KHBbS Just saying... Vanitas is super bad a**!

I mean I was replaying BbS today and I was like dang...

 

Vanitas was fighting Ven inside Dive To The Heart while he was fighting Aqua and Mickey outside. I know he lost both, but he proved to be a strong contender. He must have a strong heart, if he can keep track of two things like that and put up a decent battle.

 

I know it's just a secret boss and there isn't anything really important to it, but maybe that's why the Vanitas Remnant/Lingering Sentiment was so strong.. Cause he didn't have to fight two battles at once... haha.

When he appeared in the Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix Secret Ending: The Gathering... I hated him, haha. Because he reminded me of Riku's dark form.

But when I found out the Japanese Voice for him was the same as Sora. And Haley Joel Osment was going to voice him also, it made it a little better. He's a pretty funny character though, once I played BbS.

I thought it was because he was testing them. He let Ven fight him and he was disappointed, but then he changes his mind and let's him live to get stronger. He didn't go full power against Aqua, but he thought the amount of power he was using was enough. Since she survived, he thought she might be a good back up just in case Ven fails to show up or loses.

He needed to be weakened enough, to lose his body. So he can enter Ven's (or Aqua's if it led to that) body and create the X-Blade. Apparently the fusion of total darkness and light needed to occur to forge it.

I don't think an imaginary battle of the hearts can't be counted as the samew thing as a physical fight

still, him being strong enough to hold off Aqua and Mickey does say something. Considering Aqua was able to beat Xehanort in his new body.

You should read "the real" story of Vanitas, He wasn't evil, although he's still badass..

 

He was just like that because ventus was an empty shell and Vanitas had all Ven's memories and emotions with him

I find Vanitas to be a good villain. I'd be surprised if he somehow betrays Xehanort for his own evil plans in future titles.

Vanitas is pretty fun, 'cause he's vilain only on the goal to be vilain. MX is a vilain who wish to be a superexistence body thanks to the Kigndom Hearts, and all his other forms try it too.

But Vanitas was Evil. Not because he wished to be a super human or anything, but just because of his heart full of darkness.

He's evil just to be evil. And that's cool.

and at the start of BBS when Ventus is on DI and talking "heart to heart" with Sora, we see the chunk that Vanitas took out of his heart. that really didnt seem like that big of a chunk if you look at the whole thing. that means that much darkness was stored in that little piece of his heart O.O
