Tsuki,the overseer and Fiore watched as they walked up. Before they knew it,a big explosion,next glance,nothing was left behind. Just a big crater.

 

"Impossible...Nate...is he...?"Tsuki muttered with eyes wide. "He can't be gone...can he...?"Tsuki started to run.

 

"Tsuki wait!"Fiore yelled as she helped the overseer. Rosalinda didn't move. She didn't speak. Surely it had to be a dream,it had to. But Chaos' confirmation was to real for it to be a dream.

 

"It can't...I'm dreaming...I'm dreaming..."Rosalinda muttered. She glanced down at her claws,they were still covered in his blood. She carefully felt Nate's necklace around her neck. Hot tears fell down her face as she dug her claws against the dirt beneath her. "It's a dream,it's a dream...it had to be...Nate...wake me up...please wake me up..."Rosalinda clasped her claws together infront of her forehead. "Please wake me up Nate,tell me it's a nightmare,that it's all alright,that it's all a dream,why won't I wake up?!"Rosalinda screamed in frustration. If she was in pieces before then now she was shattered to the point speaking was a struggle that hurt to do so.

 

"AMANDA!!!"

 

Rosalinda snapped her head to Runa's direction. Infront of him Amanda,as he came transparent ever passing moment. She didn't even take a second to analyze as her wings flapped and she was instantly at Runa's side,pointing her blade at Amanda. As brave of a front she put up,it was obvious it was only a front. Her entire body was shaking,she couldn't keep a right aim at Amanda with the keyblade because of it. Tears continued to fall down her face. She tried to look strong,she truly tried,but her body and eyes,they couldn't lie.

 

"S-St...Stay away from him...!!!"Rosainda struggled to yell as she gritted her teeth. Runa was their son,if anything,the only thing left of what could've been their life together. Rosalinda extended her arm to get Runa closer,but as she touched him,her arm went through his transparent body. She turned to him wide eyed. Surely she had expected as much,right? Without one he could not exist. That little hope that maybe he could stay was fading,literally. "Runa...?"Rosalinda muttered,barely making a sound as for the moment she had forgotten about Amanda,her focus on Runa as she tried to touch him again but her arm went through again. Her violent sobs were so much that she could barely speak at all by this point. "Not you too...I beg of you...please stay..." Reality and hopes clashed inside Rosalinda's mind. Tsuki ran up,standing between Rosalinda and Runa and Amanda.

 

"Stay back,Amanda. You've done enough...it's all over for you!"Tsuki snapped as she glanced at Rosalinda,broken beyond repair at this point. "We're all suffering. I know you could care less...but can you have just a bit of heart of this whole situation?!"Tsuki yelled.

As the sky grew darker the roar of Endless echoed throughout the Lastalia as the King of Oblivion grew closer and closer towards becoming Overdrive. The surrounding area near endless shattered and vanished as rubble fell from the sky in bulk. From the rubble on the ground moving rocks could be seen as a badly injured Musica emerged covered in blood while he used his body as a shield to project Elie who laid on the ground under him "Musica!" Looking to Elie with a half conscious look on his face Musica spoke with an exhausted voice "Don't worry this amount of damage is nothing....Haru keep going" Upon finishing his sentence Musica collapsed completely losing consciousness upon seeing this Elie took hold of Musica and held onto him tightly as she looked towards the bellowing Endless "Haru" meanwhile outside of the Lastalia the battle against Lucia's golem army continued as The Elite and armies of the world fought against them restlessly looking towards what seemed like an endless army Michelle looked to the darkening sphere of what should of been the lastalia "Those kids better not be dead" smashing a number of golems with a single blow Gildarts looked to Michelle "That lot are to stubborn to die i wouldnt worry about them" appearing along side his wife as they fought against the golem's Cole spoke "As long as Nate deals with Byakuran and Haru deals with Lucia things should be fine" "In the end were counting on Elie the most as long as she uses to deal with Endless everything will work out as long as she can do it" Suddenly destroying a large group of golems with a single magical blow Michelle spoke with a certain voice "Elie's no different to Joe in allot of ways i have no doubt she'll succeed (Haru Elie Nate please we're all counting on you)" Meanwhile back within the Lastalia and within Endless Haru and Lucia were locked in there final clash Lucia using Dark Amelia was release a over powering dark energy from his strike and was forcing Haru back "it's over its all over!!!" feeling the tremendous power from Lucia's hatred Haru could feel himself being pushed back more and more "(I can't lose here i must not lose)" feeling himself being overpower by dark amelia Haru attempted to force himself to push forward until suddenly voices of all his friends began to ring in his head all of them calling out his name but one voice rang out stronger then all the other's as it cried out "Haru Don't Give Up!!!" Suddenly the pure within Haru's blade began to glow with a radiant shine to it a strong aura of white surrounded Haru's blade over sizing the dark aura of dark amelia greatly as Haru roared out finally pushing forward "UUWWOOORRRR!!!!" Beginning to feel the force of Haru's power Lucia could feel himself finally being pushed back "This world..." finally feeling the full strenght of Haru's power Dark Amelia began to crack until with one powerful swing Dark Amelia shattered completely and Lucia was engulfed by the light of Haru's strike "Isn't ready to meet it's end yet!!!" falling back from the force of Haru's strike blood burst from Lucia's mouth as he hit the floor finally defeated looking to the defeated Lucia Haru dropped Oath of the Worlds to the ground and walked towards Lucia as he did the Night sky like space they had been fighting in began to turn pure white "This is..." "Stellar memory is dissolving when this place turns completely void it marks the beginning of Overdrive" "hum can't let this place go void then i guess" slowly the defeat lucia began to raise himself to his feet as he did he spoke "Haru what is it that humans live for love or hatred to create or destroy living in this world is utterly pointless humans exist to do nothing more then await there own deaths this world it only means a timeline to me Aciela's bloodline had decided my fate i have no future..." as Haru looked to Lucia he noticed as Lucia's body slowly began to break away into nothing as he spoke Haru looked to Lucia in shock while Lucia did not look at all surprised "That's why i wanted to go to the new world in the new world i could of found my future it was in that world my true future lied but it's to late now" "Your wrong!!! This world does have your future waiting for you to create it!!!" "This worlds ending soon" "This world will never end! Hurry Lucia take my hand" Looking to haru with a content smile on his face as he crumbled away Lucia spoke his final words "Haru... It's all up to you know..." attempting to reach Lucia before he faded from existence Haru reached out only to grasp the air as Lucia completely faded away finally defeated "Lucia!!!"

