KH3D Critical mode? (Possible spoilers)

Recommended Posts

Hey guys. I am just posting to say that i heard that there was a critical mode? if its true, has anyone played it yet? If they have could it be possible to tell us what extra goodies we get this time? lol

-is it possible to do a level 1 challenge with it? (gain zero exp or something at the start)

-is it the typical "half hp", "half damage given" and "double damage received"

-Do you keep your dream eaters from the last save file you did? and if so, do they gain extra abilitys at the start?

-Does critical unlock any extra info, or anything? doesn't need to be cannon?

Mainly i want to see if critical mode is true and what it yields for sora and rikus journey

I don't know if this has already been posted or asked, if so, could you please direct me to the fourm, and just shut this one down :)

Thank you. Speak to you soon :D

There is Zero EXP. With it you can play whole game on level 1.

But people said this game is really hard... I want this game now!

woop! zero exp!. yeah i heard its hard even on proud mode....critical mode....OMFG....i am with you....please let it be the 20th asap....xD.

also i like the idea where you play proud mode first......THEN you play critical after you beat it :D

It seems like only Sora and Riku can get Zero EXP. Dream Eaters get EXPs and levels.

I'm going to play this first on Proud. Then Standard, with No Damage(I'm not gonna make it xD) and then Critical :D

hmm, i don't get your play style already :PxD, i like going stright on the hardest mode i can. then make it harder. i mean i like doing a normal no damage critical......because if we can do that with any level, then level 1 will be a synch lol.

But anyway proud then critical for me...unless critical is TOO hard then ill go back to proud and hone my skills/dodging abilitys etc (basically practice) xD

I've just started a new game, but on normal mode

because I've already finished the game I'm able to use a "new game +"

the new game takes over:

-Story

-Characters

-Glossary

-Spirits

-Trophies

-Secret Ending (if unlocked before)

there is a new game +

believe me

you can save your game after finished the story and then you can re-battle the bosses etc

and when you start a new game it asks you if you would like to take over the previous data (Spirits, Trophies etc)

and you have to use the data if you want to have 100% Trophies or 100% game

because you have to beat the game on proud mode and critical to be able to get all Trophies etc

Based on KH2 Final Mix, Critical Mode gives you some abilities including Zero EXP. It affects all characters, but I don't know if that will apply to Dream Eaters like it affected to Donald and Goofy. Also, you can choose to turn it on or out.

Critical Mode usually lets unlock the Secret Ending just by finishing the game, or less achievments, since in Proud Mode you have to get 100% completion of the Journal.

It reduces your HP, that's why the name Critical Mode

I'm not sure, but I think it gives you more Stg, since when I played and I got Lvl99, it seemed easier to kill bosses, but that's not confirmed...

Remember: This information is based on KH2FM, so I don't if it works directly to KH3D

I don't play on critical, but I think it's like in KHIIFM

but that you can carry over your Spirits (and recipes) let you have good commands and many status boosts really fast that can help a lot !

so you don't need the level from your previous save

btw...zero exp is also available on proud mode

not only critical
