"Damn it....this is horrible....." Felix said glumly, "Oh well, you know what...we'll get him back. I promised Mariah I'd keep him with her...I keep my promises."

"Well good job! Ya got you're own lines!" Axel said with a chuckle. Felix smirked and then looked back at Reilly and frowned.

"We are gonna find you..." he said with a frown.

 

Scott looked at them, and smiled. "Alright...I assume you have your brother's phone number right Lexi? Do call Ethan and ask him to dinner...I'm thinking Cracker Barrel..." Scott said with a smile, "Oh, and let's go outside...my car is waiting outside. It holds more people than your two seater."

(Oh damn it, sorry, i obviously made a mistake but i could use the excuse that Axthrone came from a parrallel World where they WERE at the restaurant but now, Axthrone is currently using the Corridor of Darkness to travel who knows where, how about that?).

Maybe give background on your character or have him do an inner dialogue with Xigbar before eventually heading towards other inhabitors. There are plenty of examples in this rp of how people have introduced their characters, so those could provide ideas as well. But, as Azure Flame said, there's only this world, almost exactly like our own, and inhabitors are an unexpected and unexplained incident within it. Last year in this world there were only inhabitors from various Final Fantasy worlds and this year there are only inhabitors featured within Kingdom Hearts. As seen by Xeveemon's characters and James, having had an inhabitor makes you a perfect candidate for getting another one. The only other thing I can think to say is that the Lifestream from Final Fantasy VII is a thing here, meaning when a character dies they fade into it.)

Reilly smiled. "Pathetic beings. Chicago is a great city for holding hostages by the way." He disappeared, and luckily he was far enough to get away.

 

Joy sat alone in his room, tied to the chair. All he could think about were Mariah...and Elie.

"You kidding me!? How do they always do that!? Gah! Well at least we know a rough location. Chicago is where we can find Joy, and if we even get close to him we should be able to sense his inhabitor. We can't really do that much about Seichi and Arina right now, so I guess we should just gather up what few of us are left and take turns standing guard while the others heal and rest. After we're all ready then we should be able to head that way," said Troy, trying to pull together a plan from the mess that had occurred ever since this whole thing had started.

He can give us intel, on suspicious behavior, and other things....but don't get your hopes up. Chicago is a city of crime, and lots of it," Felix said with a smirk, "Yeah...politics. It's uh...my family's thing, but not mine."

Elie stood up, her tear ducts dry. She walked up beside Tudi in the clearing and listened. Apparently they needed to go to Chicago. "Chicago?" Tudi asked. "I got a whole bunch of relatives that live there. I can get a few of us a ride. But only four. So me and anyone else up for it? I don't blame if you don't, my grandparents are realllly boring."

Seichi narrowly dodged the stab and spun around, crouching to sweep him. He then got up, still spinning, and slashed. This was so if he tried to jump to avoid the sweep, he'd get slashed instead.

(Man, sorry I couldn't be online at all yesterday, everyone. My life's just been one crazy thing after another lately. I'll be on and off today. LOL probably mostly off.)

 

Mariah stepped back as if she had been struck. This guy had captured Joy. She hadn't been able to protect him, and now... Her eyes blazed with hatred, and just as Reilly started to disappear, she ran towards him and screamed, “What are you doing to him?!” The next instant, he was gone, and Mariah was standing in the same spot where he had just been. “Damn it!” she said, her eyes filling with tears. She barely heard the others as the spoke to each other, working out the beginnings of a plan. Wiping the tears away, she slowly looked at Rebekah. “You said you would protect him.” Her voice was quiet and angry.

 

Rebekah felt the crushing weight of her failure to keep her promise, and lowered her head. “Mariah, I'm so sorry. I really am. I just...” She unconsciously glanced at Felix before looking at the ground again. “I know I didn't hold to what I said I'd do, and I take responsibility for what happened.”

 

Mariah caught the glance and was initially bewildered by the way her cousin looked at Felix, but soon started to comprehend the situation. Her expression softened a little. “I see... No, I'm sorry for putting this on you—it wasn't your fault, and it's not like you're the one who loves Joy anyway. You can't take responsibility.” She sighed and looked around at everyone else, her eyes somewhat avoiding Elie. “So, when do we leave for Chicago?”

