Ethan rolled his eyes, not that Black Hulk could see that but still. "Whatever. Calm down. If you don't mind, I would like to speak to your other half?" He asked, as polietly as he could. He wasn't sure what sort of temperament this type of Hulk could take. All the attempts and successes had had completely different personalities in their mutated forms. The only one thing that related them was anger, hate or jealousy. He couldn't be sure what any of his moves would make this Hulk do.

"Actaully, a little of both. I am supposed to find someone named Darcy Lewis. She is a friend of my mother, and lives somewhere in this city, although I cant seem to find where. Maybe someone could help me out with it?" James asked.

Black Hulk smirked, amused. "Fine you can talk to him, if you have something that makes a high pitched noise nothing on earth can hear. Unless your willing to wait till i fall asleep." He said in an amused, almost laughing tone. Black Hulk was hoping the kid didnt have anything that could.

Nathan searched for the name "Darcy Lewis" on the infonet.

"I can help you." the teenage cyborg told James.

He smiled.

"I've got a head for names and locations."

 

Azrael kept an ear on James and Nathan's conversation while he was checking on Bane.

"Hey, Pheonix." he said through his radio to Black Pheonix. "Situation downstairs under control. How are you doing with the big guy?"

"Just fine." Black Phoenix replied into his radio, confidently. He turned on the Black Hulk smiling. "Do I have something that can make a noise so high pitched that nothing on this earth can hear huh? Please! I come from the line of heroes who have trained under Batman and let's just say, we're known for our utility belts." He smirked, pulling out of his belt a small device shaped like an insect and threw into the air where it grew wings and started to fly.

"That little guy's a sonic distributor. Its main purpose is to relay messages in the form of sonic waves, but it can do so much more." The distributor then let out a frequency that didn't affect Ethan at all but brought Black Hulk to his knees.

"Okay, if you say you can help me, then I am much grateful. Darcy used to be my mother's assistent and later moved here to New York." James said.

The Black Hulk screamed in pain and griped his head, slowly changing back into his normal human form. His skin turning to its pale white skin, and his hair turning dirty blond. his clothes are nearly deastroied though... "Ug my head" He said as he stood up, holding his head like it was a million pounds.

Nathan nodded.

"No problem." He said. "I have a few friends there myself I should probably check in on."

He gestured to the door.

"Shall we go?"

 

Azrael sheathed the sword he had been covering Bane with. The super criminal didn't look like he was going to be that much trouble for awhile.

"Phoenix, I'm calling local authorities to take Bane in and an ambulance." He said through his radio. "Bane's still breathing, but I'm not sure for how long if you doesn't get help."

Ethan took up the phone again. "Yeah sure. Hey, I'll call Nightwing and he should be able to sort out Bane for us right now. I'm going to go to one of the Titan Towers and have this guy seen to. I finally got him to transport back, so I'm taking him with me. It's your choice if you want to help out James. But I gotta warn you, children of the Gods can be a handful." He said, laughing before switching off the radio and then calling Nightwing to arrange transportation of Bane and to have an investigation of the trucks he used to get here. Afterwards he turned to the kid. "You want to come with me? I just wanna ask a few questions and stuff. It's okay. We have laws about not being able to arrest those who have alter-egos and aren't in control of themselves and whatnot, so you're not in any trouble or anything."

"I dont get why people think children of the Gods are a handful, we just learned from our parents." James said hearing what Ethan had said. "Anyways, so lets go find her. After you." James said starting to walk behind Nathan.

Nate looked at the person infront of him confused but noded and stood up. "Um....I-I'm Nate Connerson and I'm so sorry for anything my...other side did, jut please don't hurt me or turn me in!" he said shaking from fear and also cold. He isn't to confident in himself and he always felt guilty for anything Black Hulk did.

Nathan nodded.

"Alright then." he said. "Body-slide by two."

After saying the command words, his teleporter system activated and he and James were teleported to an alley in New York.

"Now we are in the right area." he said as he readjusted his coat.

 

{Azrael}

Azrael was a little relieved when Nathan and James left. Witnesses were not always helpful in this line of work. With some emergency supplies he had, he tended to Bane. Knowing that someone would be there soon, Azrael cuffed Bane and left.

"Okay, so where is Darcy?" James asked. He didnt know much about this place, expect what his father told him about in his journey with the other Avengers.

"I told you," Ethan said trying to smile kindly. "I'm not gonna hurt you or turn you in. I just need you to come with me so a couple of friends of mine can look after you and check you out. It's not such a big deal. Here ride on my back." Black Phoenix bent down on one knee and offered for Nate to climb aboard. While he did so, he made sure his little sonic distributor kept around him at all times. Just in case.

Nathan closed his eyes for a moment, then reopened them.

"I have someone by that name living a few streets away." he said.

He pulled out a note book and wrote down an address with an old pencil and handed it to James.

"Here is her address. I'll get you though the streets, but just in case, you now know where to go."

Nathan then headed off down the sidewalk.

"Good. Now we better see her, before Loki can see me. If I am in danger, my father will not be happy about it." James said.

Nathan chuckled.

"If you are anything like your father, he's going to have to get use to it." he replied. "He was something of a danger magnet, being drawn to and drawing danger to himself."

"You know my father, the powerful Thor?" James asked him.

"Yes." Nathan answered. "Though through a vary long and complicated means. Let's just say I knew him a life ago."

"Fair enough, must be a bit weird to see his son and how the same Thor that you knew lives in me. But I dont even know if I want to be a demi-god, I fell like there is something more I can be that is waiting for me here." James said.

Nate nervously got on Ethan's back and held on his shoulders tightly. He tried to stay calm and not be scared, but thats all he could feel at the moment, fear gripping at his heart in vice. He could help but feel as if he is gonna get hurt or tested on.

"You are what the world needs to be." Nathan replied. "I have been a soldier, peacekeeper, villain, savior and on in on because that was what the world needed."

He stopped in front of a building.

"This should be it."

"Well thank you. Hope to see you around soon." James said and then ran into the building. He then knocked on a door and Darcy opened the door. "You must be James, good to see you made it alive." Darcy said. She hasnt changed must except for getting older. "You must be Darcy, my mom told me all about you. Thank you so much for letting me stay with you." James said. "You are welcome, come inside and make yourself settled. Dinner is almost ready." Darcy said and James went inside.

{Nathan}

Nathan watched the building long after James went inside. The son of Thor was worth keeping tabs on and if he was even half the fighter his father was, he'd be useful. Making a mental note to keep an eye on James, Nathan turned and walked away. That business with Bane, Black Hulk, and the members of the Bat family might also be interesting to look into again.

 

{Azrael}

Azrael made it to the Titan Tower and went straight for the computer room. Though he wasn't a member, he had a reserve status in most of the hero teams Batman had a hand in.

Raef sat in a chair and took of his Azrael mask. He rested his head on the head rest and closed his eyes. He'd have to get some more sleep later. After this case was done. He reopened his eyes and started to work on Bane's movements over the last few moments.
