nope, you start from exactly where you left off the next time you drop back to that character. so if you're fighting a boss as sora and drop to riku halfway through, next time you play as sora you'll still be halfway through that boss. you can also initiate the drop yourself if you want to get back to finish it off.

No during a boss fight if you drop and come back the boss will have full health. Now if square change it then yay if not then oh well

wha I did is I picked 5 non spoiler cutscenes and kept to those cutscenes till the english release. I swear its like nicorette.
