Alex kept backing up as the gang moved closer.'this is not good' Roxas said. 'Well no kidding' The leader smiled as Alex was backed up to. Wall. He had his keyblade in hand ready to attacks and defend himself. "alright then, get him boys" The rest of the hand charged at him, swinging their fists and whatever weapon they had. Alex dodged some but got hit in the head with a fist and nearly missed a bat. He fired magic out of keyblade that sent one guy freezing. "Blizzard!!" The guy froze stiff but the others kept coming at him.

There was suddenly a knock on the door of Joy's old home, a man with red hair and a cigarette in his mouth standing there casually, his hands in his pockets. There had been a hint of blood on his hands before, but he was able to clean it off rather easily, though the same couldn't be said about the mess Ethan's body had left in the cemetery. That had been a bit messy, he would admit, but now that he understood the full extent of his power he would be sure to keep it under control in the future.

(OOC: Time for James to get some work in....sorry I posted so late, just got off work...oh by the way...if you read this and it changes it's because I just came up with a new character. )

 

Felix shook his head. "Well...if you don't wanna be with our group anymore Van...I guess we can call it an even split. But first let's get out, rest up, and then decide what we want to do in the morning ok?" ,Felix said smiling. His smile was half-hearted, he'd just lost Axel, but he didn't want anyone to know...

 

Scott could only sense three inhabiters....one was Alexis, and that would mean that one died. Ha..he hoped it was Felix, the blood loss would be incredible even with his wound sealed up by the flames. "Looks like we won after all huh?" ,Scott asked.

'Definatly,' Marluxia thought.

 

James had trained alone for quite some time. He found that his Riku-Sephiroth powers were mixing quite well, and his speed was mind boggling. If he was going to play the villian, he'd be non-theatrical, and cruel. He didn't care what Ethan thought anymore, or Alexis for that matter. He was going to kill...and that's all he wanted now. Revenge on everyone that had wronged him. He'd start off with Joy, he figured that's where most of his problems stimmed, and that's where he'd need to begin. So he sprouted his wing, and flew back towards Virgina. He felt twenty times stronger now, and he didn't care about his past. They were just memories. In the future, he'd take what he wanted, and he'd force people to accept him. No more being mister second pick...

"I hate New York" He held his keyblade up and swung it but one man came from behind him and grabbed him making him drop his keyblade. "Your a feisty one boy, we never find one like you in these parts." he put a small knife to Alex's neck. "What should we do boss?" "Heh, maybe slice him to bits for trespassing into our terf."

Vanitas shrugged. "Whatever. It's not like I have anywhere else to go. Where's that other guy? Roxas and the guy he inhabits."

"Oh shit...listen, you get Rebekah out. I'll look for him," Felix said. He ran around the building, but nothing. So he came back to Vanitas. "Not here...I think Scott sent him somewhere else. We should go regroup. I'll call his phone," he said hurridly.

 

Dalton was walking down the sidewalk. This episode of Smackdown had gone well, but once again he felt sad that he wasn't able to put on a better show.

'Jeeze Goofy, tonight just didn't go right. There should've been more lights, more fireworks, and more face slams...it's too bad that Big Show passed out,' he thought sadly.

'Hey, now dontcha give up like that. I'm sure those people loved it! *goofy laugh* Hey...what's going on in that ally?' Goofy asked.

Dalton turned and saw some guys with a kid. He looked like he was in trouble so Dalton ran over to them.

"Hey punks! Mess with someone your own age!!" ,He shouted.

 

"Maleficent...there is house full of them...and big baddy at the door," Victor said casually.

'Just forget about it. We don't want to mess with that one,' Maleficent thought.

"никакой (No)..I'm going in. We follow big baddy too long...he has lived complete life, and now. He will die warrior's death same as the fools in that house,' Victor said.

He began running across the street with his fists clentched, but then he was hit by a Greyhound bus headed for Florida.

"Damn...bus...." ,he said as blood flowed along side his face. He'd be stuck there for a while, but he was more angry that the driver wasn't stopping. This driver would pay.

