Katsuro and Natsu were walking to the town the mission said for them to get too. They needed to stop a band of mages from robbbing the local stores for money. Natsu was grinning ear to ear thinking bout his brilliant plan. Katsuro got curious and stopped. 'Why are you grinning like that Natsu, were you eating suger again?'

'No, well...not recently. I am just excited about how fun this will be.'

'Uhuh, well that smile is giving me some goosebumps.'

'Why is that?'

'Nothing alright, we need to get going or we are going to be late.' Just as Katsuro turned around Happy was right there making the stupidest face he could. Katsuro moved away from Happy and kept walking.

'Not even a smirk.' Natsu went into his thinking moment.

'What's making him so sad, he is never this serious.'

Natsu ran up to Katsuro. 'Hey, you gonna tell me whats wrong.'

'No'

'Why not?'

'Because Natsu it is peronal. We dont have time to waste.'

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. You really messed up with this one, Kaito."

 

Noctyr dropped down from his vantage point, before long he was in the streets of Magnolia. There were a lot of interesting things to consider, those boys who had stopped Kaito were stunningly powerful, things were about to get interesting, he just knew it. He was determined to see that he was part of it. First step, meet one of those interesting mage boys. He checked the missions before he left and knew the boy Katsuro and Natsu, a name he already knew, were on there way to stop some mages robbing local stores. Time to beat them there.

 

They were gathering around the counter of a store, two were kicking the shopkeeper and laughing, another was grabbing all the money in stock, and a fourth was on lookout. Who knew if it was the entire group, but Noctyr didn't care, that wasn't what he was here for.

 

"Now that's not very polite of you rapscallions!"

 

They froze, and turned toward him. The one on lookout barked at him. "Get out of here, man, you're no hero, just walk away!"

 

Noctyr laughed a bit to himself. "Oh I'm certainly no hero, but I'm not leaving." He brought up his red-gloved hand and shaped it like a gun. He aimed at each of them and pretended like he was firing at each one.

 

"Ready to leave now?"

 

They all laughed.

 

"Too bad then." He brought his hand back up, but this time when he pointed at the, red bolts shot from his fingertips and hit each one before they could even realize what what was happening. They crumpled, he had tried not to kill them, and they would all most likely would wake up hours later simply with some bad wounds, but Noctyr was already focused on his next action. He stood over the cowering shopkeeper and knelt down next to him.

 

"You're safe, go home to your family, sleep this off, you're okay." The man ran off instantly, with some hurried thanks. Noctys liked when people thanked him, though it wasn't his plan. He pulled up a chair around the unconscious thieves and put his feet up, Katsuro and Natsu would be here any minute to try and catch the theives Noctyr had already caught.

 

He put his finger tips up to his face and blew the magic smoke from them.

 

Now all he had to do was wait.

Natsu berst through the door of the shop. 'WE ARE FROM FAIRY TAIL, AND WE HAVE COME TO CATCH YOU!!!' 'Aye, aye.' 'Again Natsu, you just broke the door.'

'Right now a door doesnt matter when we have to stop theives.' Natsu then looked around and didnt see anything, no shop keeper, no theives. 'Where did everyone go?'

'Probably ran off, you and your yeeling i wouldnt be suprised.' Katsuro couldnt doubt the strange feeling he was getting from being in here, as if he was being watched.

A slow clap.

 

Noctyr walked out from a back room, the lights were all out and only a dim light bathed the room. He allowed himself to go on for about twenty second before he stopped and looked up at the two probably-confused boys and the strange cat they brought along.

 

"Bravo, bravo. You got here faster than I had expected, still rather slow, but hey, we can't all get to the party on time."

 

He swept his right arm up and pointed at Katsuro with his fingers in a gun shape. "You're an interesting boy, now aren't you?" He moved his hand to the side until he was pointing at Natsu; "You aren't too shabby yourself." He returned to Katsuro "But you...you defeated ol' Kaito, quite an interesting feat."

 

He cracked a smirk and lowered his hand until it was pointed at Katsuro's feet. "You really must show me what you used to beat him, really, I'd love to see it."

