her about the ability to do that. It never crossed her mind to do something like that. Or Nomura likes to keep us questioning things in the series. These have been my common thoughts about that incident.

NamineRose 28 Posted June 3, 2012 It could be like the sonic screwdriver, doesn't work on wood. Or just fails against non-magical items when your not chosen to wield the Kingdom Key. TheOriginalBob 110 Posted June 8, 2012 I think It all comes down to the movie referances. Same could be said for Ventus stuck in the mouse trap.
Ventwig 0 Posted June 9, 2012 Did Ven/Terra open any locks in this game? I actually don't remember....maybe it's a power only Sora got. Or, like others said, she needed an escort mission (which i hate on critical mode )
Nohjx 157 Posted July 14, 2012 the evil stepmother left a note on Jak's back saying "Dear Aqua, This is not actually a lock so don't try using this keyblade. Please entertain this small mouse with reality issues, he thinks it is a lock, Cinderella is in on it too." and Aqua was being a bit gullible.
Kirie 3,489 Posted July 31, 2012 She doesn't want to open it because Jak went through all the trouble of getting the key So she just did the right thing to help him