Vanitas turned to Rebekah, and raised an eyebrow. "Are we going then, Miss Prissy?"

 

Joy pulled away quickly, red on his cheeks. He heard the knock on the door, and walked over to answer it. He grabbed his Buster Sword too, not wanting to risk being weaponless. He opened the door, and his heart stopped. He could sense he was an Inhabitor, but it was just plain evil. He quickly turned. "Mariah, get Troy and Keilani, GO! And don't look back!" He locked the door, and shut it as he walked onto the porch. "So, I'm guessing you're here to kill me, then. Come at me." Everyone had to get out, to be trained, even if he...

 

(Seriously considering to kill Joy off. I'd have to make it epic, though...)

The big burly guy looked at Dalton, and lowered his knife. "Well now do we have another stray? Get him men." "Leave him alone!" "Shut your trap!!" The man slapped Alex across the face. He had never been treated like this except when the bullies picked on him back home he face was now red from the mans palm as two thugs went after Dalton.

Dalton smiled, and threw a punch at one of the men. He then twirled around and kicked at the other one's throat.

 

James flew over a greyhound bus, not paying much attention because he felt many inhabiters nearby, and he knew one of them had to be Joy. He landed in the front yard and looked up. He saw a man standing at the front door. He didn't feel like asking questions, this guy didn't look like he wanted to say much, and James could smell murderous intent in the air. So he summoned up the One Winged Keyblade, and took Sephiroth's battle stance. He also put away his wing, and waited.

'James...I don't know how I feel about this guy,' Riku thought.

'Weakling...this man will be easy,' Sephiroth thought.

'Riku...all you need to do is remember how to support me in battle. Forget anything else,' James thought sternly. He was beginning to side with Sephiroth more and more. Mostly because Sephiroth was actually cooperating now, and he didn't want that to end.

The leader eyed Dalton and charged at him with his knife. A gun in his waist pocket.

Troy heard the sounds from out front and rushed inside to grab Keilani and make sure she was safe. "Keilani, Mariah, we've got to get out of here. This place isn't safe for either of you. Don't worry, I'll come back to help Joy as soon as I can," he stated before casting Firaga at the roof and blowing a portion of it out. He transformed the X-blade into it's flying form and leaped onto it, going to grab both Keilani and Mariah, whether they wanted to go or not. "Sorry girls, but this is the only way to make sure you're safe."

 

Corey smirked as his arms turned pitch black. He turned his back on Joy and began to walk towards James at a leisurely pace. "You're perceptive. Yes, I plan to face you in combat and kill you if possible. Both of you, actually. You see, it isn't that I dislike you. On the contrary, I'd like to thank you both. You were some of the originals, the group that first were inhabited, and the two of you unwittingly saved me from the bore of ordinary life. That I'd have the opportunity to face you is priceless. However, I do not plan on falling to anyone's blade today." When he was directly between the two of them, enormous black wings ripped out from his shoulder blades and he held his arms out wide, summoning flames to burst from the ground around his feet in a scorching inferno, reaching out to both of his foes.

Joy rubbed his head, and easily sidestepped the attack. "C'mon dude. I wish I could start a battle like that" He charged forward on his new leg, and swung to the right.

Corey grabbed Joy's blade and attempted to use his momentum against him and throw him into James. With this being a free for all, Corey knew that he would have to stay on his toes. Therefore, he relinquished control of all but the wings and legs to Chernabog, ensuring that he could keep all focus on the defensive side of the battle while Chernabog reveled in destruction.

Joy barely stopped himself, but stumbled in the process. He remembered he needed to be quick. He quickly stabbed his sword in the ground, swung across the handle, and aimed his foot towards Corey's face.

Alexis opened her eyes and lowered her arms, having shielded her face with them. She could tell that she had been singed in several places, but she was more worried about where her enemies were at the moment. She looked around, her eyes stinging from the lingering smoke, and found that Felix was gone. She growled and was ready to try going after him when Scott started bitching about how he was hurt. She looked over at him furiously, but when she laid eyes on him, she could see why he was having issues. She let out a groan, half disgusted and half frustrated, then ran over to him and put an arm around his waist. With the other arm, she reached out and opened a corridor of darkness that would lead them back to the jet. “Come on...” she muttered to him. Despite her extreme anger at the situation, she felt that she still needed Scott’s help, otherwise she would have just left him to die. She gritted her teeth as they left Rebekah and Callum behind.

