Ryan 188 Posted March 25, 2012 So now that the rhythm game Theatrhythm Final Fantasy will have the same name as its Japanese counterpart. I think that Bravely Default might be called Final Fantasy Dimensions when its localized. Think about it, they only trademarked the name in North America and Europe, they never revealed much, and the game is a spin-off like The 4 Heroes of Light. It would make sense, especially since the game has something to do with dimensions and the American and European people mostly wouldn't know what Bravely Default is, only hardcore gamers really would. Most people wouldn't think SE made it, or something. This definitely can't be a secret game. Nomura said there wouldn't be a new Dissidia, so I can't see a game like it. What do you think? Remember that this is not official, so don't say how I confirmed it! I swear if I hear that one more time I will scream. It's annoying!
hatok 6,413 Posted March 25, 2012 Last I checked, Nomura said there would be no new Dissidia's in the form of a fighting game. Theatrhythm was technically the next Dissidia. But you know what? Nomura's word doesn't mean much. He said there would be no Birth By Sleep Final Mix.

He did say that there would not be another Dissidia fighting game, so you are technically correct.
Setrex 1,031 Posted March 30, 2012 I heard that SE didn't want Bravely Default to have the words Final Fantasy in it, that's why it's called Bravely Default: Flying Fairy. I suppose they want to see how well it'll do if it doesn't have Final Fantasy slapped on the title. Which can work out good in some cases I guess. I'll be buying it day 1 should it be localised (which I assume it will be seeing as Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light was) any ways. Bravely Default is basically a sequel to The 4 Heroes of Light in most ways, minus the story and characters.
XIIISwords 1,059 Posted March 30, 2012 Slight correction. Nomura said that there'd be no more Dissidia games like the others. Which means there may be another Dissidia down the line, but it would greatly differ from the others. Theatrhythm could be one, but who knows, in three years we might get Dissidia for the PS3.
