KH3D *Spoilers* An explanation

Many people are wondering where Young Xehanort came from or why Xigbar and Saix are part of the 13 and not Braig and Isa due to translation thanks to KHInsider of a scene( TWTNW Part 10) helps explain it. When they go back in time they will no longer have memories of what took place so there is going to be less than 13 darknesses ( Young Xehanort is Master Xehanort from earlier in life) Ansem SOD and Xemnas were defeated. 2 others will have died or something (Sora was meant to be the 13th) so that it is 7 vs 7 unless something weird happens and they all came back.

I think there was too much forshadowing in DDD of the 7 lights and 13 SoD/darknesses (that Master Xehanort put parts of his heart in) for the members of the new organization that was formed in DDD to not come back for the final battle despite the time inconsistencys/ Plus, Nomura could always make it so they regain their memorys of what actually happened temporarily for the battle, only to have them return to their original times yet again later and forget what happened again.

 

But then again, I suppose that does leave the question of where the 13th darkness chosen by destiny will come from, seeing as how Lea put a end to those plans for Sora to be the 13th.

It has to be 13 darknesses vs 7 lights for the x blade to be forged so it's highly likely that they'll all return. Nomura would'n't of done all this if he wasn't going to have them come back. It would make the 13 darknesses pointless.

It'll be someone very unexpected its totally gonna be Tidus from destiny islands. Whoever it is though will be important the 13th Darkness and 13 is an unlucky number but I can't think of anyone who it could be who is important enough to take a position in the new organisation.

But, he's a supporting role. Not a main character. orz

 

Like that battle in Hollow Bastion. Final Fantasy characters helped out clear a path for the 1,000 heartless battle. OTL