Rebekah had no idea what to think when Vanitas freed her, but there really wasn’t time to think of anything, anyway. Aqua instinctively and protectively took over and scowled at Vanitas. “Don’t try anything funny,” she warned, though she could see that Vanitas had taken a bit of a beating. She walked out of the shop, and she could see that the sun was rising. She then turned back to look at Vanitas, and her face softened a bit. “And, um...thanks for saving Rebekah...and me. I thought we were as good as dead back there.”

Matthew awoke as beams of sunlight hit his eyelids. He stretched and yawned, then sat up.

“That’s strange...” Jack remarked.

“What?” Matthew asked.

“It seems like everyone else is gone. I could sense them upstairs last night, but they’re just not there anymore.” He then waved the thought away, not caring too much about their hosts, and switched of to a different subject. “You know, this whole sensing other Inhabiters thing is really strange. Wish I could do that back home.”

Matthew shrugged and got up, then went to the kitchen and fried himself some eggs. After he ate, he put the dishes in the sink, not bothering to wash them, and got dressed. “Well, I guess we’ll be going now. Got to get as far from here as possible,” he mumbled. He went out the door and gave a small salute in the direction of the unoccupied house. “Thanks for your hospitality!” he said cheerily, though of course none of the people he had met the previous night were there to hear him say it. He then walked down the street and reached town within fifteen minutes, admiring a fancy hotel as he passed.

Keilani was swept up by Troy, barely keeping a grip on her sketchpad. She was confused as to what exactly was happening, but she was totally cool with Troy being all knight-in-shining-armor-esque. She put her arms around his waist when she was able to find her footing on the glider.

Mariah, however, snapped her wrist out of Troy’s hand. “Sorry, Troy, but I’m not going anywhere. You and Keilani go somewhere safe, and don’t try to help us! I don’t want either of you getting hurt.” She then ran outside, and her stomach dropped. James was there, and she could see that, once again, Sephiroth was getting the better of him. Her eyes then went to Joy and the...monster. There was no better word for Joy’s opponent. She ran at Chernabog from the other side to punch him.

Vanitas looked down. What was this emotion? Feeling bad about his actions? He looked up at Aqua and kinda coughed a bit. "Yeah, you're welcome, I guess?" He felt the deep cut across his face. "Yeah, this is becoming a scar. Callum's gonna hate me when he gets back." Vanitas then frowned. Wait. He intends to give Callum his body back?

Troy was torn for a moment, but he realized that he wouldn't be able to talk Mariah out of it and he really needed to keep Keilani safe, so he flew out the hole that he had created and kept going, far from the destruction behind them.

 

Corey had honestly expected Joy to be more of a challenge, but upon seeing Mariah enter the fight he remembered that Joy had always fought better when she was on the line. Therefore, to get Joy to fight his hardest, Corey would need to go after her. He used one of his large, demonic wings to block Joy's kick, and attempted to grab the arm Mariah was attempting to punch him with. Chernabog breathed a strong stream of flames at Mariah, and used his one available hand to summon ghosts for James to contend with. Sure they weren't much, but they would buy him some time, and that was all he needed.

Joy picked up the Buster Sword, and quickly blocked the attack at Mariah. Joy jumped up into the air, and shot a rain of meteors at Corey, then fell to the ground, Sword aimed to smash him.

(OOC: The physics of what you just said Joy did don't make sense, as Mariah was coming from the direction opposite Joy, and Corey was blocking your forward kick with a large wing which you would have had to have gotten around before blocking the attack heading for Mariah. Ah well, I'll run with it.)

 

Corey whipped around and met the meteors in midair with blasts of fire from his pitch black hands, though Joy's Buster Sword did manage to cut in on his shoulder. Chernabog released a swift backhanded swipe, generating a massively disproportionate gust of wind with which to attempt to knock Joy back a few feet.

