I would... probably do it. I do want to get into the gaming industry as a concept artist, but I live in Canada, and only speak english, but I'm really trying to learn French because if I work for a gaming company, it would most likely be Ubisoft Monteal.

A free job? firetruck YES. Is there even a question here? If somebody offers you a job, you take it, unless it's a step down from whatever you're already doing. People would kill for an opportunity to have a decent job.

Seriously, people should be less focused on the fact that it's Square Enix and Nomura, and more on the fact that you were hired out of the blue, most likely under the age of 19, to do a job in a foreign country that usually requires years of education to even have a shot at. That's a pretty freaking sweet deal!

 

To work for Square, I would first have to laugh, then stab myself in the chest, then laugh again.

That's not even the half of it? Did you know Nomura actually makes the entire game himself? It's true! That's why everything in the series is his fault.

He designs characters and scenarios for a few games and automatically has no life? It's called a job.

If it was story writing, then yes.

 

That's not really how it works... you don't just 'write a story' it's a highly collaborative thing. Nomura produces the general scenario,, and seems to have varying say in how that scenario unfolds. Disney has a hand in there to, and then these basic scenarios are made into all of the events that dot the games. Then written in Japanese and translated to English for us to enjoy.

Of course! What die hard KH fan wouldnt love that chance? It would be an absolutely amazing experience, even if you didnt actually work on the game, but was just around to see the process they go through when they go about creating it.
