A mystery 346 Posted May 8, 2012 I don't have an accent. <_< However, I love to listen to people, who do have an accent. I figure some of you have an accent because we come from all around the world.
Sammi 63 Posted May 8, 2012 I have a South African accent - but sometimes I sound American, due to watching so many cartoons as a kid.
Miminezz 76 Posted May 8, 2012 When I speak Spanish, I have a northern accent since I was born in Mexicali which is Northern Baja California. But otherwise...um, does having a SoCal accent count?

oathkeeper89 17 Posted May 8, 2012 accent hmm.... nope dont have one. i agree accents are pretty cool.while i was growing up all the kids around me had accents but i didnt but i think it was because my parents stuck to simply speaking one language around me and my siblings mostly english but thats just my theory. Think Pink 1,967 Posted May 8, 2012 (edited) I have an american east coast accent... my "R"`s are exagerated for example how aRRRe you? I live on the east coast and I've never heard anyone do that It's probably a certain area where you live, not the entire east coast. That's not an east coast trait. It sounds like a couple of different places. I was born in Texas and I've still got the accent, though I can cover it up when I feel like it. I didn't really notice my accent until I moved. Flex 8 Posted May 8, 2012 I have a Dutch accent. When I speak English, its like a mix of American/(a little) Dutch. It sounds kinda derpish. :>

Aru Akise 2,540 Posted May 8, 2012 I'm brasilian, that alone can make me have an accent. I speak lots more Japanese than English, that has influenced my Portuguese accent. Therefore, I have a brasilian-japanese accent when speaking English. I can also speak using italian accent for playing too much Assassin's Creed as Ezio. Confusing, eh? Spiney 125 Posted May 8, 2012 (edited) I have an american accent. Haha My father is from the middle east, so he has somewhat of an accent too. However, I can't hear it b/c I am so used to him speaking, lol. Edited May 8, 2012 by Spiney
The One Truth 48 Posted May 8, 2012 (edited) Well I guess American, and a bit urban since I lived in the kind of a hood area. Ah firetruck it I'll just say I sound black. (which I am) Edited May 8, 2012 by The One Truth
An Arzour 17 Posted May 8, 2012 I'm french, so I obviously have an accent when speaking english. But strangely, since I'm trying to avoid stereotypical mistakes like "zere iz a cat in ze tree", an american guy once told me that my english sounds german http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png (he's not the one to talk anyway, his french sounds like a weird mix or american and belgian accent)
Oishii 3,987 Posted May 8, 2012 I have an American accent. I used to have a spanish/guarani accent but that has gone away after living in the country so long. And Japanese people I've met say my accent isn't very heavy when I speak Japanese ^^
