go to around 5:00 YMX says ansem SOD gave YMX his brown robe to go inside that destiny islands cave, then YMX said inorder to cross time ( TIME TRAVEL! ) You need to cast aside your flesh, so he replicated him self and was able to aquire the power to time travel through that door on destiny islands!

*Facepalm* You have completely misinterpreted the translation. What YMX says is that Ansem, having cast aside his body and become simply Xehanort's heart(less), gains the ability to time travel. He then travels back to the past and seemingly manipulates his younger self, who "does not realise" it was a future version of himself he was talking to, into setting out on his journey. After that, Ansem travels to his relative present and talks with Sora, and then goes inside Riku ad gradually begins to possess him, at which point he no longer can time travel as he has regained a body.

Where has it actually been stated or shown that YMX can time travel? We don't know if the YMX in DDD has time travelled to the present. He could be an invocation of Xehanort's past self made possible by the Realm of Sleep, or even a fully transformed Xehanort puppet e.g. possibly Vanitas.

If there is indeed a scene in which it is proved that YMX is in fact the original Xehanort who has time travelled to the present, please post the link. (Edit: The time manipulative abilities he demonstrates in his boss fight do not count)

 

Also, if he does indeed prove to be the actual Young (master) Xehanort, then it can be construed from the information we now have that at some point he too must have cast aside his body.

Edit: Whilst the translation does indeed suggest he is a 'past' Xehanort, the generally iffy nature of the translation still leaves a few questions and gaps in the information. Here's hoping for a slightly better translation soon.

You've really misunderstood this scene. Even with the subtitles the way they are now.

 

YMX explained it that; he was told of what his life would be like until KH1 by Ansem SOD. From this, YMX grew up with knowledge about his life and made decisions based on this knowledge and research which led to the events of BBS. Although it seems he did not expect for Terra to fight against him so much, he confidently knew he would still have control over his body. After that, Xehanort seemed to lose his memories (perhaps he did but regained most/all of them very quickly). He then thought up the idea of Organization XIII and with the knowledge that his heart could travel through time began researching people's hearts, heartless and Nobodies. He decided to have Organization XIII be made up of Nobodies, while his heart would become a heartless (a being that is a manifestation of the darkness of a heart) which would go back to YMX to tell him everything.

 

Ansem SOD after doing this then went to Destiny Isle at the start of KH1 with the intention of picking out a new vessel. Riku but kept his eyes on Sora, just in case. He did not give YMX his cloak and YXM cannot time travel, except in the world of sleep, which isn't really time-travelling. It does raise questions where the mysterious figure is concerned, but I suppose you could say it's either non-canon or a dream. YMX did not actually go there, since he has a body and his not just a mere heart or heartless and therefore cannot time travel.

I'm not saying anyone is wrong or right but, it is probably wise to wait until a more reliable translation is out or a couple more translations arise that way you can compare them. I say this from experience, it is extremely hard to get an exact translation from one language to another especially English since it has so many words with numerous definitions.
