Meanwhile, Sora,Donald and Goofy redo all the events of the Disney Worlds that they went to in Kingdom Hearts all over again in the form of Memories, both people and things alike, upon completing each World, do Sora,Donald and Goofy encounter strange people in Black Coats, the same worn by the man who led Sora,Donald and Goofy to Castle Oblivion, with Axel being among them, wishing to test Sora's strength while at the very same time, help people named Marluxia,Larxene and Vexen tamper with Sora's progress.

Perhaps but anyways back to Riku's side of things, other Organization XIII members have been seen spotted in the lower basements as well, their names being both Lexaeus and Zexion, members who, like Vexen, are planning to remain with the Organization and stop both Marluxia and Larxene's plans of trying to take it over, using Sora and Namine together, Namine being held hostage by Marluxia and Larxene as well as being forced to use her "Witchcraft" over Memories to alter Sora's memories and trick him into becoming Marluxia's puppet, that way, Marluxia will be able to overthrow Xemnas and take over the Organization as it's new leader.

Vexen was challenged by Marluxia to take care of Sora after the replica failed to do away with him, of which, upon failing to defeat him twice in a row and nearly revealing Roxas's idenity to Sora, did Axel kill Vexen and Sora after having a huge argument with both Donald and Goofy heads out to save Namine by himself, he meets her but confronts the replica a 4th and final time as Sora wonders why Riku hasn't returned to being "Himself" now that Vexen is gone, not realising that the replica is not the real Riku.

No, I hate the card system, too, but at least the story is good. But Days is the worst game in the series. The story AND gameplay sucks.

Axel retreats after getting defeated but shares with Sora that he and him are more alike then they care to admit as Sora believes he,Donald and Goofy killed Axel but nevertheless, do they press on, of which, they reach Marluxia and Namine and Marluxia tries to make Namine erase Sora's Memory and duss, will he become a being similar to that of a Nobody only without a mind at all, however, Namine refuses, seeing as how Sora forgave her and all, with Namine finally standing up to Marluxia, however, Sora wishes for Namine to do it so that way, she will avoid being killed by Marluxia but that Namine can rest assured that even though his Memory maybe destroyed, will Sora be able to piece it back together again thanks to the bonds he has with his friends and duss, that is the Chain of Memories, even though Marluxia thinks otherwise as the Riku replica manages to save Namine and protect her while forcing Marluxia into a corner as Sora,Donald and Goofy begin to fight him.

Riku eventually meets both DiZ and Namine, who reveal their relations to both Sora and Riku himself and that it was DiZ who had saved Riku in the first place by giving him the Key Card that had transported Riku to Castle Oblivion in the first place, while Namine reveals to Riku why she had placed Sora into a deep slumber and that Riku should do the same, should he want to lock up "Ansem" for good, however, Riku, at this point, having accepted the Darkness within his Heart, decides on no, as he wishes to face "Ansem" in combat and claim ownership of Riku's body once and for all, Riku meets up with Mickey and with his help, do they go and confront "Ansem" but not before Riku faces the Riku replica in battle and defeats him, the replica wanting to disappear and return to become a part of Riku, Riku confronts "Ansem" in battle after using a Key Card that DiZ gave him that would bring out "Ansem" from Riku's Heart and materialize him, in the end, the victor is decided, Riku had won, however, "Ansem" assured Riku that he would one day return before finally giving in to Riku and becoming a part of his body, Riku and Mickey, now wearing Organization XIII coats, given to them by DiZ, head out on the Road to Dawn, that would take them on their quest to help Sora regain all of his Memories and wake up, duss, are they heading in the direction of Twilight Town, that will lead Riku to Roxas, with that, Reverse Rebirth is completed and now you know what happens before Kingdom Hearts II :].