Runa stared at his hands began losing their colour, becoming intangible even to himself. "Just because you want me leave, doesn't mean that I will." Amanda dropped Kale's body on the floor, leaning down and putting a hand on his chest, his half of the heart of Chaos raising out of his chest. "Finally, I am complete." Amanda then began to draw the Chaos into her body, absorbing it. Her hair began to turn black as her eyes glowed crimson, her body becoming pale white. "Damn it..." Runa stared at the ground, tears running out of his eyes. (Dad... I'm sorry... I couldn't do a damn thing. And now, I'm going to vanish, like I was never here. My Keyblade has become as intangible as me. If only I had my Ring!) Runa froze, looking up slightly at where Amanda was stood. Runa then grit his teeth and ran at Amanda."You're existence is doomed, you can't do anything to me now." Runa was about to hit Amanda as he suddenly flew straight through her. "Amanda... You were the one who raised me, who taught me what was right and wrong. So now, it's my responsibility to stop you." "You were only a pawn in my plan. From your timeline, who do you think was really in charge? Lucia died at the hands of Haru and Byakuran at the hands of Nate. They lived through their fights and I had not been found out. I then disguised myself as Lucia and began the war. The person who doomed your future, was me. I then returned to this time using a time leap and altered the future. I just wasn't expecting you to follow after me." Runa stood behind Amanda with wide eyes before biting his lip. "Then... All this time... The real enemy I've been searching for." Bright flames shot out from Runa's hands as he put Nate's Vongola Ring on, Amanda looking back with wide eyes as Runa's body became solid again. "IT'S ALWAYS BEEN YOU!!" Runa then spun around and punched at Amanda, who managed to block with her swords. "Your existence... it returned?!" "Even if it's only for a little bit... I'll destroy you once and for all!!" "Interesting! Bring it on!" Amanda slashed forward with her Oblivion and Oathkeeper, slashing at him with all her might. Runa dodged, using his flames to manoeuvre around her attacks. Amanda then kicked Runa hard in the gut, shooting him back a little before running at him with her swords. "Let me show you the move I used to defeat Kale." Amanda swung her swords out wide before jumping at Runa, thee swords glowing black and white. "Starburst Stream!" Amanda then initiated a string of sword strikes that Runa found himself unable to block or evade. The amount of slashes building up onto his body until Amanda thrusted both her sword through his chest and gut. "GAHH!!" "Another dead Silverston, could this day get any better?" "I could take you to hell." Runa's black and white wings began glowing. Amanda quickly jumped back, pulling her swords out from him. Runa began to raise up to the sky, nearing the door to Kingdom Hearts, his body starting to bleed. "... wait... what are you doing?" "This door will not open for you ever again, and I'm going to make sure of that." Runa suddenly threw his right hand up, his palm hitting the front of the door. The door then transformed into a spiralling light of black and white, shooting outwards into the heavens. "If you want an attack that will change the fate of this universe, then you can have it!!" Runa raised his left hand, clenching his fingers slightly before outstretching it downwards, pointing it straight down at Amanda. "That pose... It's the same as Nate's X-Burner... You can't be serious..." Amanda took a step back before falling to the ground, looking up at Runa. "Do you have any idea how long I've set this into motion?! You can't just take all that effort and throw it away!! I have worked too hard for this! You can't do this to me!!" Out from Runa's back came six wings, the top and bottom ones on each side being white, and the middle ones being being the darkest black. "Gamma-Ray..." Runa's eyes shot open, an image of Nate appearing next to Runa, visible to everyone watching. "NO!! I WON'T LET THIS HAPPEN!! Kingdom Hearts IS MINE!! THE FUTURE IS MINE!!" Amanda flew straight at Runa in a fit of rage, purple energy trailing around her. "BURST!!!" Runa then let out a huge burst of white energy, wide enough to engulf the entirety of the previous crater and causing the entire world to tremble under it's pressure. Amanda continued to push through as much as possible, reaching upwards at the power of the gods before she was overwhelmed, her body vaporizing in the blast. The energy quietened down and Runa breathed heavily, seeing both parts of the heart of Chaos. He flew over to them slowly and took them into his hand. "So... This is what I'm supposed to do." Runa put the pieces together, forging the true Heart of Chaos. Runa then floated down to Rosalinda, standing in front of her as he stabbed his Keyblade into the ground behind him. "Mom... Don't feel bad about Dad. I promise, I'll make my way inside Kingdom Hearts and bring him back. I promise. So keep living, have hope, and someday... You'll see him again, I'm sure of it." Runa hugged his mother tight before he started fading away, the heart of Chaos fading with him. Nate's ring falling to the floor as he disappeared and Runa's voice echoed through the air. "Never forget me."

Rosalinda did not move as she stared into empty space.

 

"Runa...?"Rosalinda muttered. His voice seemed to echo inside her mind,those words repeating over and over again. Memories rushed aside,feelings all attacked at once like hungry spiders preying on a trapped butterfly. They were gone. Both of them. They were all if any family she had left,any hope she had left of a happy end. All was gone. Were the Stargazers truly doomed to dead ends?

 

"Rosalinda..."Tsuki muttered,taking a step closer as she watched Rosalinda's darkness carefully act on their own as if a protective shield. Rosalinda carefully picked up the ring,holding it gently in her claws as her Angel of Depravity form refused to give in just yet,the emotions concurring at the moment refused to let it go,as if trying to shield from any harm. She wiped off the dirt of it gently,her entire body shaking as warm tears fell down her cheeks. Her parents,Joe,Tsuko,now them? Even for a being of darkness,her heart could not take any of it any longer. Her strong emotional shield shattered as she simply snapped. She closed her eyes tightly,arching her back as she let out a distorted scream/roar that echoed across the Lastalia territory. Tsuki flinched. It was pain,sadness,anger,utter distress. Tsuki,nor Fiore or the overseer had ever heard anything like it before. Tsuki took a step forward,but the overseer stopped her.

 

"Let her mourn,it is truly the only thing we can do right now,that will do her good. Let the emotions finally be free...she's been hiding them for a long time."The overseer explained. The three of them watched sourly,as Rosalinda let out every bit of negative emotion that was built up inside from day one. This easily lasted for minutes before she collapsed from exhaustion. She was in pieces,and there wouldn't be an easy way to fix them back.

As the battle with Lucia finally ended within Endless outside of Endless things were starting to become extremely dangerous Elie looked towards Kingdom Hearts to see the strong chain that bound it both to Endless and the Lastalia. Just then as Elie looked around the area she began to notice the now missing aura's of three strong figures quickly turning to the direction of where Nate and Bykurans battle should of been taking place Elie looked with a face of worry as she saw no fighting taking place "Nate and Runa there aura's i cant sense them at all but Byakuran's aura is gone as well does that mean Nate won" Just then as Elie began to wonder Endless suddenly began to deform in shape taking on the appearance of a cartoon character that had been pumped up with way to much air ready to burst at any moment "Haru please hurry i wont be able to hold back the Overdrive much longer" As Elie looked towards Endless a worried expersion upon her face within Endless Haru now floated within a white and empty space it had been a few minutes since Haru's battle with Lucia had ended and Haru now found himself alone and trapped within this empty space swinging his sword in frustration Haru tried again and again to force himself out of the space he found himself in until finally realizing it was pointless "DAMMIT!!!" as Haru roared out some of Lucia's final words wrong through his head "(When this place turns to void it marks the beginning of overdrive)" "dammit theres no time anymore time..." taking a slight sigh Haru let go of Oath of the World and with a calm voice spoke out as he spoke a link formed a link between Haru and "Elie..." "Haru?" looking around the area around her Elie looked for Haru in confusion "Haru where are you?" "still within endless's body" "but but your voice" "i defeated Lucia" "Really? hurry and come out now Overdrive will start soon" "there's no floor no walls no exit" to haru's words a face of shock filled Elie's face "what?" "i cant get out. Dont worry about me just release your Etherion on Endless Elie!" To Haru's words a look of complete disbelieve filled Elie's face "I've already tried my best... but this is the only way..." "wait i dont understand" "there's no time defeat endless and save the worlds" with a look of rage elie roared out "No!! I wont release Etherion until you come out!!" "You want to let the universe be destroyed!!" "Dont give up yet! Hurry and come out Haru!" "even if there's a glimpse of a chance i wont give up on saving this universe!!" "No! Hurry and come out!!!" "Elie your the only one who can save us all now!!" "No!!" As Elie yelled out tears began to roll down her face endlessly "Elie" "i dont want this!! Lucia!!! Give me back Haru!!!" "Elie Use Etherion now!!!!" "I cant i cant do it!" "Elie the time for hesitation is over we dont have any time left" shaking her head to Haru's words Elie feel to her knee's her tears still streaming "Elie!!" "I thought you said everyone had to come back alive nobody was aloud to die...." suddenly Elie screamed out in frustration "You said after this war you would find a place to stay with me!!!!!" clenching his fist tightly Haru lowered his head "I did... but.... this is the only way.... If you still resist to fire Etherion it'll mean the end of everything!!!" "a world without Haru i dont want that" "Elie!! to many people have sacrificed so much for this moment for you to hesitate now you gave up your own life not once but twice its for this moment that Joe Ezio Shiba and Sieg gave there lifes for!!!" holding her face attempting to hold back the tears Elie forced herself to speak "i know" "you dont know all the pain all the suffering endured up until now it was all endured so you could stop endless!!" "I know but..." as Elie and Haru spoke endless began to expand in size its body becoming far to much for it to handle energy burst from the beasts body none stop ripping up the surrounding area "i only have you on my mind right now...its not easy fate lead us to one another... its really not easy" suddenly with those words Elie and Haru found themselves within a blank space Haru was smiling towards Elie and Elie looked towards Haru teary eyed "thats why you must do this Elie..." slowly Haru walked towards Elie "We meet each other in this universe if everything was to end now our meeting would vanish along with everything else everything we shared along our journey dont tell me your will to sacrifice those memories" suddenly Haru hugged the teary eyed elie tightly "lets project this universe Elie" suddenly vanishing once again the teary eyed Elie found herself standing before endless once again suddenly with Oathkeeper appearing in her right hand an over whelming energy surrounded Elie "Haru..." with tears rolling down her face none stop Elie completely released Etherions power from her body a radiant light bursting towards Endless "I love you" with tears hanging by each of his eyes Haru responded to Elie "i love you to Elie" with a dark and demon like roared the light of etherion engulfed Endless quickly the entirety of the Lastalia tembled as the entirety of the Lastalia was engulfed by Etherions light 

