Best KH battle system

For me it was KH2. I just loved the drive forms and the reaction commands, although I didn't like the magic for it that much. I just used Curaga and reflega mostly.KH BBS made the magic way better, but I still like KH2's battle system more. I might change my mind though because i'm really interested in KH3D's free flow action. KH3D looks like it has a awesome battle system and I can't wait to try it out.

it was a tough choice between kingdom hearts 2 and bbs. i ultimately chose bbs.

kh bbs was by far the best, it was fast... the d-links help ALOT and idk but it was just damn right awesome...

Ohhhh...... It is soooooo hard. KH 2 had Reversal and Drive Forms, but BBS had D-Links. I say, it's a tie.

KH2 was a huge improvement over KH1 in gameplay, but i have to go with BbS... Deck Commands, Shotlocks, Command Styles, and D-Links are just the best right now. I'm not judging based on how much skill is needed to play, but how much fun i have when i do.

If I had to choose, I would say Kingdom Hearts 2. But, if you used everything you had in Kingdom Hearts 2 made them a little better by adding new magic, summons and maybe a new drive or recreated forms of the already existing drives and added another section for physical attacks instead of just 'attack' like the ones you get in KHBBS. Then that would be the perfect battle system for three.

KH 3D looks good, but I haven't played it yet, so that's not my answer.

 

I loved Drives, but BBS is my favorite.the Decks combined RPG and adventure in a flawless way, and there was an endless combination of ways to play. The commands let the player move like some of the bosses, and were the best part. Also the variation between Ven, Aqua, and Terra was amazing.

Kingdom Hearts 3D has the best battle system so far in my opinion. I have the game and the free flow action is so fricken fun.

 

Everything @Sky Heart said is true, even the mention of Reaction Commands. (which surprised me that they were in this game)

I like KH2's gameplay the best so far, then BBS. I would've picked KH3D, but I haven't played it yet. Not till July 31. I'm sure that Kh3D will have the best battle system yet

BbS and KH2. I voted BbS though...

I loved the idea of melding commands,command forms,finish commands, shotlock, everything! Maybe because it was not only super fun! But because so far no other game has had the same idea of commands. As for KH2, I really enjoyed drive forms, I loved all the new abilities that could be unlocked. I didn't use too much limits though.

I like the battle systum in days. Its pretty fun to set up panels and chalanging too

 

Also, the magic is kinda fun to cast in that game. You really gotta think on how to get it to work and stuff....its awesome.

 

Lots of stratagizing and reflex testing in this one makes it a winner to me~

I prefer Kingdom Heart's 2's gameplay, because it was really balanced and simple enough to use, but complex and deep enough to make me want to keep expanding on Sora's abilities.  I loved the Drive Forms, which is something that I wish would come back for Kingdom Hearts 3, and I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one who thinks the same way! I also liked the Summoning.  It was a spectacle to behold, and I also wish that summons could make a return as well.  But what I also loved the most were the Reaction Commands, as they made combat even more fun!
