But I think the reason why people don't like Kairi too much(especially if she were to be with Sora) is because of her lack of character development. Sure you get a feel for her character, but she doesn't really change at all throughout the series and she's kinda boring when you get down to it. And Kairi is a Princess of Heart that doesn't necessarily make her royalty and even if she was she doesn't have to go for a prince after all Jasmine fell for Aladdin.