 

Outside of the Lastalia the warriors of the universe watched as the dark sphere that had been the Overdrive vanished revealing the Lastalia once again in the shape of a crystal like world as the Lastalia appeared not only did the remains of Lucia's golem army vanish but also Kingdom Hearts looking to this Michelle looked to the members of the Elite and roared out an order "Quickly all members of the Elite to the Lastalia we need to make sure those kids are alive!!"

 

Meanwhile back within the Lastalia the light of Etherion had finally faded revealing that Endless Lucia Byakuran and Amanda had all finally been defeated.

Slowly lifting himself from the rubble of the fighting Musica looked around the area to find himself in a now crystal like island type of area slowly Musica looked around until he noticed Elie knelt on the ground staring into space "Elie" suddenly appearing Plue ran towards Elie as Musica looked around "Endless he's really finish? Haru... where is he?" finally reaching Elie Plue looked towards her only to receive a surprised reaction to Elie seeing him "Wahh! What's this strange bug?" Hearing Elie's words Musica looked to her with a face of shock as he slowly walked towards her "Elie you?" slowly turning to Musica Elie looked to him with a confused look on her face "Ahh...who are you?" with a look of utter shock on his face Musica put his hand to his face as the tears began to roll as Musica finally realized what had happened looking to the confused and lost Elie asking who she was and where she was Musica could only feel pity towards her "(Elie)"

 

One Year Later

 

"huh hard to believe a full years already come and gone since that day" "Our we getting sentimental Musica" "eh..." Suddenly hearing a women's voice behind him Musica turned to see Michelle standing behind him carrying a small baby boy who more then likely only a few months old "Michelle what are you doing here?" "I said I'd bring little JJ to see his auntie Elie before we all head off for the memorial" Looking to the small baby in Michelle's arms a questioning look filled Musica's face "Uh... this always confuses me but wouldn't JJ be Elie's Uncle or great uncle considering he's the son of her great grandfather?" "Do you really want to go into detail about this you'll just end up giving yourself a headache" "probably right auntie Elie it is" "So where is Elie i thought she'd be here by now since your here" "i say she's just finishing up in work i came a little to early for once i think" taking a seat beside Musica Michelle began to question him "hey have any of Elie's memories come back yet" "No and it doesn't seem like they intent to either" "i pity Elie in so many ways she lost more then anyone on that day if we wanted we could just tell her the whole truth of things since it would only be right considering she's the only one whos completely oblivious of the past" "Everyone agreed last year what were doing is for the best. To defeat endless Elie had to sacrifice Haru in other words she pretty much killed him with her own hands i can sympathize with her feelings from that time even now to her forgetting should be more blissful Elie is already pitiful enough its better to not make her remember her sacrifices are great enough" "I guess your right when i think back now when i saw how Rosalinda was after losing Nate and Runa emotions like that i really would not wish them on Elie" placing a hand ontop of little JJ's head Michelle gave a light smile "its better to let her live only remembering the happy memories that wont hurt her but today i wonder if going there will trigger anything" "owe ya what times the meeting suppose to be" "Were suppose to be meeting here around here in the next hour so everyone should start arriving soon" "that just means as soon as..." "Musica!" hearing his voice being called Musica turned to see Elie running towards him and Michelle upon seeing Michelle and JJ a huge smile appeared on Elie's face "Aw Michelle and little JJ" quickly approaching the two Elie put on a potty face until Michelle let her hold JJ

It was a very long year. Tsuki had taken the responsibility to watch Rosalinda for the first few months to make sure she didn't do anything rash. For the first 2 months Rosalinda refused to eat anything,regardless of how Tsuki persisted and at one point tried to force feed her mashed potatoes. Needless to say it didn't end well. When Rosalinda finally gained the strength to get out of her room in the Twilight Town mansion,Tsuki suggested that they should pass the time renovating the mansion to make it livable again,a task which Rosalinda took too seriously. But in a month and two weeks the Twilight Town mansion was clean and not dusty or dead,all damage from the fighting fixed,the overgrown backyard and front yard had become her personal way of getting distracted,covered in flowers and well kept. However Rosalinda had yet to speak a word ever since that day. Only giving nods and head shakes, Rosalinda had emotionally stabilized,but never to fully heal. Rosalinda currently was in the basement,settling flowers on the family graves. Her hair was made into a long ponytail,she wore sandals and a white summer dress with flower patterns on it. On her finger was Nate's ring, around her neck his necklace,both items they would never leave her side no matter what. At times she'd forget that she was wearing them and freak out to the verge of tears of the fear that she had lost them. She picked up her basket of roses as she walked up the stairs,hearing a knock on the door. Walking to the entrance she picked up her summer hat and opened the door,where Tsuki stood there. She wore a black leather jacket and shorts with some boots. Her hair was made in tiny pigtails.

 

"Rosa you look so cute!"Tsuki said smiling. Rosalinda merely responded with a nod,getting her hat on her head. It was exactly a year from that day,where so many were lost. "Well Hayato is waiting for us at the train station to head to the memorial." Tsuki's eyes softened. "If you need anything,you can just say it,ok?"Tsuki asked. Of course she had lost her brother,she was devastated on the inside for a long time,just had a better way of hiding it from the world. She grabbed Rosalinda by her arm and they ran to the station.

 

"They're going to love your roses,I'm sure of it."

