Skai 3,961 Posted May 6, 2012 So Seven Guardians of Light and Thirteen Seekers of Darkness. I know there are countless threads of this already. But Xehanort says the 13 seekers and the 7 guardians will fight to forge the X-Blade once again. The X-Blade is the counterpart to Kingdom Hearts that can protect it as well as unlock it by itself. But according to Yen Sid, no one really knows of this. So back to the point, the X-Blade was split into 7 princesses of heart. So if the 7 Guardians are: Sora Riku Mickey Lea Aqua Ven Kairi (Some are debatable, but let's focus on Kairi) If Kairi is a Guardian of Light, but as well as a princess, the battle would make more sense. In my opinion, the Princesses of Heart will probably lend their powers (from the original X-Blade) to their "Guardians" and in a sense, evening out the battle. Then figuratively, it would be like a 13 vs 13 battle. Of course, since Kairi is a princess of heart, she doesn't need the extra power given by the Princess of Hearts. So she herself would have the power of a Guardian as Well as a fragment of the X-Blade. I think this is what Nomura was doing, because 7 and 13 are huge motifs in the story. And it would only make sense if he did something like this.

Imoore4 687 Posted May 6, 2012 It's amazing how much people get into the story http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/happy.png
Skai 3,961 Posted May 6, 2012 that actually kinda made sense Well, in all honesty, if the 7 fought against the 13, I don't even think it would have been close, without extra help. 1 Khrulesbbs reacted to this

Skai 3,961 Posted May 7, 2012 Pretty intense. This is also how I though it might play out. Well, a lot of people are saying Kairi isn't a Guardian, but this is a theory that well supports her being both.
Shazzam 142 Posted May 7, 2012 I hope Kairi is a guardian, she's in need of some more development. Plus being a Princess of Heart, a Keyblade Weilder, and a Guardian of Light would upgrade her to BOSS status. 1 Kello reacted to this

Also, I think it will be just explained that some have already been gathered and we will probably start KH3 midway through gathering all of them. Smithee 327 Posted May 8, 2012 (edited) Terra had better not turn out to be one of the 13. Otherwise, all that talk in Blank Points about "showing Xehanort the door" and "Eraqus setting foot into Terra's heart" would be completely pointless. It'd make one more mistery.
