No kh games are bad

But-but....

I loved playing days :~: 

and i love the day's story

only recoded was bad, gameplay wise boring, the story wasn't important( but still interesting to watch at times, like data roxas's parts )

Kingdom: Re Chain of Memories made me almost give up on the series. However I am glad that they did not go back to the stupid battle card system. It was a cool idea but bad execution. The game expected you to do 10 things at once but that is just impossible. You have to manage your deck and see its value and see what your opponent is going to do and the value of their cards. Also, if your opponent is attacking you have to dodge while looking at your deck.

storywise: Re:Coded. There's almost none to be found.

 

Gameplay: Days. Even though I love it to death. The only thing about it that annoyed me were the repetitive missions. But thats enough to make it on the bottom of my list.

 

Overall worst: KH2. Why? I'm too afraid to say. Don't ask why...

Days hardly deserves all this hate. It's FAR from a perfect game, but it's not the worst for sure!

OK everyone now it's time for my opinion.KH1 was a great game. It introduced us to the story and the key mechanisms of the games. It was the first and it mostly shaped everything in the series, so please don't bash on it for that. Gameplay wise it sucked. The battle system got old WAY too fast. The magic spells were alright, the special commands were cool, but attacking, platforming, and the camera were horrible, so even though it shaped gameplay and everything we see in the games today doesn't mean it has no issues. KH1's mechanisms were improved for every other game and I like that. Except for 358/2 Days which I will get to later. The story in this game was amazing and the overall presentation and music shaped all. This game is the key to your nostalgia, this was where it all began. The journey were you never know who you'll run into next!Why hate CoM, the answer is simple. I don't hate CoM, but the way of battle is way too complex. The cards and their numbering are hardly explained. You can't chain combos together without using the correct decks and card numbers and the GBA version is even worse, battling or moving around are like trying to tell a blind person to see perfectly. It is truly the only real challenging KH game besides BBS. BUT, the story is excellent. It introduced new plot concepts. The Organization XIII, Castle Oblivion, memories, Axel, Roxas, and a LOT of plot points. So this game is an example of how each game has its pros and cons. I liked it, but battling is hard and the layouts made me sick. I never knew how you were supposed to chain Ars Arcanum.On to 358/2 Days, MY LEAST FAVORITE KH GAME! Flame shield on everyone, this one may upset you! First of all, I hate Xion! Yes, I have no interest in her, she's just a plot device to please fans IMO. The story is alright, but it's not too important and they could've made it into a graphic novel or something. The gameplay was boring and repetitive. The missions feel like actual missions. They're like an hour long and the days system is really repetitive and confusing. Roxas falls asleep, Xion falls asleep. The bosses weren't interesting. And all it did was add more fanservice for Org. XIII fans. Don't even get me started on gameplay. It was VERY limited and don't say it's because of the DS. Limit Mode was alright though. The command panels were confusing but it felt more strategetic which I liked. The keyblade designs were awful. Just no... The only real important part was the end, which explains why Roxas was in the simulated Twilight Town in the beginning of KH2 and why he had two Keyblades. I don't get why people should spend $40 just to find that out. I also hated that it DIDN'T focus on the Organization, but just Axel, Roxas, and Xion. To me it should've been called Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days of Fanservice.KH2 MY FAVORITE KH GAME SO FAR! Where do I begin? Well let's start with the presentation. Remember the trailers, the commercials, Passion, the improved graphics? That was amazing right? New worlds, new music, new everything. It takes place right after CoM and it explains a LOT. Sora was asleep and woke up. The story was great, each world had a nice story, though sometimes I felt that they were there just to do with Org XIII. Yeah the battle system sucked a bit, but the improved mechanisms made it actually feel like an RPG. Auto potion restocking. Real MP. New spells, and an amazing drive mode that lets Sora do amazing attacks and agility! The command bar was re-imagined, everything changed. The story started the side-stories that we see now. My complaints are that it was too short and that battling felt a little boring after a while. And sometimes the story would leap a bit. One second you'd be in Halloween Town talking to Jack and then next you'd be chasing the Heartless. The worlds and Nobodies make up for it and the overall presentation and mastering makes up for it, but I wish they made it a bit more harder and the story more deep. Final Mix added a lot, so I can say that when I played it, it was great. New cutscenes. A BBS secret ending. Nice bosses, new difficulty, new minigames, and a new drive form that takes from KH1!On to BBS. This game is very good IMO. Almost every character is important in this game and almost all of the plot holes and questions we had were patched up and answered in this game. IMP this game has the best battle system. Command styles were cool and it was nice to be able to customize decks, command sets, shotlocks, and use our skills. No button mashing, none of that. The music is alright, didn't like too much of it. The worlds are great, but after playing through them THREE TIMES it starts to get really boring, though the stories vary as each character. Each character was very good and I liked that SE made it to where each has their own pros and cons. Terra could use critical attacks, but is bad with agility and magic. Ven is all-around, and Aqua is great with agility and special magic. Each have their own command styles and combos. I loved how you were able to customize almost everything even the color depth and MHz. It was the only great game for the PSP. And finally. The Mirage Arena, enough with the Coliseum. Customize your armor, fight with friends locally, buy special items, race, play on the Command Board, and best of all, fight against very strong opponents in a detailed round system. Final Mix adds even more bosses that might even be in KH3D like No Heart. It's all very challenging and very fun and awesome at the same time! This is an example of battling done right! The episodes were cool too. I liked the way they handled that system and it added a lot of replay value to the game. The secret ending was the best one in the series yet and it was one of the most emotional game in the series. Definitely one of my favorites. It focused on gameplay without affecting or ruining the story. But there's a game that only focuses on gameplay and introduced gimmicks, but forgets about story.That game is Re: coded, also known as the least important game in the series. There's not much to say about this game. Nothing new, four new songs, grating story, no new characters, boring plot points, bad graphics, and dull keyblades. It felt very recycled IMO. The data sectors had good layouts, but play a little while and you'll notice how they're the same ones you saw earlier. See what I mean? The ganeplay was good. Each world was new in terms of gameplay. It never felt old! You could be battling and running through a 2D side-scrolling fight against the Heartless, then teaming up with Donald and Goofy in a RTS-styled battle system. Fight your way through Olympus Coliseum turn-based style like in Final Fantasy 1 through 3. Then race against time in Agrabah. It never bored me in that realm. Everything else, well, no. This game is perfect for the DS and for a DS game the graphics were great. I mean horrible on any other console, but great for DS. If only they included more. Also, the Avatar Menu was pretty cool, but that did get old after a while too. The new commands were nice, but I really didn't like this game in terms of story, depth, or originality. What was in-depth and cool, plus awarding was the trophy system for Re: coded. Getting 100% was hard like in BBS. Sometimes a powerful Defender Heartless would come out at random in system sectors which required quick thinking and tactics to defeat it. Unlocking everything was challenging and complex because of the presentation of the game. The Stat Matrix was nice. You can add cheats, add panels, and tweak certain chips, plus the layout of it was nice and felt very Matrix-esque. It also appeals to technology freaks. Imagine the HP cheat as RAM! It's cool being able to tweak the game and I like how it took the commands and customization from BBS and enhanced the Command Panels from 358/2 Days. In some ways it did require tactics and strategy to completely beat the game.Well, this is the end of my opinion! What do you think? Do you agree with it or not? You don't tell me that Days has the best story, its just too cryism and sad music, nothing else, kh1 had a disgusting story too (kairi as a princess wtf) kh2, bbs are masters of story Worst KH: Days