sitting and playing with little JJ a look of pure happiness filled Elie's face as she played with the baby boy looking to this Michelle and Musica could only sit back and also smile happily. "So Elie hows work going lately" "work owe fine i got fired today" freezing where they sat for a moment Musica and Michelle turned to Elie at the same time and yelled "YOU WHAT!!!" seeing the way the two adults were acting little baby JJ began to laugh as Elie held Plue up infront of him "I got fired" "How the heck did you manage to get fired" "I told my boss i need get leave early today no matter what but he kept refusing me so in the end i stabbed him with Plue he didn't find it as funny as everyone else so he fired me" looking to Elie with a look of complete shock Musica looked to Plue to see a small amount of blood on his cone like nose "Eh..... like grandfather like granddaughter i guess...uh..." Michelle looked to baby JJ with a look of fear in her eyes thinking he might one day take after his late father "(dear god if JJ does take after Joe god help anyone who gets involved with him)" "Elie dammit that's the third job this month alone" smirking as if victorious in her own little way Elie looked towards Musica "guess I'm just not cut out for the world of work hehe" "Owe dont say that Elie you could always come work as a dancer with me"Hearing another new voice the group of three turned around to see a blonde haired women in a bunny costume "Julia!" "Bunny?" "Is that anyway for a women to be walking around in public?!" "Owe calm down Michelle I'm just out of work and i figured you guys would be close by so i figured i'd meet up before changing" "what kind of job do you have that your wearing that?" Hayato was waiting at the Twilight Town Station, waiting for Tsuki and Rosa. Hayato had been wearing his usual outfit lately, consisting of a black suit with a crimson red shirt and a thin black tie. Hayato also had two ring piercings through the top of his left ear. Taking out a pack of cigarettes, he took one out and put it in his mouth. "Man, one year... It's gone by fast." Hayato lit his cigarette and blew out some smoke. "You know that's not very healthy." Hayato looked over to see Hana and Lavi approaching. Hana wore a long white skirt with a black dress shirt. Lavi wore a white shirt, a black waist coat with black trousers. "Hey, where's Gamma?" "He couldn't make it, he's too busy leading the Organization." Hayato took another breath of smoke. "Never would have thought that such an Organisation made up of Fullbring wielders would end up becoming the people we'd call the police."  "It's what Kale would have wanted." "I guess you're right." Hayato smoked the last of his cigarette before putting it on the floor and stamping it out. "Sorry, I wasn't thinking about other people. When's the kid due?" Hana and Lavi blushed, looking at each other before staring him down. "Hey! You're supposed to keep that quiet!" "Okay, jeez, just making conversation. It has been a while since we last talked after all." "Well, on another note, crime around the worlds are down by a lot. The time we currently live in, is probably the most peaceful it has been in the last 1,000 years." "And we owe it all to those who gave their lives one year ago..." "You miss him?" "He was my best friend, of course I do. But I'm done grieving, he's getting the rest he deserves, same goes for Haru... but Rosalinda... she hasn't been the same since that day. She hasn't said a single word throughout the entire year... can't say I blame her. I can't even begin to imagine how she must have felt... Nate was everything to her... he still is." Hayato sighed, scratching his head slightly. "Let's talk about something else." "Sure, what have you been doing about work?" "Okay, I'm not sure if that's a good idea." "Oh come on! Are you afraid of telling us?" Lavi began laughing. "It's not anything embarrassing, is it?" "Idiot! Of course not! What do you take me for, some kind of pervert?!" Hayato sighed, stopping himself from getting too carried away, clearing his throat before explaining himself. "I am the right hand man to a certain Mafia boss. It's a dangerous job, so I try to keep my family and friends out of it. It's safer that way." "Oh, really? I guess that even now, you still want a reason to get a little stronger, don't you?" "Now you're making me sound like Let..." "Regardless, it's good that you're doing something you like." "Yeah, thanks." Hana then smirked, walked over to Hayato and elbowed him suggestively. "So~, how's things going with Tsuki~?" Hayato's expression became deadly serious. "That's classified information." "Woah! Scary!" Hayato looked toward the direction the train was going to come from. "Sorry... she's fine... she used to have nightmare's about her brother and it used to be really hard to calm her down. She's gotten better lately, so she'll be okay. She's just the type who needs someone to look after her and I'm the only one who can." "Awwww, that's pretty cute. I can't believe you used to hate her." "Please don't remind me about how stubborn I used to be." "Then what about you?" "What do you mean?" "You once told us that your mother was murdered by your father, wasn't she?" "... I was mistaken... My father sent me a letter at work explaining everything. It turns out, my mother was dying... she had cancer. On her way to see me on my birthday... she had a heart attack and the car she was driving was flung off the cliff..." "Hey, we're sorry." "It's fine, I'm over it by now. That sounds like something heartless to say, but you can't keep holding on to the past forever... no matter how much you may want to." A silence fell between the three of them, knowing that the person that Hayato was actually talking about was Rosalinda. "Anyway, is anyone else showing up?" "Gamma said that Mammon, Fran and Belphegor are on a job and can't make it. Jeez, those guys should go to repay for the damage they caused." "I already knew about those three. They're taking my job for the day." "Oh, well that clears up everything." "So it looks like we're just waiting on Rosa and Tsuki. Once they get here, we'll all take the train and meet up with Musica in Radiant Garden." "Okay then." The three then waited for the girls to arrive, all of them thinking about exactly what was going to happen when they met up with everyone again.

"We're heeeeeeere!!!"Tsuki squealed as she ran down to the train station,Rosalinda struggling to keep up but no complaint being heard as she smiled. All you could see was a dust cloud in the distance as Tsuki ran up to the group. "We're here,Rosa brought some roses from her garden!"Tsuki said brightly,her way of hiding any hurt was an art by this point in life. Rosalinda waved at the group and bowed her head slightly as she fixed her sunhat. Tsuki kissed Hayato's cheek and looked at the group. "What are we standing here for?! Everyone on the train,like,now!"Tsuki smiled,not noticing the two faint teardrops falling from the edge of her eyes. "On the train now!"Tsuki said once more as she gave the group no time to question or talk. Tsuki pushed all of them into the random cart of the train,Rosalinda following behind at her pace. Once everyone was on the train the doors closed and the train took off to Radiant Garden. Tsuki wasted no time in sitting next to Hayato. Rosalinda reached into her basket and took out some roses,which varied from all of different colors possible. She quickly and gently handed the roses to the whole group in the train. Tsuki received a turquoise rose (meaning one of a kind),Hayato a dark pink one(meaning gratitude),Hana and Levi a red one for each(meaning congratulations and job well done,most likely due to the possibility of an upcoming child). Rosalinda had a white one on her hat (meaning purity and I am worthy of you) The yellow ones were specifically for the memorial (meaning remembrance,friendship and promises of new beginnings),a long other colored flowers.

 

Soon enough they arrived on radiant garden,the group getting off the train as they walked to the memorial.

 

"Thanks for the rose, Rosa."Tsuki said. Rosalinda gave a simple nod and before long they were all together at the memorial,meeting up with the rest of the group. Rosalinda waisted no time in handing out roses again,much to Tsuki's amusement. To Michelle and her son a red rose, to Elie a pink one,to the rest orange ones (meaning enthusiasm ).

 

"Rosalinda you're going to drown everyone in flowers!"Tsuki said with a laugh.

Thanking Rosa as she handed everyone a rose Michelle attempted to pull the red rose away from little JJ as he attempted to eat it "Gawh JJ no that's not for eating" looking to the small baby attempting to resist his mother with all his might and eat the rose everyone laughed "Please JJ give the rose to mommy" "Haha that kid really does take after his dad stubborn to the last once he starts something you can't stop him" "I'm not complaining its a great trait for him to have i just wish it wasnt an active trait at such a young age i swear when JJ learns to crawl I'm in trouble i wont be able to take my eyes off him" "I could always lend you Plue as a watch dog" "I'd rather not have Plue he'd just fill JJ with candy" hearing Michelle's comment everyone laughed then looking around Michelle looked to Musica "where are the other two" "meeting us on sight same as the other Elite members" "Okay in that case i guess everyones here so we'll head to the Lastalia" In the year since the final battle again Lucia Byakuran and Amanda the location of the Lastalia had become public knowledge although unlike in the past this was not dangerous information to have after the battle due to the fluctuating energies of kingdom hearts endless etherion stellar memory and the lastalia the energy with the Lastalia had grown dominate and impossible to harness for anyone making it a relatively safe area the Lastalia now stood in the center of the universe just like another world another world mainly dominated by a large ocean except for one island that stood along covered in crystals to the people of this day that island is now known as Memorial Isle and out of respect to those who lost there life's on the day of the final battle it remains untouched except for the number of crosses that cover the island signifying particular warriors and the place they fell 

 

shortly after leaving Radiant Garden the entire group found themselves on a large ship flying towards the Lastalia 

"Why do we need to take a ship when Michelle could just warp everyone there at once" "Cause you can't warp to the lastalia the place may be common knowledge now but the area around it is still unstable try and open one of those corridor things and you get a nasty blow back" "Crap really" "One year since that great war huh" "Time sure flies sometimes i wonder how I'm alive to this day" "Ya seems as if everyone got there lives back" "Indeed in the days following the end of the battle there was a reported 10000 men and women who had be reported to had died in action found alive and well truly a miracle of some kind" "I wonder if the power of Etherion and Kingdom Hearts had anything to do with that my mind is still vague until now on how i came back" "Neither the less you young kids saved us all and for that the whole universe is eternally grateful" "Although the true saviors didn't make it home how ironic..." "war and peace how great was the price really a year on and we still dont know" suddenly emerging from inside the ship together Elie and Rosa appeared joining everyone else "Whats with all the sad faces" to Elie's remark everyone quickly forced on a smile and attempted to act normal "Hey Elie Rosa what were you two just up to that you seem so giddy in the face" suddenly holding up plue to show his cone shaped nose covered in blood Elie smiled "We went to see the pilot to see if he'd let us drive but turned out he was a big pervert so me and Plue stabbed him" suddenly hearing her words spoken so light heartedly everyone looked to Elie in complete shock as there jaws near dropped "EEEHHHHHH AGAIN!!! Tsuki,sitting next to Hayato,laughed brightly as she looked over at little JJ. The small boy had some rose petals in his hands as he managed to get a few out of the rose his mother was given. 

