Rise of the Dragon Warriors (RP)

Luke was in the counsil room thinking about his next strategy. he had gone through every battle formation he could think of until he finally found the one he would use. "Warrion, would you please summon Zander here?" asked Luke.

 

"As you command sir." said Warrion as he left the room to find Zander.

Zander was outside with Tierrafuego and was stroking his scaly back. Zander looked down at his his green dragon scaled arm and sighed, he didn't like being like this because it made things harder. He can't really feel things that are soft unless he touches it with a not scaly part of his body. His hands come in handy but they are also a slight burden from being normal.

 

Zander then saw Warrion looking for him. Zander went to him and was informed to go see Luke. Zander nodded and then spread his wings out and flew off. He got to the council room and walked into Luke's presence. "You summoned me?" Zander asked

"Ah Zander, i have a small mission for you, i need you to head out and find as many of our scouts as you can, we'll need them to spy on the Eaglorians, i fear they will make their move soon." said Luke.

 

Warrion then arrived at the council room. "Are you sure sir?" asked Warrion.

 

"I'm almost 500, with my expirience, i know they will attack soon." said Luke.

Zander nodded accepting his mission but he was confused on how it was going to go down and how he would find them, he dind't know any of the scouts he was new to the whole resistance thing

 

"Alright I can do that, but which scouts am I looking for and where do i find them?" Zander asked

"As my father said over 400 years ago, you must use your instincts, in time, you will know where to look.....take Warrion with you, he'll guide you along, and a mage is always handy in a fight." said Luke.

Jadelin wandered through the town, fighting crowds to get outside of her hometown. She ground her teeth, shoving past a group of people her own age, and they shot nasty looks at her. Whatever, I just need to get out. Finally, she was at the outskirts, where no one would be there to stop her from leaving. Checking to make sure no one was around, she transformed herself into a dragon. THe feeling was odd, growing of her limbs, growing jade-green scales over her ivory skin. Checking once more, she flew off into the sky, hopefully where no one was looking.

 

 

Lynda woke to the sun shining in through the window of her small cabin. Stretching, she grabbed her flute, and went out in search of Talise. "Talise, where are you?" she murmured. Talise always went out in the night, for whatever reasons. Lynda didn't mind. Talise always came back. Its been a while since I heard news of the war, maybe I should make another trip to the village to find out what the latest news is.

Zander nodded and stuck out his arm to let Warrion lead. Zander made a sharp whistle and Tierrafuego showed up at the front of the building waiting. Zander jumped on and grabbed hold of one of the spikes on Tierrafuego's back. "After you Warrion" Zander asked.

Warrion walked outside and was soon encased in fire, and when it died down he was in his dragon form. "I say we hit the village first, it'll be easier to find more of us there, we all stick out like a sore thumb." said Warrion as he took off, his voice was much deeper and more dragon-like in this form.

 

Luke was still inside the counsil room when he heard a small growl. "I hope they're up to th task to Polaris, both are still young." said Luke. Polaris then let out another light growl. "I will assist them when the time is right, the Eglorians think i have retired, the only one who knows i haven't, is Warrion, only he knows that i still fight."

 

Warrion looked over towards Zander. "So, what do you think of life as a Knight, better than a normal life?" asked Warrion.

Zander nodded and took off as well. Zander then heard his question and looked down. "Not really, I mean its cool to have wings and these hands are great for a fight but like I can't feel anything, I don't know how touching somethings feels like. Its both a burden and a gift I've learned to accept it and deal with it but you can't help but to want something you never had." Zander said as he noticed they were above the village. Zander pointed "We are here" then Zander stroked the back of Tierrafuego and he let out a shrill growl that only dragons can hear.

"Before we land i should let you know, a lot of civilians don't really like us thanks to the Eaglorians, they covinced almost everyone that we're a blight, a pleague of some kind, so keep your guard up." said Warrion as he turned back into his human form and landed. "Oh, i forgot to mention that you get used to the fact you have dragon dna, besides, yours is minor, a Mystic's dragon dna is the majority of their being, that's why we can use magic and turn into dragons."

 

"Hey Polaris, maybe we should patrol around, for old times sake?" asked Luke. Polaris nodded in agreement. Luke put his helmet on, which covered his face. he then got on Polaris and flew off. "I just hope i don't run into any trouble."

"Makes since, and I don't have a doubt that I will feel better later on but right now being only 17 its all I think about pretty much." Zander said as he landed. "stay high and I'll call for you later." Zander then held onto the hilt of his sword calmly and walked around looking for people with Warrion

"Yeah, give it 1-200 years, you'll grow into them." said Warrion. as Warrion entered the village, he notice a few guys in white and gold armor. "You see those guys in armor over there, those are Eaglorian's, don't make eye contact and you should be fine."

