It was a cold, raining night when Nate Connorson was searching for a place to stay, to be alone, so he couldnt hurt anyone. He is slowly losing control over his other side. He finds an abandoned warehouse near the docks in NY. Maybe I can rest in peace here He thought to himself, Not knowing if anyone is nearby.

Bane travels through the night. Pouring rain pounds the ground, as trucks and more trucks travel to a warehouse he had managed to get a hold of. It was located in New York, but Bane had still taken every measure he could think of to escape "The World's Greatest Detective" and all those who had followed in his footsteps that took it as their mission to stop people like him. Bane might have been evil but he was now an ailing man, only kept alive by his addiction 'venom'. The super steroid that gave him his powers and now pushed his heart to keep beating. His life had been taken by venom but now it was the only thing still keeping him alive. He had become obsessed with the stuff and began thinking more and more than the wonders of venom should be shared with the world. He wasn't the first to think so but he may have been the first to think of just giving the stuff away to normal people without anything return except the joy of watching the carnage as the drug took control of their minds, turning them into monsters. He arrived at his warehouse and got out of the van with a smile, "Boys!" He called out to his hired help. "Let's get this stuff unloaded!"

"Man I forgot how fun this was!" James said as he was being summoned to Earth through the teleporter. "Good thing Dad had it rebuilt, otherwise I would be stuck trying to use the alternate way. Now I need to focus, I am going to Earth to try and be a normal student undercover, that way the new dark forces Dad felt would not be able to find me. I wonder if they still have those cherry ice things. Man, those were good." James said. He landed in a place called New York. "Man, what is with this light show? Dont the people here ever sleep?" James asked himself. He walked down a busy sidewalk trying to find the nearest apartment where his mother's friend lived. "Okay, people do you really need to push me, a........simple school kid?" James said trying to not blow his cover as people kept pushing one another to get to where they were going. "Okay forget this. I am just going to hide in that warehouse over there until morning, then I will find my new home." James said and went on top of the roof of the warehouse Bane was in.

 

Loki the 2nd was in New York when he saw James walking through the crowd. "Thats him, but why is he here?" Loki asked himself but walked through the crowd trying to hide in the shadows.

Nate sighed trying to sleep until he heard a voice. "Boys,Let's get this stuff unloaded!" he heard, making him get up and sneak over to the noise, seeing some normal guys puting crates in a truck, and a big, muscular man with tubes of a weird green liquid in them. "What the heck is going on here?" he said softly to himself, until he was grabed and picked off the ground by some guy behind him. "Hey Boss, look what we got here." the men said, as Nate struggled but tried to control his other self .

Bane walked over to see the sight of the trembling boy hiding in his warehouse. After years of killing, he could easily say "Grab him and drown him in the water," without so much as a second of time to pause for compassion or mercy. He knew only too well what children were capable and he wasn't going to let one get away from him by keeping him alive. Besides, a small boy hiding out in an abandoned warehouse. He was nothing more than a waste of oxygen. He watched as his men picked up the boy and forced him under the water, head and all.

Nate struggled and shook and tried to get air, but couldnt, water rushed into his lungs, making him panic, his heart beating fast, he couldnt stop himself from changing now. His body started to shaking and get bigger, his skin turn night black and his hair too, he grabed the man who was drowning him and threw him far into the water and jumps out himself. "GRAAAAHHRR" He roared, mad as hell itself. He ran at Bane and tackled him to the warehouses wall, and started to bring the beat down to Bane. "Drown me will you?! We will see if you have the strength!" he said his voice deeper and more menicing.

James watched the man turn into a big black monster. "Really, another Banner? Okay, I guess I better keep quit before........." James idenctly fell over when Bane was pushed against the wall. James fell down right where they could see him. "S***" Jame said under his breath.

{Azrael}

Azrael face palmed. He had been sent to New York to keep an eye on and possible stop Bane. Now, some metahuman was fighting Bane. Rafe drew his hand down his his mask like it was his face.

"Well, looks like just watching is out." he commented to himself.

He moved along the roof top he was on till he was over looking an alley. He used parts on a fire escape, windows, and gutters to control his descent to the ground. Landing on his feet, he cracked his neck and headed towards the fight. He didn't draw his swords. Not yet. He walked into the building to get a better look at things.

 

{Dayspring}

Nate Dayspring jerked awake as he heard a crash from the next door warehouse. His soldier's instincts kicked in and he rolled off his bed and into a crouched, ready position. His mind used his connection to the Infonet to check for transmission from next door to explain the hit. Nothing. He growled and grabbed his coat. If he hated things that didn't pop up on the infonet. Know he would have to check on it.

Black Phoenix landed beside Azarel. "So, how's it looking?" He asked his partner for this mission. He peered down into the darkness where Bane was fighting what seemed to be a slightly smaller and black version of The Incredible Hulk. That wasn't a person he was completely familiar with. He was involved with other heroes, but this couldn't have been the same guy. Was it possible for Hulk to have taken on an apprentice? No, what was more likely that somebody, similarly to himself, had discovered the secrets of their idol and had attempted to copy them. "Should we go down and help?"

Black hulk picked Bane up off the ground and jumped high into the air then slamed him into the ground, causing a crater to form. He then grabed Banes Neck and threw him innto the very truck full of his precous drug. Then he stopped and looked at the boy who fell right where both he and Bane could see, and walked to him and stopped infront of him. "What you doing here kid? get somewhere safe before you get hurt." He said, his voice showing power and authority.

James got off the ground. "Kid? Me, a powerful demi-god? Oh no, I could never get truely hurt, I would have survived that landed if I did. Now the better question is, you are not a bad guy?" James asked.