 

"Hey Michelle,may I hold him,please?"Tsuki asked in her sweetest voice. Michelle carefully and gently handed JJ over to Tsuki,who held him in her arms curiously and safely. "He's so cute~"Tsuki said as she then glanced at Hayato. "I know that we're going to end up having a daughter,but do you want one kid,or two?"Tsuki asked in a teasing manner as she rubbed JJs head. "Seeing how good looking you are she's sure to turn out cute,Hayato-kun~"Tsuki smiled. Rosalinda glanced at the small child and couldn't seem to take her eyes off him for a second. Tsuki noticed this and smiled at her. "How about you hold him for a bit,Rosalinda?"Tsuki asked. Rosalinda seemed to be in thought for a few moments before nodding. Tsuki gently placed JJ on Rosalinda's lap. Rosalinda held him gently and firmly as he gazed around with big,round,curious eyes that explored every corner of the ship he could from his current position. He was adorable. Rosalinda picked up one of the roses from the basket and started to wave it over JJ. JJ's eyes suddenly took a determined look as he reached for the rose as Rosalinda teased him,keeping it within and far from reach from time to time. "Wow Rosalinda,you're a natural!"Tsuki said,not really thinking anything but to say the truth of what she thought of the situation. Rosalinda smiled slightly,but suddenly her movements softened as she lowered her arm which held the Rose,giving the chance for JJ to quickly take it from her hand. "Uh oh! He's gonna eat it! Haha!" Silence. "Rosa?" Drops fell on JJ's head,the child quickly looking up to find the source of the drops. They were small tears from Rosa,who did not weep neither made a single sound,not even a grunt,just let the tears fall down her cheeks. "Rosa..." Rosalinda opened her mouth as if to say something,but then backed away and said nothing instead. The most likely explanation to the sudden source of emotions could be the comment on how it seemed natural for Rosalinda. Runa,and that other child that died in that alternate future. The two children that were meant to be but now are nothing but something from the past and a possible future that's no longer possible. Rosalinda wipped her tears. Eternity could pass and it was a likely possibility that Rosalinda would never speak again,or let go of the past,regardless even if she were forced to against her will to forget about it all,she would repeat over and over that no one made her darkness feel at ease like Nate. He was the only person her darkness did felt at ease with or even liked at all enough to become as protective of him as of the host. Slight darkness seemed to flow out of Rosalinda in a matter that it was visible to the human eye. JJ quickly took notice of the darkness and started to pout as if about to cry. Rosalinda quickly and carefully handed JJ back to Michelle before she ended up making him cry. Her hands were shaky as she felt vurnable over how easily her emotions got the better of her,and they weren't even at the memorial yet. She lowered her head in slight shame as she bit her lip,forcing herself to stop crying before she made things depressing for the rest. "Oh Rosalinda..."Tsuki muttered,glancing at the floor. No mater how many attempts,it seemed Rosalinda would be the only one who would be stuck in the past. And truthfully,part of her prefered it that way. The thought of ending her life so she could be with him sooner had crossed her mind every single day ever since the tragic event. She had thought countless of scenarios where she could kill herself without making a mess,maybe overdosing on painkillers or simply eating a heart of light if she were to find one,that would've been enough to make her body shatter. She thought of jumping off the Twilight Town Clocktower,jumping infront of the train,let herself get eaten by a shark at Atlantica,hell,she had considered that maybe miracuosly she would become allergic to peanut butter and could die by eating a tasty treat. No,as much as she thought about it she wouldn't ever try it. All because she wanted to keep Nate and Runa's last promise of her living on. If it were otherwise,Rosalinda would've of been gone long ago. 

 

"(I'm living,but it hurts so much,can't I just be with you sooner,Nate?)"Rosalinda thought as she gripped Nate's necklace,her hands shaking slightly as she forced a smile at Tsuki,to cover up any bad sentiment. All but a simple facade to keep the mood from getting depressing because of her.

Standing in front of two graves that stood side by side Shuda turned his head as he heard a ship arriving with a slight smile on his face Shuda looked as the large group of comrades began to move towards his location. As the group moved towards the two graves Elie looked around to see the area covered in large crystals "so pretty" "Elie be sure not to touch any of those crystals" "Eh... okay" "This place is just like the stellar memory cave now reports say even the ocean floor is covered in them" Slowly approaching Shuda Musica and Shuda greeted one another "Musica you brought Elie to Rosalinda to i see" "I see no reason why not besides looking at Rosalinda i say above anything she needed to be here for this it may help her move on" "I see and what of Elie have you told her everything" "Pretty much although we left out both Haru and Nate's parts" "Why Nate to" "we worried remembering Nate might of caused her to remember more then we wanted her to" "So she has no idea the two graves" "No but no matter what i wanted her to at least see them" "Alright" looking around the area Elie noticed as everyone began placing there roses by the two graves following the others lead Elie went to place her rose as well as Elie did this Michelle looked to Shuda "where's the grave for Runa?" "over by the location he fought Amanda Haru and Nate's were placed together here in the very center of the island to signify they were the core of the final battle" returning towards the group Elie looked to Julia "The great war that took place here did i really take part" "Ya you were an incredible strong warrior back then" "You took after your grandfather back then with out a doubt" "Owe and who do the graves belong to?" "Comrades of the past those who couldn't make it back" "let us pray for them" as everyone gathered infront of the graves everyone suddenly grew silent and still as they quietly began to pray at first elie looked around unsure until she also began to pray with closed eyes slowly looking towards Elie Musica began to think to himself "(Haru, Elie came... you must be excited to see her... but Elie's lost all her memories of you nobody wants to tell her nobody wants to see Elie hurting again. I'm sorry Haru I believe you'd understand what were doing. In future i will bring Elie here more often may you rest in peace)" Suddenly as everyone was quiet the area infront of them began to glow brightly quickly reacting everyone moved back in shock as the earth suddenly burst opening crystals were thrown into the air and shattered as a large piller of life engulfed both Haru and Nate's graves "WHAT?!" quickly holding JJ tightly to her chest Michelle looked to the others "everyone careful i just sensed to incredible powerful aura's appear out of nowhere" "Two?! Lucia and Byakuran i couldnt be" as the light continued to burst into the atmosphere figures began to appear from the light until the piller of light vanished completely and from it emerged Nate and Haru looking to the two believed fallen hero's everyone stared towards them in complete and utter shock unsure on how to react

Hayato stared in shock, looking around just to make sure that everyone else was seeing the same thing he was. "... Are they... really?" "Nate... Haru..." "Is this real?" Nate stood on the ground, holding his head a little. "Man... I feel like I've slept for a year... or something... I'm so groggy..." Nate looked up at everyone with wide eyes. "Wait..." Nate looked down at his hands, seeing himself completely intact and wearing the same shredded clothes he was wearing during his fight with Byakuran. "I'm alive..." Nate put his hands to his face, tears running out of his eyes. "I can't believe it... I'm alive..." Hayato stared at Nate before looking over at Rosalinda who had not moved a muscle. (Rosa...) Nate rubbed his eyes and looked back up, staring at Rosalinda. "Rosa..." His expression was caught between shocked and guilty. "Rosa... I... I'm sorry I left you all alone... I bet it was unbearable... but now I'm back and I'm not leaving you ever again, because..." Nate smiled at her, remembering what he had forgotten to say when he said goodbye. "I love you." Nate then held out a hand towards Rosalinda. Hayato was smiling while shedding a few tears, hugging Tsuki from behind. "Looks like miracles really do happen, right?"

