THE NEW AVENGERS: A DARKNESS IN THE LIGHT

The lab was in a place so dusty it was unbelievable The old Avengers mansion was a mess except for one part of a lower floor. Triva hummed slipping through the door before continuing on through the dusty place. Going for a hole in the ground she jumped down about a good twenty to forty feet down before appearing in a rather clean area with various computers and equipment scatter neatly around the place as she went to the nearest computer screen with a vital monitor of Ace while she looked slightly confused by the reading. "High but I thought he said he wasn't going to get into any fights? Guess I should hook up now........." Triva mumbled before she started typing things into one computer.

Ace was now more ticked then scared right now as looked toward a thief trying in a soon to be vain attempt to steal Aces backpack while the kid glared. ""Now why don't you give that up and no one will get hurt?" Aces face turned into a smirk when the guy ran at him. The guy swiped at Ace only to miss as Ace pushed the thief to the ground before sticking out his tongue. "Missed me sucker!" Then he ran before the guy could even get up. "I think you're an idiot Ace." He growled again when he turned left at a corner before slowing to a walk. "I invented you so quit it now Triva."

Ultron landed outside the Avengers Mansion. Her memory banks had it a bit more grand then it was now, but she chalked that up to nostalgia. Another odd thing she had picked up.

As she approached the door, her sensors told her of two mobile power sources. They seemed to be fighting each other. Her curiosity piqued, Ultron entered the Mansion and headed toward the power sources.

Triva laughed as Ace growled more through the headset. "Not a good enough threat to me you should know that Ace. Anyways oh good god there's another robot here." She freaked slightly as she removed a cord from her now completely metallic body that glowed with blue lines. "Got to go Ace got see who it is scratch that........." "What is it and i'll be there soon just hold on and make sure the Black Nightmare armor is already done with updates and programming for the new system Triva." Triva quickly went and grabbed a small pistol before pointing in the direction Ultron was coming from as the android a few seconds before Ultron came into had her appearance adjust to the blonde girl she previously had. "Who's there?!" She was in the sense slightly freaked out as she held the pistol for a headshot if it would stand a chance against Ultron.

Ultron stopped and looked at Triva.

"If you are attempting to fool me by playing little girl, then you need to recalculate your strategy." She said in a neutral tone. "The likely hood of that facade being true dropped into the decimal places after sensing the battle that had be transpiring."

Ultron crossed her arms and gave Triva a calculating gaze.

"Since your question does come from a genuine desire for knowledge in that field, I shall answer it. My name is Ultron. If you wish, I can give my model number, but it will mean little to you. What is your name?"

Triva still held the pistol as she let her arm drop to its side as her expression went blank for a slight second before she popped up with yet another question. "But all of the Ultron's should be gone they where destroyed I believe if this is correct." Her mouth shut for a second as she looked at another monitor. She tapped her headset before speaking into the headpiece. "Hey Acey you won't believe this one and I don't think you'll like coming here if this machine has any memory of Tony Stark." The line went dead for a second before Ace spoke. "What machine are you talking about?" "Remember the stuff on Ultron.........." "Keep out of the models then and get all of the armor and info files off for me. Personal information doesn't get spilled on me okay." "Got it Ace." She then turned back to Ultron before sighing. "There was no battle. It was me arguing with Ace. I am Triva a personal android created by the guy you just heard to monitor all systems and do things he requests." She stared for a second before turning around as she started doing what Ace had asked after the gun was put down on a table.

Ultron raised an eyebrow. How could her sensors be wrong? This was one of the combatants. What was...

Ultron went into a roll as a robot came from the wall and blasted were she had been standing with a energy pulse. She came up in a crouch and raised a fisted hand at the robot. A beam of energy that flashed green blasted from Ultron's fist and hit the robot, scrapping it.

Ultron stood up.

"My apologies." She over her shoulder to Triva. "My presence seems to have activated some remaining security protocols. You should be considered a target as long as you do nothing hostile."

Ultron started walking further into the Mansion.

"Once I am done with the computers, you main have free reign over what remains."

"Wrong way. The reason why he wanted me to put up stuff was because everything that was still working was inputted into the privet server we in these things. We went through every damn thing to get as much as I was able to scan through. Ace is going to be ticked about the robot though. Well at least that's one less thing to exterminate- Hey speaking of him." She ran toward the hole before shouting. "Can't hit me Ace!" A piece of metal came speeding at Triva as she ducked making it miss. "You can't hit me no matter what you try. What kind of inventor makes there machine better than them?" She started laughing before Ace came up in front of her as he held up his watch before pressing one button as Triva started twitching before she glared. "Cheater that's no far to use the controls!" She kept jerking as glared before shutting off completely when her metallic body slumped onto the ground. Ace looked at Ultron before glaring. "You shouldn't be here." He reached toward his bag ready to fight.

