Kevin James Jimenez 16 Posted April 5, 2012 i read alot of people talk about how sora fall into darkness and the reason why he didn't become a keyblade master is because of sora giving in into darkness. this could be me being stupid but what was the darkness that is in sora's heart? was he prideful or i don't know anything really. AJTREY 70 Posted April 5, 2012 The only mention of Sora's darkness that I remember is the fact that, unlike Riku who was consumed by Darkness and thus was able to build up some sort of immunity to it (Like how the human body is able to build up an immunity to disease), Sora never had that chance, always remaining in the light. Thus, when he was exposed to some hard-concentrated darkness, he was unable to resist, and nearly fell.

Spiney 125 Posted April 5, 2012 so sora got into hardcore so he couldn't resist? LOL that is the only reason? Well I am sure that MX messing around with his mind didn't help matters much either.
KingdomHearts0123 18 Posted April 5, 2012 The way Sora fell into Darkness & failed the mark of mastery exam was by going after the illusions of Kairi, Riku, Terra, Aqua, Xion, Nomine, & Roxas he was'nt suppose to chase after them as a matter of fact in one of the cutscenes Riku calls out to Sora telling him to stop chasing after the illusions otherwise he wont wake up. Sora continues to go after the illusions & to fall into a trap whare he has that talk with braig then has to fight Xemnas. After he beats Xemnas, YMX appears & gets Sora on his agenst the floor whare his Trap by darkness & cant move. Sora then gets weaker & sinks into darkness & is then captured by YMX & is taken to the orgainization stronghold. At this point he failed the MoM exam because Riku, Mickey, & Lea had to save him. If was'nt for them MX would have been successful in putting part of his heart into Sora & he would have completely fell into darkness. In short, Sora faild the MoM exam because he almost fell into Darkness completely.

KH3 is about sora's MOM and defeating MXso at that point sora thought they were real?
Vanin1derland 1 Posted April 5, 2012 I heard that part of the reason he failed was because he was arrogant.
replika13 455 Posted April 5, 2012 i agree with KingdomHearts0123. Also Sora recveived Roxas painful memories and feelings, that made him more aggressive toward Xemnas and organisation XIII
