Also, yeah, at first the controls were awkward, but once you get used to them (some people it took a few minutes, I wasn't used to it until I nearly beat the game) you realize how good they are, and it was the best option the 3DS could offer. The only system I bought for a KH game was a PSP and even then I bought a used console The 3DS is a great device and buying it solely for KH seems silly what with all the other great games out there and ones to come in the future.
