Different systems for KH III

Do you think Kingdom Hearts III (or 3) should be on different systems than just the PS3? Even though it hasn't been confirmed what systems it will be on, it will most likely be PS3. I think it should release on Nintendo WiiU, PS3, 3DS, and PSVita. The 3DS is very capable of having amazing graphics, which Dream Drop Distance has shown us, and could be able to have graphics almost as good as PS3. We wouldn't want XBOX360 to ruin the graphics for us. We've all seen how much XBOX can drag the PS3 down, and even the PSVita could drag it down also. As for 3DS, the graphics are pretty amazing, and shure, it can hold a pretty long graphical movie as good as the PS3, but can it run an intire game like that? I think it could with enough time, but we don't want to wait anylonger than we have to. On a side note, I hope they do English voice acting and Japanese voice acting at the same time so we don't spoil everything until our version comes out. I havn't spoiled anything for KH 3D yet, but I don't know if I can hold out that long.

To be honest, I think it should be PS3 exclusive,not because I have a PS3 (i have an Xbox 360 too), but because I think that it'd be easier for the team to work on one system and not worry about limitations of another while working on the game. Then they could use as much of the PS3's power as much as they can.

I can only see PS3 and Wii U. I am not surprised if KH3 will be multiplatform to nintendo since KH is already part of a nintendo product. So, yeah.

 

They will most likely use its Crystal Tools engine so it can speed up the development time and the gameplay might be like Final Fantasy Versus 13 if not close to.

I think KH3 should be on a console system, like the PS3. I mean if you are going to end a saga do it right. Who knows though the rate at which Nomura is working on Final Fantasy vs. we could be looking at a release on the PS4.

Yes really. Now that I think about it, I would like if it was on the 3DS, but I don't want it to take that long.

 

But the 3DS' graphics are worse than the vita. The vita is closer to console quality AND had pretty much all the right controls for an almost PS2/PS3-like experience. But yeah, a numbered title should only be on a console. It wouldn't really be worth much if it was really short too.

PSVitas controls and buttons might be better, but 3DS has some pretty sweet graphics. The 3D effect makes the graphics look better and more realistic.

Uhh, the 3DS is far less less powerful than the Xbox and Vita.

 

While I don't want KH on Xbox for personal reasons, there is no logical reason why it shouldn't be, other than the Xbox not being popular in Japan.

Nope. There is absolutely no way it will be weaker than either of those. Nintendo is not that stupid. PS4 and NextBox will almost certainly be more powerful than WiiU.

 

Though If anyone is expecting the next Sony and Microsoft console to be as far ahead of Nintendo as they were last time, you're kidding yourself.

 

Anyway, I am hoping for a multi-console release on 360 and PS3, so they can get maximum profits, seeing as PS3 is more popular over there, and 360 is more popular over here. A release on WiiU could also be possible, and might actually be more likely than 360. To be honest, I just don't want to get a freaking PS3 to play KHIII, I'd probably just not play it.

 

Also, I find it hilarious that people think that KHIII on PS3 will be too advanced to be on 360. Guys, KH never has been, and never will be a graphically intense series. There is no reason they couldn't do a multi-console release, because all the systems (replacing Wii with WiiU) will be perfectly capable of running a KH game.

I'm sorry. What. The 3DS is DRAMATICALLY weaker than the XBox. The 3DS version would hold back the PS3 version more than a 360 version could even dream to. The 3DS is a little more powerful than the Wii (In certain ways) The 360 is a fair bit worse than the PS3, but walks all over the 3DS.

The PSP is weaker than the PS2, the PS2 is weaker than the Gamecube, which is weaker than the Wii. The Wii is a LOT more powerful than a PS2, and the PSP isn't as powerful as a PS2

Here's a handy timeline of the general power of Sony systems;

PS3 > PSVita > PS2 > PSP > PS1