Slightly wobbling for a moment Haru stood up looking at everyone see there absolutely shocked faces "Huh... what happened?" "Haru?" "Is that you?" looking to his friends with a confused face haru answered "ya who else would i be? Whats with those faces?" suddenly turning to look behind him Haru noticed as a huge energy twister shot high into the sky from the spot he and Nate had just emerged ripping through the atmosphere the sky high above the clouds above began to scatter revealing a dark sky illuminated by millions of stars and a large heart shaped moon "What the?" "Stellar Memory" "Kingdom Hearts" with everyone looking to the now beatiful night like sky Let spoke finally understanding how everyone was alive "i see that's how... how everyone is still alive how Haru is alive how Nate is alive Stellar Memory and Kingdom Hearts protected us during our battle they had our backs the entire time" "The star's and worlds saved us this is how they repay is for protecting them" "what a romantic way to repay" finally looking towards both Haru and Nate Musica asks "So... that means your really back" both boys responded with a node as they then both then looked to there respected other Nate looking to Rosalinda Haru looking to Elie "I'm back Elie!" looking to Haru with a complete look of confusion a look of worried filled everyone's face as they remembered Elie did not remember Haru slowly walking towards her Haru stopped as he stood face to face with Elie "I'm back" staring at Haru in complete shock Elie grew completely silent as he eyes suddenly widened as all at once memories of Haru began to flash through her mind all the good times all the bad all the tears and all the laughs slowly a happy and teary eyed Elie began to step forward "Haru..." suddenly jumping forward Elie hugged Haru her eyes filled to the brim with tears everyone looked to Elie in shock as she hugged Haru "I'm sorry" Holding onto Haru tightly as she spoke Haru took hold of Elie as well "it's okay" Slowly looking up to Haru's face Elie smiled brightly with tears still flowing "welcome home" looking towards Haru and Elie tears began to flow everywhere as Elie suddenly looked at Haru with bright red cheeks "and here's your welcome back present" "huh..." Suddenly reaching up Elie kissed Haru

Tsuki held Hayato's hands around her as tears started to fall down her cheeks. She couldn't help but to glance around slightly,and then give a wary smile. "(Tsuko,wether you come back with us or not,or not...if you hear me,which I hope,your death wasn't for nothing...onee-chan...)"Tsuki thought as she felt a thug on her heart strings as she gritted her teeth. If Nate and Haru were to come to life then surely Tsuko could,but it was a very slight possibility. But with two miracles happening before them,she would not say a word,she would just do as she has always done,put up a facade and keep her feelings inside. She wasn't going to be selfless at this time,not with everyone here. But instead she would mourn silently. She knew that Tsuko was in a better place,he had to be...right? 

 

"Thank the gods..."Tsuki finally muttered. Rosalinda did not move at all. She had already dropped the basket of roses,all of the roses spreading all over the floor as the wind carried them off to the sea,rose petals and roses in general spreading across the area. Rosalinda's eyes were wide,she opened her mouth as if trying to speak but she couldn't let any words come out. He was there. He was alive. Every single thought,every single memory,every single negative emotion seemed to halt and dissapear,only feeling absolutely nothing but shock as she felt her heart skip a beat or two. With her entire body shaking,she extended her arm and held Nate's hand,only to feel its familiar warmth which brought tears to her eyes. Suddenly with a jerk,she pulled Nate forward hard,hugging him tighter than she could even imagine of hugging anyone before. She didn't want to let go,otherwise if she did,he could slip away and dissapear again. She wasn't going to take that chance,she thought,as she buried her face against Nate. His warmth was there,the warmth that calmed and heated the cold darkness in her,his scent was there,which no scent of rose could compare to. 

 

Rosalinda muttered something unheardable. She noticed Nate leaning closer to hear her,so she repeated herself once more,louder,as she looked up at Nate with a look that could kill. Tears fell down her face as she felt every possible emotion pour into her at once,attacking her heart and soul like blades. "I love you Nate...please...say it again!!!!"Rosalinda said,her voice weeping,broken,forced to speak as she had almost forgotten to do so over the year. These were the first words she had ever spoken in over a year. She continued. "Say you love me again! Say my name again! Your voice...I missed it...I missed you...please..." Rosalinda's strength seemed to leave her as he legs shook,making her weak to a point where she held onto Nate for the sake of not collapsing on herself into the ground. Her voice still broken. If this was a dream she never wanted for it to end. If this was temporary she wanted to hear his voice and feel his warmth as much as she could before it went away. Her love had returned from death,death. He was here,his heart was beating. Rosalinda kissed every spot of skin she could find that was exposed,on his face and his hands,spreading her tears over him. She felt his face and ran her fingers through his hair as she continued to ask for him to repeat those words. "I love you...I love you...please say them again..." The broken doll had finally started to work again.

 

"You losers,crying and sh*t." Everyone (except Rosa who refused to look at anyone else but Nate) turned their heads. Over at Tsuko's grave a transparent figure stood next to it. It was Tsuko. Though not alive,his vision was made out of pure Lastalia as he wore the same tattered clothing that he had died with,however his wounds were healed in this vision. 

 

"Tsuko...?!"Tsuki breathed. 

 

"Geez,atleast one of you remembered me,like seriously,I was getting tempted to start haunting you guys."Tsuko smiled as he glanced at Rosalinda and Nate,and then at Elie and Haru. "I'm glad. When I sent my final portions of eleth to you guys I thought I was stupid and that it wasn't enough. I'm happy to know it did well."Tsuko said as he floated over to Michelle who was holding little JJ. "So this is his kid? So he DID took a sidetrip from his wife."Tsuko said. He was dead already,so might as well,he thought. He smiled at the child. "He reminds me alot of him. Though me and the old man didn't get the best along...I'm sure this kid will do great things."Tsuko said. 

 

"HOW?!"Tsuki screeched,still holding onto Hayato. 

 

"Due to me dying in the middle of my training of being a Priest of Lastalia from the Amarcian Enclive,when i died the Lastalia spoke to me...it said a thing or two,regardless,it seems I'm suppouse to keep watch over it and the graves."Tsuko smirked. "If any other Priest of Lastalia were to come,I was to tell the story and teach them. Not like I had a choice,by the time I could analyze all that the thing had made me sign its contract. Not that I mind though,I get to scare tourists!"Tsuko said smiling brightly. His gaze suddenly turned into a glare to Hayato. "You better don't have any funny business in mind for my sister,you perv."Tsuko muttered,making Tsuki smile at her brother's attitude once more in over a year. Tsuko glanced over at Elie and Haru,floating over to Haru. "Thanks Haru,for protecting Elie. You did a better job than I ever did by like,250%,I swear."Tsuko smiled. He glanced at Elie and blushed slghtly,looking away. "Though my feelings still feel torwards her,I'm sure they'll pass with time. But until then...even with all the headbutts we've gone through."Tsuko cleared his throat and offered his hand. "How about we call it a truce,and with that you can marry Elie and have like,6 kids,ok?"Tsuko said,as blunt as ever,

Nate looked over at Haru and Elie before glancing up at the bright sky. The heart shaped moon and the stars shining brightly, brimming with light. (Kingdom Hearts... You saved me for looking after the hearts that belong to the people of this universe... Thanks.) Nate then looked down at Rosalinda, desperation in her eyes as she clung to him weakly. "Rosalinda Stargazer Rocecrant." Nate wrapped his arms around her, stopping her from falling to the floor. "I love you. I love you so much and nothing is ever going to stop that. I promise that I will never leave your side again." Nate hugged Rosalinda tightly, putting his head against her shoulder. "Never again." Nate then smiled as he looked back at her, wiping away some of the tears on her face. "So come on, let me see that smile I fell in love with." Nate looked down slightly and was a little surprised to see Rosalinda wearing his necklace and his Vongola Ring. "My necklace and ring... You've been wearing them all this time?" Nate smiled more, finally wiping away all of Rosalinda's tears. "Looks like I was with you all along. Now, let's see if we can cheer you up a little, it makes me sad when I see you cry." Nate put a hand to Rosalinda's cheek before kissing her.

