So, according to Young Master Xehanort, he was able to time travel- and we know that he appears in Birth by Sleep/BBS Final Mix. Does he ever mention why he was there, or was it just cause?

I think the reason why Young Xehanort had decided to fight Ventus,Terra and Aqua would be to test their strength, Just for the sake of it, Due to their soon to be involvement within Master Xehanort's plan.

No, in fact, it makes absolutely no sense, which is why I believe it to not to be canon, just like the secret boss fight with Xemnas in KH1FM.

I personally just don't understand why YMX would go there to fight with them, risking the exposure of his identity, especially when he knows one's going to be his vessel, one's going to fall into darkness and one's going to fail to become the X-Blade. It makes no sense to me why he would bother with fighting them.

Some people speculate that he wanted to stop TVA. But testing their strength makes more sense. I also believe that he is just a secret boss and nothing more.

I can't really find it right now, but I'm pretty sure the cutscene is cannon, and the point it appears in the save file was supposed to be important. He was probably just testing their strength to make sure they were strong enough to thrawrt MX's current plans, thus leading to his eventual splitting, etc. They'd never be able ot recognize him as Xehanort--they've never seen him young, and how could there possibly be two Xehanort's? They don't know about time traveling or anything.

She's a replica created by Vexen using Naminé, that's why when Axel went to look through one of Vexen's reports on Naminé, he discovered what she was.

I know it was a dream .I was refering to the canon part of KH1FM Xemnas fight.I thought it was said that he battled Sora for his data like Vexen did with Riku..If you can find where it says differently let me know . And also i meant the same thing as memories when i said Data bc i wasnt sure the correct way to phrase it

Key word is "seem." If both the fight and the conversation were non-canon, why did both things appear in Kingdom Hearts II (the conversation's in the beginning, the fight is one of Roxas' borrowed memories from Sora)?