Zander laughed at the 200 years part. Even though Warrion and Luke were older than that it was still a long time. Zander then nodded as he turned from the guard and kept his hand on his hilt just in case. "so do you know anyone that could be here or are we going for complete strangers?" Zander asked

"I don't know...yet, but whatever you do, don't mention dragons out loud, Eaglorian's are fighting us to send dragons back to myth, Eaglorian's believe in science, not magic, they want dragons to remain non-existant.....300 years ago, the Eaglorian's almost succeeded in that mission, if it wasn't for Luke, none of this, none of us would exist, and you would've been killed at infancy, sorry if i'm scaring you with this, but it's best to know now instead of when your 250, like me, cause that's when you fully learn our history.....it's always been like that, every century you learn bit and pieces on how to harness your full might, it ends when you're 400, that's why Luke is the head hauncho, he knows everything about us, even back to the very first Knight, Mystic and Tamer." whispered Warrion, trying not to draw attention. "I bet you're wondering why my name is Warrion as well, aren't you?"

Zander was hit hard by that story. He knew that the Elagorians were quite murderous and even burnt down his old village but he didn't know how close to victory they were. "Wow" Was all Zander could say but after a couple minutes he then asked "How did you get that name?"

"I wasn't given a name until i was 5, that was the year i killed my first Eaglorian, and it was the unit leader, my parents and everyone else gave me the nickname Warrion, and it just stuck.....unfourtunatly, a few years later, my father was killed by a group of Eaglorian's who were looking for me, Luke took me in because my mother had died a few years before that, killed by Eaglorian's, just like my father, i was only 15, for 285 years i was trained in the arts of a Mystic under the supervision of Luke......anyway, what's your story?" asked Warrion

"Wow well my story isn't as big as yours because I'm only 17 but I turn 18 in two days so who knows a lot could happen. But yeah When I was 13 my dragon arms and wings came in and the Eaglorians came in to my town because someone snitched about my arms. Well they didn't know which house I was in... yet. My dad pulled me up to the loft in are barn and he showed me this egg and the second I touched it a baby version of Tierrafuego hatched and I ran to the woods to hide him. When I came back my dad was slaughtered and my village was on fire. I found the man who killed my father a year later when Tierrafuego was big enough to ride and and I tore that mans heart out with my dragon talons. I'm not proud of that but I get taken over with anger and I lost control." Zander said looking at the other Eaglorians with anger "I took his sword after that"

"Wow, overkill......anyway, we should be safe around here........and, not to be rude, but since you're new at this, don't do anything stupid, last guy i was with was older than me, did something stupid and got himself killed......oh, and whatever you do, until you have more expirience and you become a Knight of the Dragon Counsil, don't ask Luke about his family, it's, kind of a harsh memory on him, oh, and don't ask him to reveal his wings, he has't had to use them in 300 years, after the last time he defeated the Eaglorian's, they've been folded on his back for 300 years, so you can imagine the cramps he'd have." said Warrion.

 

Luke was quite close to the village when he saw something that caught his eye. "Oh great, now i've gotta save their lives." said Luke as he flew as fast as his dragon could.

Zander nodded "I will remember not to do that in the future. Also I don't plan on doing anything stupid I plan on flying under the radar." Zander then looked around looking for anyone like them, he looked for wings, arms, anything, even like a staff. Zander then looked at the ground and saw a blue scale. He picked it up and examined it. "looks like we are close, I just hope its not to late seeing the Eaglorians over there" Zander said

Warrion nodded. suddenly, Warrion noticed a dragon flying over him and Zander and it breathed a strange symbol in the air using it's fire. "Zander, i hope you're a good fighter, because the Eaglorian's are coming here, and it appears we have some unwanted company." said Warrion as he turned around, standing there was the same two Eaglorian's, but this time, they had a lot of backup.

Zander smiled. "I do pretty well" Zander drew his blade and it caught a glimpse of the sun making it shine into the eyes of one of the Eaglorians. Zander then held out his hand and the earth started to shake beneath them and a whole tore through the ground and swallowed the Eaglorian whole. Zander then saw an Eaglorian running at him so he quickly brought up his blade and blocked the oncoming attack

as Warrion was fighting, he was also laughing. "Man, it's been over 200 years since i've had a good fight......" started Warrion as he hit an Eaglorian in the head, threw him in the air, did a corkscrew jump into the air, and struck the Eaglorian with the spear-like tip of his staff. a few seconds later, he landed back on the ground. "Hey Zander, what'd ya think of that move, not bad for a 300 year old man huh?"

"That was pretty good gramps!" Zander said with a laugh as he jumped up and made the earth rise from under him and an Eaglorian rise above the clouds. The Eaglorian swun his sword and Zander blocked it with his arm then he grabbed the guy and threw him off the tower. Zander then flew down to the bottom and watched as the body crushed against the ground

Warrion scofted smugly at Zander's moves. "And Luke always called me the show off." said Warrion. Warrion then saw an Eaglorian sneaking up behind Zander and was about to act, until the fully armored Luke showed up on the battlefield and took him out. Warrion just smirked, because with his helmet on, no one knew it was Luke.

 

"Hey kid, rule number 1, always watch your back." said Luke. Luke then ran an Eaglorian through as the Eaglorian was running up behind him. "Rule number 2, these guys love to attack when their opponent's back is turned." Luke added as he fought more Eaglorian's.

"Thanks" Zander said as he nodded to the advice. Zander then shot a fire ball at oncoming enemies lighting them all up. Zander heard the screams and watched them burn, it reminded him of his old village. He got a little woozy and then made the earth collapse beneath the Eaglorians so he couldn't here them any more