{Azrael}

Azrael shrugged.

"Don't know." He admitted. "Your lead on this. I'm just the back up in case things got too harry."

His right hand came to rest on one of his swords.

"I can probably take Bane of the hulk guy one on one, but I'm not too sure about me versus both of them."

He took in a deep breath.

"Either way, your call. I got your back."

 

{Dayspring}

Nathan shrugged on his long coat as he raced down the steps of the old apartment building he was using as a home. The sounds of battle were getting louder. He exited his building through a door in the alley between the two buildings. He ran over to a door in the alley that belonged to the warehouse.

He wished he had the body of a full grown adult and not a teenager in this case. People didn't tend to fear him as much as they use to. He flung the door open and stepped in to see the fight.

"Hm, good or bad, really i go my own way" was all he could say before Bane tackled him and slamed into the warehouse wall. He struggled, but couldnt get out of Bane's grip, so he consentrated on a shadow, and made a pistol slowly come out of it, the pistol was just the right size for the Black Hulk's fingers and hand, so he grabs the gun and shoots Bane's foot, then elbowing Bane in the stomach and throwing him into the warehouse through the wall. "i dont care if you think your a god kid, get out of her or else."

"I dont just think that I am a god kid, I know I am. My father happens to be the same god who helped Hulk when Loki threatened this world, Thor is my father." James said. He the summoned his hammer and lifted it into the air as lightning blasted from it. "And I believe I can hold my ground." James threw the hammer at Bane.

Bane realised only too late that the ravages of time had taken their toil. While his strength may have certainly increased, due to the constant use of venom. He was no longer as agile or as quick witted as he once was. There was nothing he could do but be completely taken out by the two youths. He collapsed to the ground, defeated. All of his minions had already run off scared. They hadn't expected anything like this. And now, with electricity running through his veins, he knew he didn't have long left. He had wished for a better death but he got what he deserved in the end. He should have quit years ago, like many other villains who left their work to their apprentices and disciples. Oh well, it looked like he wouldn't be able to continue his plan,but at the very least he had succeeded in bringing suspicion to himself and not a small weedy boy who was going to a summer camp, while many others of his age. All of them about to chock full and hooked on the wonders of venom.

 

Black Phoenix didn't have long to make the decision after he seemed Bane had taken his last breath. "Come on. Quickly. We need to stop this before it gets out of hand. Two apprentices of the avengers on one night? What are the odds?"

Black Hulk looked at the boy amazed but smirked. "Nice shot" Is all he said before jumping extremly high into the sky and moving awayv from the scene, knowing that if the cops werent at the scene soon, the militry would be .

Azrael nodded and moved in. When Black Hulk leaped away, Azrael took up a position between Bane and James. Both of his swords were out in a flash, both burning bright. One pointed at Bane's throat, the other pointed at James.

"Enough." He said in a low, commanding tone. "We will learn nothing if he is dead."

"I'd listen to him, James." Nathan said, coming fully into the warehouse.

He walked over beside the young Asgardian.

"His mentor isn't really know for the best team spirit."

Nathan looked over at Black Phoenix.

"Yet they always seem to come in pairs."

Azrael eyed Nathan.

"Plan to make trouble?" The armored agent asked.

"No." Nathan replied. "Just making sure things don't get out of hand."

Azrael nodded to Nathan, and lowered his blade pointing at James a little.

"And you?" he asked James.

While Azarael had jumped down to James, Ethan went after the Black Hulk. Even if he could jump long distances, he was slow in comparison to Ethan's own flight abilities, which came from two wings made of an alien metalic substance, similar, he believed to the same stuff that made the 'Blue Beetle wings'. "Oi!" Ethan shouted at the Black Hulk. "Please stop and calm down. I just want to talk!"

The Black hulk glared at the man with wings and landed on the ground and skid across a grassy plain, he had gotten far away from NYC in under 20minutes. "What do you want?" he said, crossing his arms and tapping his foot impasiontly, Nate would be extremly patient if he was out, but he can only come out from the Black hulk if it falls asleep or a high pitched noise, higher then anything on earth could hear, was being played.

[Critter 8]

Tom did his usual scout of the city, scouring for any signs of criminal activity, until he noticed a strange electrical surge happening at an abandoned warehouse. He flew in his metallic bat suit toward the site and looked to find a group of odd people. And lying on the ground was none other than one of the ruthless villains in Gotham City - Bane. Figuring that they were the ones who apprehended him, he moved in to see who they were.

"I see Bane is on the verge of dying. Who are you people?"

James looked at all the people. "All I want is to go to my new home to start my new normal life here on Earth to hide from, what my father believes to be, Loki, or some form of him." James said getting his hammer back into his hand.

"I want to know more about you," Black Phoenix said. "You're not a registered hero or even a villain as far as I'm aware. So what? Are you new in town and thought you'd kill a guy? We don't do that...usually. We could have got information out of Bane. Me and Nightwing have been thinking he was up to something big and now you and that idiotic demi-god have messed up our surveillance. If Bane is still alive, he's lucky to be. So I need to know. Who are you?"

Black Hulk grunted with an annoyed look thinking "Who is this guy trying to tell me what to do?!" "Im Black Hulk and I don't like being told what to do, I'll do as i please, and that Bane guy shouldn't have tried to kill my other half. If he didn't try to drown him, I wouldn't have needed to fight him. Bet you didn't see that part did you?" he said im a pissed off but serious voice .

Azrael eyed James a moment longer then sheathed the sword he had been pointing at the son of Thor.

"All right." He said. "In that case, you'd better go."

Azrael knelt down to check on Bane.

"Do you have a place to hide already or are you still looking?" Nathan asked James.