 

"Just great, Tsuko comes back and the only thing he has to say is "No funny business with my sister"." Hayato frowned and crossed his arms before Hana came over and patted him on the shoulder. "You know, this might be your only opportunity to talk to him." Hayato frowned again before sighing loudly. "Fine." Hayato then walked over at Tsuko with a frown. "... Hey." Getting Tsuko's attention, Hayato mentally prepared himself for what he was about to say, taking in a large breath of air. "You are a terrible big brother? How can you just up and leave Tsuki like that? Do you know how much pain she's had to endure. Granted, it wasn't as much as Rosa's, but it was still pain nonetheless. She's had nightmares because of you... But... every time they've happened... I've been there for her." Hayato looked down slightly. "I'm not you and I can't replace you either. She will always have a special place in her heart for you. I'm just going to let you know that she is not alone, because now... I'm her family and I'm the one who's going to look after her. Not because you told me to, but because I want to." Hayato took a deep sigh before taking out a cigarette, placing it in his mouth. "However..." Hayato then gave Tsuko a smirk. "I can't promise that I won't do anything with her. After all, me and her are going to have a daughter and I'm pretty sure there's only one way for me to get her pregnant." Hayato then turned around and walked off, giving a wave. "Take care Tsuko." Hayato walked away from the large group and lighting his cigarette, breathing in before letting out a cloud of smoke. "Looks like our story... is finally over." Hayato then looked down at the crater that contained Runa and Amanda's graves. "So then, what about yours... Runa?"

Tsuko blinked a few times,but he merely smirked to himself and glanced away. 

 

"Can't say that I didn't try then."Tsuko muttered. Tsuki walked up to him as he turned to her,still taller than her by a few inches even in spirit form. "Hey sis...I'm sorry I died...and I'm really sorry I can't come back as the brother that can be with you as your family. It seems I was strong back then,but not strong enough."Tsuko smiled. Tsuki sniffled a bit and wipped some years away. 

 

"You idiot,you didn't even said goodbye."

 

"Eh? You think I had time to say goodbye?! Ask Hayato he was there! I could barely lift a finger!"

 

"Idiot!"

 

"Call me an idiot all you want,I'm still your big brother and still in charge!" He paused. "...was in charge. You're a grown woman now. Even I was alive and with you,I have a feeling you would rebel anyways,and truthfully,as things are right now,I wouldn't have it any other way."Tsuko smiled as he rubbed his sister's head. "I would cry if I could,my baby sister is all grown up,I can't babysit you anymore now can I?" Tsuko let go. "As Hayato said,you're not alone regardless I ain't around,he's your family now. Besides! You could come visit from time to time,being a spirit can be lonely...you know,maybe a few years at a time? I wouldn't mind being able to meet my niece,and her meeting her dead ghost uncle."Tsuko smirked. He then scratched his cheek. "But um..." His big brother conceous still remained with him. "Isn't there a way you could adopt...ya know,childbirth being painful and all,you could adopt a kid and be done with it,I'm sure there's some places." Tsuki rolled her eyes. 

 

"Well then,I have some opinions to share,Tsuko."Tsuki said. She signaled for him to get closer. Tsuko bent a bit to her level as Tsuki whispered something into his ears. Tsuko's eyes seemed to widen a bit. Whatever Tsuki had said the only heard word outside from their range was the word 'babies'. Tsuko jolted back when Tsuki finished telling her secret,his face glowing red. 

 

"T-Tsuki-!"Tsuko stammered. He didn't expected that from his sister,who smiled regardless as she laughed. Tsuko rubbed his head and smiled a bit. "Well if it can't be helped...I give you and Hayato my blessings then."Tsuko smiled as he offered his hand for a fist-pump. "Just don't forget about me so easily...ok?" Tsuki smiled and fist-bumped her brother,the two fists connecting,reminding them of better times when the universe wasn't in danger,and when death was a thing of freak accidents or old age. 

 

"As if I'd be able to."

 

Rosalinda felt like it was a dream when he kissed her,a dream that she was surely going to wake up from at any moment. But that never happened,for this was real. Rosalinda kissed him back,holding his hands in hers as she could feel all of these negative and confusing emotions quickly become replaced by bright and happy ones. Once their lips parted Rosalinda was smiling brightly,so happy you could almost see the gleam of happiness just form around,she hadn't smiled like that ever since the incident. She finally seemed to compose herself as she got the necklace off from her neck and quickly wrapping it around Nate's neck,where it belonged from the start. She picked up one of the roses that decorated her hat,a dark red one,so scarlet almost resembling blood,and handed it to Nate. (As the single dark red rose signified "I love you") She was so happy she could not ever stop smiling. She hugged him tight and held his hands in hers.

Runa.

 

 

Drifting through the boundaries of what existed and what didn't, Runa found himself in the realm of nothingness, specifically because he had become nothing itself. "Where am I?" Looking around, Runa found himself surrounded by white. The area didn't feel warm like the places in the realm of light, it seemed more blank and devoid of life. There was nothing, not in any direction. "Is this what I get for saving everyone? ... I knew from the start that I would cease to exist when I changed the future, but I didn't know that this was what was waiting for me." Runa then held his hand out in front of him, the Heart of Chaos appearing in front of him. "This is the combined form of Kale and Amanda's hearts, the heart of Chaos. I just don't know what to do with it." "Hey you!" Runa spun around surprised to see a little boy with blonde hair, he didn't look any older than six. "Who are you? Where am I?" "This is the realm of nothingness, it's where people stop being... people." "Really?" The boy looked scared, almost as if he was going to cry. "... N-No, you're different. I'm sure you just came here by accident. Tell me what your name is and I'll see if I can get you out of here." "My name's Nathan... But my daddy calls me Nate." Runa stared at the young Nate, realising that this was actually the time that his father had visited the realm of nothingness when he was a boy. "I see, it's nice to meet you Nate, I'm Runa." After some time, introducing themselves to each other. "So how do we get out of here." "I'll create a portal. One that can not be closed by the powers of this realm." "A portal? You mean like one of those big circle thingies?" Runa laughed a little. "Yeah. But I don't know how long it'll take." "Well, as long as I'm not alone, I'll be okay. I'm scared of being alone." "... I know." "Huh?" "Nothing, forget I said anything." Hours began flying by, Runa directing all of his attention to trying to open a portal, but the amount of power he could actually generate was miniscule. "Keep trying Runa, I believe in you." Runa might have been able to concentrate a little harder, but every time he felt in the zone he ended up imagining something. He kept seeing the shape of three people running around, but the image kept flickering away every time he tried to look at it. Eventually, not only hours, but days and even weeks were going by, nothing changing as Runa continued to open the portal. The young Nate was convinced that Runa was a figment of his imagination to convince himself that he wasn't alone. Runa hated seeing his young father feel so lonely, giving him the drive to get him home faster. Time passed endlessly, almost driving the two insane. Finally, Runa had given up. He had run out of power when he fought Amanda and opening a portal big enough for a small boy to fit through was impossible. "Runa... When I grow up, will I still be alone like this?" "... No. You'll be with a big family who loves you. You just have to keep hope alive and accept others into your heart." It was then, at that moment, that an idea had formed in Runa's mind. He held out a hand, the heart of Chaos appearing in front of him. "Runa?" "... I finally get it." "What is it?" "Looks like you're going home Nate... But I have to stay here." "Why?! You're the only one who's been here with me these three years!" Runa's eyes widened, instantly remembering the conversation he had with Kale. "(When Nate was a young boy in the realm of Nothingness, he had... an imaginary friend for the three years he spent there, I wonder if that "friend" is connected to the "portal monster" who gave Nate the Chaos.)" Everything finally made sense. "It's me... It's always been me." "Runa?" Runa looked over at Nate with a smile. "You're going to forget who I am Nate. but we'll meet again... someday." Runa looked down at the heart of chaos in his hand before pushing it into his chest, his hair becoming black and his eyes becoming red. Runa spread his arms out wide, creating a huge portal that engulfed both him and Nate. Nate was falling through the portal, scared out of his mind as a grim reaper looking figure with glowing red eyes appeared in front of him. "Go back home and find me when you're all grown up, Nathan Silverston." The cloaked figure, who was obviously Runa under the influence of Chaos, reached out and stuck his hand into Nate's chest, implanting the heart of Chaos inside of him. Nate then fell through the void, eventually waking up in the realm of light, thinking of the last three years as one long dream. Runa however, remained in realm of nothingness until the day he would be set free.