"Incorrect." Ultron said, turning to face Ace. "I seek knowledge to better serve as a protector of the sentient population of this world. The Avengers could have files I could use to better deal with threats and/or possible allies."

She narrowed her eyes at Ace.

"If you wish to fight, then I shall use only the force necessary to keep you at bay till I get what I came for. This is a poor use of our time. If you have found anything of anything of interest, I would like to see it. I am prepared to offer you any knowledge I can give in return. Is this arrangement satisfactory?"

Ace listened but continued to glare as he slipped on the armor all of the way before growling. In almost a instant the armor was on him while he cracked his knuckles before facing Ultron. "The Avengers are gone all of them. I know for a personal fact. It's 2067 they have been gone for a good time now Ultron. For the most part I don't trust machines like you. I don't trust Triva much either." His voice was like venom before he then charged launched his fist into Ultron's head before growling again. "Mainly things that know a lot about Tony Stark!" He was ticked. One thing after another and Ultron picked a bad moment to try and come as he started punching quickly aiming for the head each time he did so with a surprising amount of anger.

-Somrene

A wall of flame interrupted a punch between the robot, and the guy in a suit. "Hold it now. I think we have a mild misunderstanding here. Why don't we all calm down and have a nice talk while roasting marshmallows over a campfire." Somrene said, walking out from behind a nearby column. He produced a small fire on the floor and took out a bag of marshmallows from underneath his jacket. He always kept some marshmallows around for diplomatic situations. Somrene tossed the bag to "Iron Man" and took a seat.

 

-Neena

Neena relaxed on a bar seat, anxious to see the outcome of the fight. She had been planning to challenge Werewolf next, but if someone else was brave enough, than she was interested.

Werewolf punched Bio, sending him into the wall of the cage. "Your reputation proceeds you, you're tougher than i estimated." said Bio.

 

"Well, then there's a lot you need to learn." said Werewolf as a bruise on the left side of his face from Bio healed somehow.

Triva finally game back to life as she stared at what was happening from her little spot on the floor before mumbling, "I'm gonna have to clean this all up. Why do things or people keep coming here today?" She sighed before grabbing the pistol as got turned so it was pointing at Somrene. "Will you just leave already? Before I have to do somethings I might regret later on......?" Ace ticked as well stopped but said nothing as he silently thought of what to do next. He was sicked off all the people and hadn't been much of a fan of crowds as it was. This right there was annoying very annoying as he quickly began looking at things about Somrene before finding out something that perked his interest. "Interesting. Very interesting little bit of info on you Somrene. Why the hell are you here then I don't have the best history? They wouldn't exactly like someone like me." He spoke a glare under the helmet before it all vanished where he could glare at Somrene and actually be seen where Triva quickly slipped off his backpack before tossing it on a table but she still held her gun just in case of any situations that could happen right now.

Ultron, unharmed by Ace's attacks, stood still, gazing intently at him.

"I hope that emotional display let off some 'steam'." She said. "Because I have little time for organics who can not control themselves."

She turned her head to look at Somrene.

"An excellent piece of timing. Things would have not gone well if you had not intervened."

Ultron turned her gaze back to Ace.

"What the Avengers left behind is of interest to us all. If you wish privacy in your search, you can either wait for us to be done and leave or negotiate for us to wait till you are done."

She choice a spot and sat near the fire, the flames reflected off her metallic skin.

"I am content to wait till you are done."

Ace glared still before he spoke again this time venom dripped off his voice. "I want nothing to do with the Avengers. They caused me to come into existence and I hate it." He kept standing as he continued to glare with his blue eyes focused on both Ultron and Somrene. Triva spoke up this time asking shyly her question. "Do you want a reasonable Ace who might actually listen what you have to say? I can help with that if you want." Her voice was quieter than it normally was a little nervous around of the people that where now there. The pistol still remained in her hand because of this when she started asking things before she turned going after a small box as she waited for answer to decide if she should open it or not.

Ultron continued to gaze into the fire.

"That would be preferable." She replied to Triva. "Though do nothing that would endanger your own existence. I am equipped with self repair units in case of damage."