 

Suddenly a sharp snap, a bolt of magic blazed into the floor an inch from Katsuro's foot. Suddenly three more snaps, and smoke was rising from the floor around the newly-arrived group.

 

Noctyr raised his hand back to Katsuro.

 

"I hope you won't deny me an encore performance."

'Great, we are dealing with one that likes to put on a show.' 'Where is he, i will burn him to ash!!' 'Natsu I dont think it would be best to just attack randomly, we need to find him first.' Katsuro held his hand out, and small sparks started to go from his fingers to the floor. 'Happy, carry Natsu, both of you, get going.' 'Not on your life Katsuro!' 'I am not joking Natsu, move now, this is one opponent you cant defeat, and my magic is at it's best when i dont have someone i wish to have unarmed.' 'No we want to help you.' 'Please Happy, take Natsu to the nearest train station. I need to do this alone.' Happy reluctantly grabbed Natsu. Natsu flailed arund trying to get free. But Happy carried him off. 'Alright, its just you and me. You want to see a show, i will give you one.' Katsuro slammed his fist into the ground and sparks crackled all over the floor. Katsuro was able to see shadows because of the electric light among the smoke. He spotted the man's shadow. 'Found ya.' He held out his fist right at the shadow. 'Lightning Dragon Electric punch!"

Noctyr leaped into the air, twisting away from the attack, though some of the lighting shot into him. He landed, slightly sparking, but still smiling.

 

"Very good!" He laughed. "I can see how Jet Black fell to you, but unfortunately, unlike Kaito, I just won't stand there and take you're hits ; so c'mon, really come at me, I want to see what you can do!"

 

He strafed to the side and shot out a flurry of bolts towards Katsuro.

Katsuro dodged the bullets and then held his hands infront of his mouth. 'Lightning Dragon Slayer...Lightning breath!' A giant hord of electric sparks left his mouth as he fired it all at Noctyr.

"Haha, there we go!"

 

Noctyr leaped backward to the wall a few feet behind him, and pushed off from there into the air, skimming the top of the attack and taking some damage. He touched down easily and rolled back into the darkness to give him a chance to speak.

 

"That is what I'm looking for, consider me impressed, if only slightly. You live up to the skills I saw you display earlier. It's too bad you had to throw Natsu and Happy out, we could have had a downright party in here."

 

Some shadows shifted in the dark, light was creeping in from the damaged walls and ceilings, Katsuro's attacks were pretty ferocious, the simple force of them had done some damage. But Noctyr thought them to be pretty raw still, he lacked the precision Noctyr could use with his bullets. In the dark it didn't matter at all though, this wasn't a test of strength, Noctyr had just seen a demonstration of that, now it was time to see if Katsuro could hold his own with wits and reflexes. Just then Katsuro probably felt the light touch of Noctyr's pointer and middle fingers in their gun form, pointed straight at Katsuro's head.

 

"Boo."

Katsuro could feel Noctyr''s finger fire a bullet right at his head. He was tossed back through the dreseer that held books and other papers. Onec he was able to get the strength he dug himself out of the burial pile. 'Not bad at all...using darkness to your advantage...but that wont save you for long.' Katsuro took his two fingers and touched them together with his other hand. Sparks and lines of electricity started to flow between them. 'Your in for a shock!' Katsuro held up his fingers and started to fire bullets of electricity. The flew around the room hitting many targets. They may have missed Noctyr himself, but Katsuro had a brilliant idea. He Held out both of his hands that started to absorb the extra voltage. It formed a spear and Ktsuro aimed it at Noctyr.

"Very impressive, you're just as good as I thought."

 

Noc smiled, it was time for him to leave soon, Katsuro had passed his test. But this spear attack was bound to be...interesting.

 

"Well, aren't you going to throw it?"

 

Noc brought his hand up to point at Katsuro once more.

 

"I warn you though, you'll bring some undue grief to this poor shopkeeper, messing up his shop like this."

