KH3D (Spoilers) Is Ansem SoD actually revived?

Recommended Posts

I know that the common theory is that YMX has somehow entered into the KH timeline from an alternate reality and rounded up all the Norts, but I disagree with this . . .

Apprentice Xehanort is revived from the destruction of Xemnas and Ansem SoD, so wasn't brought back due to YMX directly.

Xemnas is brought back because he gained a heart while as a nobody so when he was destroyed he gave rise to another nobody which looks exactly the same and has same memories (there is no way of telling whether someone is a primary or secondary Nobody so just go with this for the time being).

Ansem SoD lacks a body as his vessel was Riku . . . so has Ansem SoD just found another vessel or has he been plucked from Kh1? If he has then he would have to return to be destroyed by Sora or else AX could not be revived who is THE MAIN Xehanort as he is the only true somebody. So do we know for sure that SoD is revived along with the other incarnations of Xehanort? Or is the SoD that exists for real just the brown cloaked version from the past taking on the form that is in Riku/Soras memories? As far as I know, only Riku sees SoD so it could be a recurring Castle Oblivion thing or somehow the small amount of SoD that was in Riku's heart has left and manifested as what Riku/SoD looked like, just like how Vanitas looked like Sora because of his interactions with Sora's heart.

If anyone can clarify I will love you guys forever.

Ansem SoD time traveled back to YMX's time line and told him of their plans and then told him to time travel to different time lines and gather Xehanorts hence why Xemnas and Ansem SoD are back.

I still think this is a load of crap . . . I'm never going to like this even if its completely canon. Everything can be explained without involving alternate realities and I think it should. If Xemnas is taken from KH1-KH2 time period he has to be returned and wouldn't have all his proper memories . .. . If SoD was returned he would have had to be taken and returned too. I hate time travel and I can never accept "YMX took everyone from their timelines but if everyone is essentially the same person they wouldn't care about sacrificing their bodies and facing damnation even if they knew what was going to happen. But Xemnas and SOD are so emotional in KH1 in 2 and are suprised by what Sora/Riku do so I just can't accpet this explaination, sorry. (I'm going to rage against it until the english version is released just cos.)

Yes they both have to return. YMX even says this when talking to Riku.