"Nah he wouldn't ever really turn me into scrap metal. I've been here for tn years if it counts for anything with this guy." She had a smirk on her face as she grabbed something from the box before taking the shot that she had pulled out and almost instantly put it in Ace's shoulder before he hissed. "Triva just wait......" He mumbled before throwing the shot right next to Triva's ear where her mouth opened gaping. "I forgot how good your aim was when you high...." Ace's face turned dull as he spoke to her. "You're really lucky that I am high." "Not my fault that your Bi-polar and have anger issues and anything else that goes with this little group of problems." She snickered when Ace sighed before turning to Ultron and Semrene as he crossed his arms. "Thirty minutes before I go back to trying to kick both of you out. Start yapping or I start cutting time down so I can get you away from me."

Zander got fixed up nice and quickly when the operator of his headset gave him a new mission, try to recruit new members. Zander agreed then transported to this bar where they held fights. Zander saw these people going at it who obviously had "gifts" Zander didn't want to do anything yet so he sat at the bar where a girl was sitting. Zander sat next to her and watched the fight. He glanced at the girl and saw she was quite caught into the match and quite intrigued by it. Zander kept an eye on her just in case she had powers.

 

Zander watched the fight which kind of made him think of the old fights he was in back in high school

Bio threw Werewolf against the wall of the cage this time, and had a smirk on his face. "Well, i guess you're not as tough as people......" said Bio before he got tackled by Werewolf.

 

"Guess you forgot rule number one, never let your guard down." said Werewolf as he used a suplex on Bio.

 

Bio got up soon after, and looked towards two people nearby, he the concentrated on the guy. "Hey you, put a 20 on me to win." said Bio.

"I don't bet on fights, I win them" Zander said shocked by the words that came out, he didn't know where it came from but it may have had to do with how he would get jumped at school continuously. He was so glad to be out but he guessed it had to do with him and his mission to recruit them. This guy also caught Zander's attention due to the suit of armor he had, and his opponents brute strength. These guys would be great for the team, if they accepted.

Before the fight reached the end, Werewolf's previous oppenent burst into the ring with a pocket knife in his hand, saying that Werewolf was cheating as no one take beating like that without a mark to show for it. "Listen bub, you lost your money, keep this up and you'll lose something else." said Werewolf, but the guy didn't listen and ran at Werewolf, stabbing him in the gut and pulling out the knife. Werewolf held the guy to a cage wall and extended 2 adamantium claws and slowly extending the third, stopping just short of the guys neck, and as he did, the stabb wound was slowly closing and healing, much to the awe of the crowd.

 

Bio was wide eyed and jaw dropped at the sight. "I didn't see that coming." said Bio.

Zander threw his drink down did a transporting tackle knocking Werewolf down and then pulled the guy away and transported out of the cage. This all took a total of 5 seconds due to Zander's transportation. Zander had the guy outside and let go as he ran away scared. Zander transported back to the bar and looked at the two in the cage. Zander took a sip of his drink then transported inside the cage. "Hello fellas, I have a... proposition for you" Zander said walking in a circle of the ring

"Was that tackle really nessessary, bub, i was only gonna scare the guy." said Werewolf.

 

Bio looked curiously at Zander. "What kind of proposition?" asked Bio.

"My bad dude but better safe then sorry. And this proposition would call you to use your talents for good. Help save the world from pending wars and destruction. Yeah it sounds cheezey but hey its a legit program. Also it clears a guilty conscience to an extent." Zander said letting out a little sigh if you guys could join it would help us out alot" Zander said ready just incase they didn't like the good guy idea

-Somrene

Somrene glared at him. He wasn't sure why, but this guy obviously didn't want to calm down very much. "I'm here because I felt like coming. 'Nough said." Somrene spoke to the man. Truly, he had come because he had felt a strong.... need to come here. These people were obviously linked to his fate. Be them good or bad, maybe staying near them would be a good idea.

Ace kept up his glare while his fist tightened before he spoke with venom again. "You're in S.U.P.E.R.S are you Somrene? More of a reason for me to get ticked off at this moment." He was twitching unable to keep still with the tension and anger around him as he glared daggers in Somrene's direction still very uncertain of what to make of the little events happening. Uncertainty always made him like this and Ultron being there didn't help anyone as he turned around and motioned toward Triva who almost instantly came over to him. He whispered a few words to her before she nodded and ran out of the room before he returned to glaring Somrene's direction. "Do you know what I really am?" His tone was serious as his glare turned to a focused and dull expression. He wasn't going to fool around now that he had asked that one question.