'I have done worse before, i can handle it.' Katsuro threw the giant spear at Noctyr. It sparked with a yellow gleam coming from it. A giant flash surrounded them all. Katsuro was breathing deeply, he massaged his shoulder and looked around to find a trace of Noctyr.

"Well done."

 

Noc needed a small moment to catch his breath, the kid certainly wasn't half bad. That was a powerful attack, and as the immense flash dimmed, Noc saw the damage it had done to the shop. Katsuro hadn't seen him yet. He had obviously evaded the attack, he wouldn't have been in any good condition if he hadn't, but there was hardly a chance Noc couldn't have avoided, the kid's attacks were immensely powerful, perhaps more so than some of Noc's, but Noc could out-pace any opponent he came across and his attacks were only a part of his effeciency in battle.

 

He looked down at his shoulders with a frown to see that they were slightly dusty, he brushed them off quietly. His shoulder stung, even the small bit that had happened to strike his shoulder was powerful. But he saw the toll it took on the kid, he probably wouldn't be able to pull another one off. He stepped back into Katusuro's view.

 

"Not bad there, Shocky, it's been fun, I'll give it to you."

 

An easy smile returned to his face.

 

"Work on your reflexes, and... try not to wear yourself out so much. We'll meet again, pretty soon, Shocky, until next time then."

 

He smirked at Katsuro and walked backward into the darkness.

 

With that he was gone.

Katsuro groaned, he had received some of the after effects of his attack. "I had drained too much of my magic energy, I wasn't able to finish h, the master will have a fit once he receives the damage costs. I need to get back to the-" Katsuro was cut off when he felt another sharp pain in his chest. He grabbed his chest to show that Noctyr wa able to get one of the bullets at him. "I have to find Natsu before I give out completely."

"Hey you, wait a second, i need to talk with you." said Kaien, appearing from out of nowhere, both strangely and mysteriously, approaching the weakened Katsuro with a seemingly serious look on Kaien's face, as Kaien had then said "tell me, do you know where the E.R.A HQ is?" said Kaien, wanting to know exactly where the E.R.A HQ was located, despite knowing very well how Katsuro was weakened, possibly to the point towards death maybe.

"E.R.A...what do you...want to know...about...them?" Katsuro gripped his shoulder. He didn't think that Noctyr's attacks actually hit him. That must have been how they worked. Effect them later, not the very instant.

"I want my brother's corpse back and i'll take on all of E.R.A's forces if they won't give it back to me so easily if i have to." Said Kaien, revealing his intentions to Katsuro who probably may or may not know that Kaien is actually Kaito's younger step brother and that it is his older brother Kaito's corpse that Kaien is talking about retrieving from E.R.A HQ and that if they do not hand it over as easily as Kaien wants to think that they will then he will have no choice whatsoever but to fight all of E.R.A just get Kaito's corpse back from them.

Katsuro walked steadily over to part of th shops counter and he leaned on it. "Sorry but, I don't know where they are...I have other things to do right now."

"Hmmm....well anyways, here, take this, it should help heal your wounds, if not all of them." said Kaien, handing a magical healing potion over to Katsuro, as a way of saying thanks to him, for giving Kaien, a complete and utter stranger towards Katsuro, who, he has never seen before in his entire life, information concerning E.R.A and that, was a good enough reason for Kaien to give Katsuro the healing potion, instead of saying thank you personally, which is a thing that Kaien isn't usually good with.

Katsuro tool the potion and drank it. He could feel the pain start to subside. Which was good. "Thanks." Katsuro said to Kaien. "I am sorry I didn't know anything, but it is getting late. I have to go, hopefully our paths cross again."

"Yeah.....i think that we will, see ya later." said Kaien, as he turned towards to the opposite direction of Katsuro's path, with a seemingly little smirk on Kaien's face, happy that he could at least help Katsuro even just a little before outright turning that little smirk of his into a full on serious look, as he proceeded to continue on with his plan of getting Kaito's body back from E.R.A HQ and give it a proper burial.