I like all kh games but the onlys thing that the "worst" for me is com card system.I hate the card system a bit more than I hate kairi.(that says alot)

COM is terribly underrated, so much hate for the most strategic and exigent KH game. Makes me wonder how could I love it with nine years old if it was so difficult and frustrating. The remake is definitely muh better, but still.....

 

Definitely, the worst game overall is the mobile game, only that makes Coded and its remake the worst. Zero plot importance with uninteresting plot itself, another Sora clone (the third one) and the most unnecesary, non original gameplay (the regular), almost no new soundtracks, recicled ``visit every world from your memories data´´ AGAIN etc. The only good points were the change of gameplay genre in some worlds and the song ``No more bugs´´.

 

Its not even worthy of be compared with the other ones.

Worst is a strong word....but if I had to choose which game was the most unnessary, I would have to say Recoded. It's one of those elements that doesn't add too much to the story, but doesn't take anything away either.....I mean, I liked playing it, but even if I hadn't, I  dont think I would have missed too much.

Chain of Memories by far, didn't care so much for the gameplay.

 

But I think I'm one of the few that actually loved 358/2 Days because of Roxas xD

I'd say Chi, but I feel like that's cheating.

 

After thinking about it a lot lately, I'd say Days. I loved the idea of getting to play from Roxas' perspective, and seeing more of the Organization. The story definitely had some high points. However, the gameplay got insanely repetitive very quickly, and Xion felt like a useless plot point who could have easily been replaced by something else.

 

Note: I love all of the real KH games (KHI, CoM/Re:CoM, KHII, Days, BBS, Re:Coded, and DDD). There are some that are more flawed than others, obviously. The only one I'd give a perfect score is KHI.

358/2 Days in gameplay since I felt it very repetitive and actually got kind of bored after a while. Storywise Re:Coded since the only thing it added to the whole plot was "You guys better go save those people, kthanks bye"
