Ryan 188 Posted March 15, 2012 We know so little of YMX. I think I know why. Notice how Nomura has never revealed the name of MF. He still calls him "the mysterious kid", the reason why is because his name is a spoiler. Think about it. Nomura said that "he's not necessarily a new character". So, if he's an old character like he said, revealing the name could spoil the game majorly. I know it's stupid, but I just realized this now... 1 ssceles reacted to this
Rob 5,571 Posted March 15, 2012 Nomura didn't fully spoil? I don't believe it.
Ryan 188 Posted March 15, 2012 Nomura didn't fully spoil? I don't believe it. No! Because, why won't he reveal his name? Every other character who was introduced in a new KH game has their name revealed. But he's different, because he's a character we somehow know. I know you're probably being sarcastic, but like I said, I know it's stupid but I just thought of it now.
ssceles 134 Posted March 15, 2012 (edited) Yes, he had a very round about way of answering that very simple question. 'Who is he?' He didn't actually specifically say he was Xehanort, almost implying that perhaps to say so out right would be factually untrue. Perhaps in all the very same ways Riku wasn't Ansem when he called himself as much in KH2, that Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, was never Ansem to begin with, and that Apprentice Xehanort had been Terra all of an hour previously. By bringing these points up and coupling them with some points of interest >for a human, why is Master Xehanort so insanely hellbent on doing what he's up to? >how does he know how to do what he did to Braig and Isa, that eventually changed their eyes? because whatever it is he did, that's not something just any human can do. >he killed what was probably his childhood best friend (Eraqus) ------- one begins to wonder if Xehanort is just another stolen name, and the problem predates even him. Another victim of a nameless, name-stealing enemy, who corrupted his personality and ruined his good name. Saying that he's the Mysterious Figure boss without explicitly saying he's Xehanort could be tantamount to calling the possessed Riku in KH1 'Ansem' which is more accurate than continuing to call him Riku. Nomura hasn't outright said that the main villain of this game is Xehanort at all, but has stated that his true form would be revealed. It merely could be that he's not at all the bad guy he seems, Xehanort. And if he's not... will anyone even believe him? Would anyone believe Riku's not responsible for 'his' own actions if they had not previously been his friend and known what he was really like not under Ansem's possession? I don't think nothing of Nomura not giving a direct answer to the very simple question. But it -could- just be nothing, it's true. But if it turns out otherwise, it was our first head's up. He wouldn't call him Xehanort if it wasn't Xehanort. He didn't call him Xehanort. So maybe.... just maybe... it's simply not Xehanort. Because it's someone or something older even than Xehanort, who used Xehanort, used Terra, and plans on using Riku. But that's entirely my speculation. I'm just as happy if it's just Xehanort. YMX is Young Master Xehanort. Think about it, it was a charecter we know! WELLL young master xehanort was briefly introduced in BBS, making it more likely that we would of forgoten him and moved on. Well thats just me, but i hope it is someone TOTALLY unexpected, ya know?

Sibyl 32 Posted March 15, 2012 http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.png i see what u did there! ur saying that there could be another man who took over xehanorts body like he did to terra, that would explain alot for his insane actions. but instead of it being a person could it just be personified darkness? a peice of darknees with its own agenda, will ect. 1 A Black Sun reacted to this
sonnyinsanity 3 Posted March 16, 2012 Well, in BBS. Xehanort took interest of the darkness. why? and on the X-Blade. Why? and then he turned evil. Young Xehanort, in the islands. decided to leave. and maybe the darkness from the outside of the worlds got to him. or something in it. Maybe the true form of the real Ansem & Xemnas isn't Xehanort but forms of darkness that manipulated Xehanort. Or idk.
ssceles 134 Posted March 16, 2012 Even in the newest interview, Nomura has done it again! This time he avoided discussing Xehanort entirely when he was mentioned.
