I think it has been cut, those trailers still were from a game under development

the kind of story happened now too though

Sora was held hostage by the Norts and Mickey couldn't do anything with Lea showing up in the end.. think of it

 

if this scenes would have happened in-game it still would be kinda big and showing up on a lot of places since maleficent stays a villain and lea should have shown up suddenly..
