The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted March 31, 2012 Okay, so as anyone has recently seen, directors are re-releasing their movies in 3D. Examples are: Toy Story 1 and 2, Stars Wars: The Phantom Menace, and Titanic. I have mixed feelings for this. On one side it's awesome to see a movie you love in 3D, and it also provides lots of cash for the movie producers. But on the other hand, I'm getting the feeling that they are running out of ideas for new movies, or they are simply getting tired of making new movies. I would like to hear from you guys on what you think the landscape will be for movies in the future. 1 Shard the Gentleman reacted to this

hatok 6,413 Posted March 31, 2012 Eh, more like 'We can convince people to pay full price for our ten year old movie!' ? Profit
animemylove 439 Posted March 31, 2012 honestly i like they're bring back some of the classics that a lot of kids haven't seen today, they're the movies parents would want their kids to see in theaters rather than just buying a remastered version .. but i think 3d is just a feature because of the fad, i don't think anyone seriously wants these movies would come back in 3d. That's a very interesting theory you have there.
King Riku 2,063 Posted March 31, 2012 There are plenty of good books and such that would make great movies. They just see all the hype about 3D things, and think they can make more money by basically doing nothing.
