why all the negativity for KH3 possibly being on XBOX360?

i'm not trying to start a console war here or anything, but it seems everyware that i go people hate the idea of KH3 being released on XBOX and PS3.

 

i've played the first 2 games on my PS2 and it was a good system, but i got an XBOX because to me it was a better buy with backwards compatability and some nice exclusives plus all my freinds play on it. and i'm not about to go and spend money on ONE system for ONE game when the system wouldnt even let me play some of my old favorite PS2 games.

 

personally i see nothing wrong with it being released on both, i'm not trying to be an XBOX eliteist just a guy who prefers one system and thinks the game should come out on both. so could somebody give me ONE reason it shouldnt come to XBOX360 other than "Because XBOX sucks!"

I'm not negative with KH3 being on Xbox 360, but considering all past KH titles have been on either Nintendo or Sony platforms, and the 360 is failing in Japan with even the PS2 surpassing it each week in sales, it just seems very unlikely that it would come out on that.

yeah but for america they would do great in sales and make so much more money. while japan may be where the game is released first it isnt the majority of the fanbase

well, it might be falling in japan, but it's actually successful in the USA (I think, at least I know TONS of people who own one)...they might create US version just for the xbox 360 (and i am not talking about it being exclusive just for the xbox 360, I mean like one for the ps3 (4?!) one for the 360 and one for the wii U b/c that's what I am getting LOL) b/c it would broaden the audience for the game and it would get higher sales.

My 360 has the red rings so i dont even touch it. Also, i think some people wouldn't be happy with the idea of it being multiplatform since the major games have been on Sony systems and they probably wouldn't want what happened to FF13 to happen again. Remember when it was originally exclusive to Playstation 3? Then once it was announced to be multiplatform, visual quality went down a bit.

xbox can handle mass effect 3, if it couldnt handle KH3 graphics if it was made for PS3 first than god how high quality must it be. plus i actually dont see visual quality going up that much with a new game other than detail since as a game where you visit disney worlds they cant make it too realistic. i see detail on stuff like soras necklace not just being a drawn in mesh being improved but other than that kind of stuff and better facial animation not much.

i don't care, as long as it's not Xbox 360 or Wii exclusive(which i doubt). i just don't want to buy those for one game. but, if i have to i'll suck it up and give them my money.

If they make it PS3 only, it will have a chance of having more content and better graphics, because they would have to tune things down to make the Xbox handle it.

The PS3 can handle ME3 too. And it's true that the current gen consoles don't really improve much in visual quality, but what i mean is that FF13 decreased in a bit of detail when it was announced for 360 too. The 360 can handle the PS3's current game graphics just fine but I believe that's mainly because not many developers don't know how to use the PS3's full power. Not trying to cause a console war, just giving my opinion a bit.

Considering that past games have been on one console/hand held and that it has only been on nintendo and sony products, I highly doubt it will ever stand a chance on xbox. As a personal opinion, Kingdom Hearts 3 should not be on xbox. Also making a game for two different system takes a longer time especially a game that is made for one system to enhance all its gameplay.

and while their is never a complette garuntee personally in my generation i would say their are a LOT of people who had PS2s and than got 360s. i have a TON of freinds like me who got consoles like that. so we really never know for sure