(Whoops. Guess I made a dumb mistake. Sorry. I guess I figured since Always isn't on, Joy has to block it or we'll both be waiting. )

Joy flew back, gasping.. He quickly rolled forward, but found he wasn't as great as he used to be. He dropped his sword, and clutched his shoulder in pain.

Felix walked out of the shop and was glad to see Vanitas and Rebekah hanging out. "Alrighty then. I'm calling Alex because this shit's messed up enough without us being down a man..." ,he said with a sigh. He dialed in Alex's number and waited.

 

Scott headed towards Alexis and stepped into the dark portal. Immediatly he knew what he had to do. As disfigured as he was, and as beautiful as she was it would never work out. So, he'd focus less on what was an impromptu marriage, and get back to training her to be five times better than him. "Alexis, we won't be going back to the house together. I'm sending you alone to go wipe out the FBI...I think you'll handle it no problem. Once you've done that come back to me for your next assignment," he said in a strained voice.

 

Dalton whipped his hair back and threw a series of punches at the leader, and followed it up by disarming his holstered gun and placing it in his mouth. "You're going to leave the nice boy, and myself alone now aren't you?" ,he asked with a smile.

 

The bus had met a grousome end at a train station in Virgina, sadly all the passengers were killed except for two thirteen year old boys who claimed a man threw them off the bus, and kicked the bus into the train. They then claimed that the man hopped onto a south bound train. Victor stepped off of the train at a airport terminal in South Carolina. "You sense that? More inhabiters to play with..." ,Victor said with a slight sign of approval. He ran out to the field and saw a burnt up man, talking to a woman, and so he figured they'd need assistance. "Hello do you need anything?" ,he asked. Scott had no fight in him at the time so he shook his head, and ordered the plane to take off, but he looked at Alexis and gave her the sign to kill this guy. Victor then looked at Alexis and smiled. "Lady, do you require assistance?" ,he asked firmly. He didn't care that Scott was leaving....he'd find him again.

 

James had just been playing the waiting game up until this point, he felt as though Joy could attempt to slow this big guy down, and then he'd make his move.

'Sephiroth...he hasn't slowed at all has he?' ,James asked.

'Not one bit, but if you look carefully you can see signs of stress. He doesn't like that the fight is taking so long,' Sephiroth thought.

'What I'd suggest is a joint attack. This guy could pose a threat later, and we don't need that kind of mess,' Riku thought.

'Sounds good enough for me...might even give Joy a false sense of hope,' James thought.

"Hey, you...get up off the ground you look pathetic. If you plan on taking this guy out...we're doing it together," James said as he spun his keyblade back. He then charged this new opponent, and slashed three times before jumping over him and kicking back behind himself.

The man glared at him. "fine.......let the boy go!" He yelled back at his henchman. The big man let Alex go. "What do we do now boss?" "Scram...." The leader turned around and made his henchman follow. "hey, thanks for that...if you didn't come around I would have been mince meat right now." He felt his phone vibrate and he picked it up and answered. "Hello?"

Corey had been prepared for this. Heck, he'd expected it. Paying the attack little mind, he simply had the ghosts act as undead shields for James' original slashes, then he used his wings to give him a boost high above James just as the host landed on the other side of him to kick. James was definitely an adversary to keep an eye on, that was for sure, but he still wasn't a major threat. At least, that is, not yet.

"Alex...where exactly are you? We lost ya after Scott sent that portal through...um...well if you give me the city I'll drive up to get you while the others stay here," he said calmly looking at Rebekah. He shrugged and waited for a response.

 

"Oh pleeaassse it was nothing for the great Dalton Colt! Hey, do you need a place to stay? Cuz...I have a spare bed at my place," he said smiling.

 

James spun around and launched himself into the air. Finally he'd have a chance to try out some of his new combos...so first he started out by using Riku's dark aura, but mixed it in with a meteor thanks to Sephiroth to create a dark meteor the size of a school bus headed at his foe. He dodged the kick and then focused the meteor back on his foe...