 

11 years after Nate's first visit to the realm of nothingness, he returned with both Zoey and Rosalinda in search of the journals as a 17 year old. Runa had anticipated their return and appeared in front of Nate as the "portal monster", the monster of mass chaotic energy. Runa, pretending to be the evil monster, informed Nate of the Chaos sleeping inside of him. After putting up a decent fight, Runa watched as Nate overpowered his remaining energy using the power of chaos. Runa began to fade away, believing that everything was finally over. His duty, his responsibilities, his life, all of it.

 

But Runa was proven wrong as he felt as if he were falling, when he suddenly hit the ground painfully. "Owwww..." Runa squinted his eyes, seeing a bright light engulf his vision. "What's... going on...?" Runa held a hand over his eyes before he realised that it was sunlight he was actually blocking out. "Is this the realm of light?" Runa sat up slowly, looking around to see himself surrounded by flowers, they were everywhere. "Why am I surrounded by flowers? Is this heaven or something?" "Runa!" Runa looked around, an unfamiliar voice calling him. "Hello?" "Over here, dummy." Runa turned around and saw a girl with blonde hair standing behind him with her hands on her hips. "What are you doing led on the ground? Mom and dad are going to be mad if you don't head back." Runa tilted his head at her, he had no idea who this person was, but she seemed so familiar. "What? Do I have something on my face?" "Who... are you?" "Come on, that's not even funny. It's me." Runa got to his feet, looking around. "Okay, I don't know who you are or where I am. I'm serious, where the hell am I?! I've been through too much already!" The girl stepped back a little surprised. "... Runa... it's me. It's Risa, your twin sister. You do know who I am, don't you?" Runa stared at Risa, noticing that she did in fact look a lot like himself. "My... sister? My sister died... What's going on?" "Here you are!" Runa froze, he would know that voice anywhere. "Were you two fighting again?" "No dad, Runa says he doesn't remember who I am!" "... Runa?" Runa turned to see his father, 38 years old. He was dressed as a bartender and was wearing a pair of sunglasses. "Dad..." Runa took a second before running and hugging his father. "What's gotten into you? You're not usually this happy to see me." "I thought you were dead damn it! You beat Byakuran and then you just vanished! Mom was crying so hard and then I had to leave! I spent three years with you in the realm of nothingness and then I woke up here! What's going on?!" Nate stared at Runa, returning his hug. "I see... You finally came back to us... Son, this is the future, the way it was supposed to be." Nate put his hand on Runa's shoulders. "I knew it... that one day, we'd get to see you again. Risa, come here a second." Risa walked over slowly, a little unsure of what was going on. "What's happening dad?" "Remember how I told you about the Runa who saved everyone? Well, he's come back to us." Risa stared at her brother, understanding that the person in front of her was this "hero" that she had heard about from her father. "Runa..." "Sis?" Runa stared at Risa before she gave him a hug. "I don't really get what happened to you, but welcome home." "... I'm sorry, but I still don't really know you." "It'll come to you, I'm sure of it. In the mean time..." Nate took out his mobile, phoning someone. "Hey, it's Nate. Close up the bar, it's time for a family reunion." Nate then hung up and looked back at his kids. "Let's go home." As the three walked together, no one spoke a word. Runa felt slightly awkward. It was nice that he was alive, that he was finally reunited with the family that he'd always wanted, but it felt like this new life didn't belong to him. Runa had began to think that he'd taken over the body of another Runa, one that was already happy with his life. It made him feel horrible that he didn't belong in this world. "We're here." The three arrived at the gate of the Twilight Town mansion after an hour of walking. The mansion itself could not even be compared to the dump it used to be, it was a beautiful place to live. "Go on Runa." Runa looked up at Nate and nodded, slowly walking towards the twin doors. Runa grasped both handles, breathing in and out as he felt unprepared for what lay inside. Opening the doors slowly, Runa was met by eyes staring at him, putting him on guard at first. "Long time no see." Runa looked around to see everyone who participated in the final battle as well as some new faces. Hayato walked over to Runa, putting a hand on his shoulder. "I'm pretty sure there's someone you've been searching for." Hayato moved out of the way and everyone else moved to two sides, showing Miku stood in the middle. "Miku..." "That's my daughter now..." Hayato smiled, patting Runa on the back. "Take care of her." Runa then began to walk forward, feeling as if it were only he and Miku left in the room. He then stood only a few feet from her, the two feeling a little embarrassed. "Hey." "Hey..." "So... You're not the Runa I know, but the one who saved everyone, right?" Runa looked down a little, only going back to the feeling that he didn't belong. "Yeah... that's me." Runa was suddenly hugged by Miku. "Thank you so much. It's thanks to you that my mom and dad and everyone else is still alive." Runa looked up, his eyes wide with tears as he hugged her back. "You don't remember, but it's all thanks to you that I managed to do all of this." Runa rested his head on Miku's shoulder, blocking everyone else out from the moment the two of them were having. "Runa, I don't know how, but sometimes... I get dreams... dreams of when you and I fought and I helped you build the time machine and it all just seems so real, even if it never happened to me. Was all of that...?" "Yeah... That was the place I came from. And the last time I saw you, you..." Runa looked at Miku, a blush on her face as well as his. "I kissed you and sent you through the portal, didn't I?" "Yeah." Miku smiled. "It's funny, even though things ended up differently, I still ended up falling for you, Runa." Runa smiled. "I didn't get the chance before, but I'm definitely not letting anything stop me this time. Miku, I love you." "I love you too, Runa." Miku then leaned in and kissed Runa, tears running down his face from how happy he was when images began flashing in front of his eyes. images of the happy life he'd spent with his family in this new world. Runa had finally returned. "I remember! I'm back... I'm finally..." "Welcome home Runa!" Everyone smiled, not feeling this happy since the reunion 18 years ago when Nate and Haru came back to life. Everyone in unison shouted with all their hearts. "Welcome home Runa!" Runa smiled, this was the happiest he'd ever been in his life. Tears streamed down his face as he exclaimed to everyone. "I'm home everyone! I'm finally home!" Runa and Miku embraced once again, before their families joined in for a large group hug. "I'm so happy... that I was born into this world!"

 

 

Everyone was happy and everything was well.

The sky was blue the sea was calm and the sand shined as the rays of the sun bounced upon it. Upon the calm and tranquil beach of Destiny Island stood a boy with black spiky hair and along side him stood a girl with long silver hair that shined in the sun. Together the two stood watching the calm sea lightly hitting off the shore wave after wave. Behind the two stood a group of three people a women with long brown hair a women with long blonde hair and a man with spiky silver hair "it'll be there turn next" "not like there's a problem with that after all its those two" "Maybe i should get the hazardous signs ready" the people who stood talking together were none other then a 39 year old Haru 39 year old Elie and 45 year old Michelle and in front of them stood the son of Michelle and Joe the black haired boy named JJ 19 years old and the daughter of Haru and Elie the silver haired girl named Alexis age 17 "It's funny in so many ways" "how so?" "Joe's generation fought the war now known as the War of the Realms and your generation fought the battle now known as the War of the Worlds if you think about it it only seems fitting that this is the battle there generation faces" "Uh Michelle your laughing at a War between Universe's kind of messed up don't ya think" "not really after all with all the noise the last to generations made it was bound to happen eventually" "An endless battle hum?" "No not an endless battle..." "hey mom where off" "JJ dont get yourself killed" "Mom Dad I'll be back soon" "Stay safe Alexis make sure your cousin doesn't get himself killed" "why does everyone think I'm going to get killed!!!" "Because if your anything like your father your going to end up near death more times then i want to count" "Don't compare me to dad" the group looked to one another until they suddenly laughed with that Alexis and JJ gave a slight wave as the two vanished instantly upon there exit Haru looked to the place the two had just been standing and spoke
