Spirit Battles Roleplay (Sign-ups)

In a strange world very far from Earth, there was life that was very similar to humans. But they were unique. Every person who lived there were born with a special "Spirit" that contained their soul. It is not healthy to be to far away from your spirit. Without the spirits, the people would contain no soul, thus creating zombie-like beings. These spirits took the forms of all kinds of things, mostly mixtures of different animals. Some even looked mechanical. (kinda like pokemon). Spirits can speak with their counterpart through telepathy, but rarely are they able to acually speak to anyone else. Most spirits are small, but when it gains enough energy, it has enough strength to transform into its Final Form. Final Forms of different spirits depend on their powers, and are much larger than their normal self and is much more powerful. Of course, Final Form can only be used sparingly and in emergencies. Once all of the energy is drained, Spirits will often try to use some of their counterpart's energy to return to their normal state. This is why Final Form is risky in battle, because it leaves both you and your Spirit drained.

 

The people lived in peace and harmony until the "Rage" began. The Rage was a horrible time in which people conducted experiments on what would make one's spirit stronger. In other words, be able to create energy to keep a Spirit in Final Form. Of course, this project created destruction. The Spirits of the test subjects couldn't take it, and they were blown to dust. Without these people's Spirits, they had no souls. They broke out of the labs and began to destroy any Spirit they could find, because they had no emotions but resentfulness. The scientists called these beings with no souls "Ragers"

 

The people are beginning to fight back the Ragers and are using their Spirits for battle. Young people battle each other for fun, but when they turn 17, they are forced to fight against the Ragers. They do not necessarily join a huge army, but when they see a Rager they must fight them.

 

Rules:

 

1. Remember to refer to the KH13 roleplaying rules.

 

2. Don't make your character and/or Spirit seem invincible.

 

3. If you want your Spirit to be able to speak, you must choose another power that isn't as strong.

 

4. Be sure to decribe both you and your Spirit's personality. (They don't have to be the same.)

 

5. MILD LANGUAGE! You can swear a little if you really have to, but don't overdo it.

 

6. Your character must be between the ages of 13-30.

 

7. Try to keep the side plots to a minimum.

 

8. This is for FUN. Be sure to give everyone a chance to type, and don't beat up on a particular character.

Bio: when he was 13, he heared about Rage, but thought nothing of it until he was almost killed at 17, after that expirience, he fashoned his own armor to protect himself, his spirit trains alongside him when they're not in a fight, his spirit, Gem first went into final form about 6 months before his 18th birthday, they now fight Rage to preserve all spirits in the world.

Spirit Personality: Total opposite of Michael, mostly hides behind him and doesn't talk much. However, in his final form, he is super aggressive and talks the entire time.

 

Bio: Michael and Gaigan have been together forever, they have never been apart. Once Michael joined the military, he finally found out Gaigan's abilities when he protected Michael from gunfire and ate all the bullets and created stronger ones. After being honorably discharged for his acts of valor. He began doing freelance protection services until the Rager epidemic, when the government hired him to help control the Rager's. He goes city to city helping those in need and finding new friends.

Aai and Daryl were seperated when the Rage just began. Unfortunetly, once she saw her brother again 2 years later, she watched his Spirit Tyso turn to dust before her eyes. Aai travels, looking for a glimpse of her half dead brother once again.

Human Bio: Mother died during Xandra's Birth. She found out that she was a fox and ran away from her father. She is now living in an orphanage. She dose not talk to others because she thinks that they will find out about her father and mother. Most of the time she sneaks out of the orphanage to go shoot things in the forest. Constantly trianing to fight Ragers. She was an only child.
