In the manga, Sora was lit on fire by that heartless in Wonderland, and cure worked fine. And don't say cure doesn't exist in cutscenes. Donald used it on Sora in CoM. Seriously. Cure. Then I saw Mickey get serious and I decided the scene was worth it, because it shows that not only does Sora not bother caring about people that he has decided don't have rights, but also Mickey is awesome.