“Of course,” Alexis said. She took James's arm and started to follow Scott out as she dialed Ethan's recently rediscovered number.

James walked with her while she held his arm. "So, where are we going to eat?" he asked. He was curious as to what would happen now.

Vanitas walked into the living room of the apartment, only to see Reilly eating chips and watching TV. "Please tell me you told them about Chicago and our waiting ambush." (Is this okay, having an ambush?) Reilly smirked. "Course. The girl fell right into it. She'll be here within the week. By the way, that Joy guy was callin you Callum? Does he know ya?" Vanitas turned. "Not at all."

'Well i suggest we rest for the night and find some way to get to Chicago tomorrow, me and Troy will take first watch.'

"Don't worry...I have a plan on getting us to Chicago, and I think it would be good if we slept deeper into the woods. Rebekah....why don't you accompany me in setting up camp? I'll get the fire wood if you dig a pit," Felix said blushing at the end.

 

 

Scott opened the door to a black Jeep Grand Cherokee. "I took this little baby off the CIA's hands, it's eight passenger, bullet proof, and can take a missle and keep on trucking," Scott said in his best salesman voice. He got in the driver's seat and buckled up. Before he shut the door he looked at James and said, "We're going to Cracker Barrel it's the last place anyone would expect to see any guys like us."

When Rebekah saw Felix blush, her own face did the same again as she anticipated what he might say to her once they were alone. “Y-yeah,” she said. “I'd be glad to help.” The moment the words left her mouth, she regretted it somewhat. Was she ready to hear what he would tell her? Mostly the idea of it scared her to death, but she didn't know why. Maybe it was because no one that she knew of had ever had romantic feelings for her. And maybe she was afraid to fall in love... Then again, there was always the possibility that this idea that Felix cared for her in a special way was just that—an idea, nothing more than her imagination going out of wack. And what then? Would she be relieved if that turned out to be the case, or...disappointed? Despite the inner turmoil, she managed a smile. “Ready when you are. T-to set up camp, I mean,” she said awkwardly. Ugh, why did she have to add on that last part? It would've been perfectly fine if she hadn't.

“Thanks, Felix,” Mariah said. He seemed to be great at figuring out the whole transportation thing. What she really wanted was to go after Joy now, but she knew that she couldn't convince anybody else at this point, except maybe Elie. Even if she could get Elie to go with her, though, the thought of traveling alone with her seemed awkward and...well, irritating, to be honest. Especially because it had appeared that Joy might return some feelings for her, based off of the look that was on his face when she had spontaneously kissed him. And besides all of that, Mariah could really feel the exhaustion overtaking her, despite the two short naps she had taken unintentionally. Even though she was feeling stronger, she still wasn't at her best, which was becoming more apparent to her by the minute. She shook her head tiredly and looked at Rebekah and Felix. “Okay, so I'm guessing you two will go ahead of the rest of us and set up camp, then we'll all follow behind?”

After Reilly had disappeared, Keilani went up beside Troy and put her arm around him, glad that Reilly was gone. She hoped that Troy could handle staying up a few extra hours to keep watch, but she didn't want to say anything to him about it because she was afraid she might offend him again. From the way he had been acting since the moment she had been rescued from Scott and Ethan, she was beginning to guess that he was feeling like a failure, like he wasn't strong enough or something. She sighed. Such a boy thing. When would they ever learn that they didn't have to work so hard or possess superhuman physical strength to prove themselves as great human beings?

Alexis smirked. “Nice ride,” she said as she climbed into the car. “Cracker Barrel it is, then.” As Ethan's phone rang, she began thinking of how she would start convincing James to unleash Sephiroth and fight on their side. Of course, there was no telling what Sephiroth would do to her, Scott, and Ethan after everyone else was obliterated. Maybe he would do nothing, or maybe he would feel like there wasn't room for all four of them in the world. Either way, she was going to ditch her “allies” as soon as the goody-goods were taken care of. And good luck to whomever decided to try tracking her down.