Joe lied on the couch in Lucys house as the night went on Joe looked up to the rook and began to think "that guy from today was an iron dragon slayer i wonder if what happened to me and natsu happened to him and Gajeel aswell Igneel raised me and Natsu separability but left both of us at the same the same day we both found ourselves alone with out Igneel anymore but somehow the two of us managed to meet each other through joining the same guild makes me wonder alot" Joe then looked over to see Lucy asleep "and then theres Lucy shes way to kind to me"

Katsuro got up back onto his feet. He pushed his body off the counter and stabilized himself. He was still sore from the shoulder down to his knees. Guess it couldn't be helped, he needed to return to the Master as soon as possible . Before people started to worry about him. He knew once he got back to the guild Natsu would have a fit, for getting excluded from the battle. But Katsuro did that for a reason, because some thing was very familiar about Noctyr, something that made chills go down his spine. Was Noctyr's ever involved with the Dark guild Raven's Rose? That one question bothered Katsuro the whole way home.

Kyou and Angel both made it to the client and got their mission to capture wizard bandits. "Okay, so we have to wait out till night comes and then stop them." Kyou declared. "Okay seems good." Angel replied. As nightfall was approching they began to get tired. They almost fell alseep went they heard some guys approching. "Here it is." One man said. "Yeah after this we head back to Raven Tail." Another said. "Raven Tail? Whats that?" Kyou asked. "I dunno." Angel replied. "Alright lets go to plan A-B." Kyou said. "A-B?" Angel asked. "Yeah, AMBUSH!" Kyou said as she jumped out and attacked one of the men. "That mark, she from Fairy Tail! Master would be pleased if he knew we captured a Fairy Tail wizard!" One guy said. "Then take this, fire fist of the flame god!" Kyou yelled as her flaming fist sent five guys into the air. "Now thunder dragon's kick! She yelled as she kicked the guys that were in the air went her electrified leg. "Now you're finished! Roar of the lighning-flame dragon god! She said as a lighning-flame blast came out from her mouth knocked the rest of the guys out. "Hey this is a cool sword. Huh, is changed size. I can make it bigger or smaller, so you have it Angel." Kyou said. "Thanks." Angel replied. They collected their reward and headed back to the guild.

Raven's Rose, a deadly Assassin's guild that was secret to most of the world. Only few knew about it, and few ever tried to face them. The guild was instrumented to only do their assignments the most forceful way possible. The people who were in that guild were mainly orphaned children or blood hungry thieves. Katsuro finally made it back to the guild. Most of his wounds were healed so he would be fine for now. Until he could hear Natsu. "What gives Katsuro, you can't just go an fight on your own like that!" "I had every reason to Natsu." "But come on I wanted to fight with that guy too!" "It wasn't your fight." Natsu kept on rambling for 15 minutes on how it was unfair of Katsuro to make him fight alone. But when Katsuro grunted did Natsu finally notice he had some scars. "Are you alright." "Better than before." "Well, next time don't just kick me out like that. I could have helped you." Natsu said with a smile. "I guess your right."

"Something on your mind?" Angel asked. "Huh, oh nothing, nothing." Kyou said. (What that guy said, seems weird. They come from a place called Raven Tail. They seem to have something against Fairy Tail. The names sound similar. I guess I'll ask the Master about it.) "Whoa, Angel what are you-"Angel cut in "We are going to Fairy Tail."

Angel used all of her magical power to reach Fairy Tail before nightfall. "We are here, Angel you can let me go now." Kyou said. Angel let go of Kyou and she landed on the ground and began to walk toward Fairy Tail. Kyou opened the doors and asked Mirajane "Hey, Mira is the master here?" "Yeah he is." Mira said. "Thanks." she said. "Hey, Master have you heard of Raven Tail." The Master's eyes widen. "What do you know?" "Nothing, except its a dark guild and that they have something against Fairy Tail." She said. The Master then said "Ivan." Kyou then noticed Gajeel's scent, "Gajeel, why dont you come out now?" Gajeel said "Guess you're pretty good and I am already handling Raven Tail."
