Theres no consequence or continuity in it as you play as a Data Sora so ultimately his existence is worthless and has no bearings on any other Kingdom Hearts, plus this game is a retread of both the first game and Chain of Memories, is it really fair to have to do a pale imitation of the original a second time? Even Chain of Memories had its own story that wasn't just a 70 percent rehash.

It doesn't "suck". But I do believe it was the worst KH game in the series for the following reasons:

- the story was "lacking". It didn't have the same feel as the other games and it wasn't nearly as epic.

- the story wasn't all that interesting in the first place

- the story didn't make a whole lot of sense and was just... weird. They flip through the journal and see a sentence that's not supposed to be there and everyone's reaction is "let's upload it into the Matrix"? How could that possibly help (I mean... it does help... but what reason did they have to assume that they could get to the bottom of it that way out of all ways?)? Plus... who really cares what some random sentence means? Maybe Jiminey should be a bit upset that someone had invaded his privacy like that... and maybe a bit paranoid... but there was no reason to go on a full-scale investigation over it to begin with. Stuff shoing up in the journal has happened before as well... the phrase "Thank Namine" appeared, yet they didn't go on some strange side-mission just to find out what that phrase meant. For all they know the message in the journal this time around could have also been written by Jimeny and he could have simply forgotten about it.

- "Data Sora" and "Data Riku" are pointless characters who play no role in the overall story of the series.

- the story serves no real purpose in the overall story of the series other than to lead up to KH3D (but I haven't beaten Re:Coded yet so I could be wrong about this...)

It wasn't really bad I actually kinda liked it except for the story part, but it was a fun game that helped me kill some time runnin around destoying boxes and heartless.

It was okay. It was somewhat repetitive because you went through the same worlds you did in the first game, except not all of them (Where the heck is Halloween Town! ) except guess what! You just get extra hinderance in the form of blox, which really only (to me at least) to have the sole purpose of just annoying you, and nothing else. Still, I say that it's essential to play it because it helps tie the story together. Is it bad? No, but it's not good either.

The game itself isn't too bad, but if you had to choose one game you couldn't but from the series it would be this one. It is the one that is the ultimate definition of filler. But it is still a good game, just gives you a glance into the letter from KH2 at the end (the one from Mickey).

I liked it (killmenow).

I thought the gameplay was fun and refreshing from other games.

I played through it twice and I didn't get bored xD.

It's not the best but still fun to play.

Re:Coded was not the best KH game.

It is simply the worst one, in my opinion.

Which does not make it completely bad.

Pros:

Gameplay

Some Tactics

Command system improved

Graphics improved from Days. (atleast improved)

Sora. (In some peoples eyes, they are a little happy)

Cons:

Graphics (Its a DS game, and it was 10x better graphics than Days)

Major lack of Story

Repetition of worlds from KH:CoM respectively, which had worlds from KH and one or 2 more. (It was like I was playing CoM but with data.)

Ending and Secret Ending is only important, which was obvious.

Lots of Pros and Cons, but if you mainly for Gameplay, then play it, if your just for the main story, I wouldn't recommend you paying $20 for a game which lacks the main story.

It had a story, but which is not greatly effecting the main plot. Also not an great plot as well.

KHBBS > KH1 > KH2 > RE:COM/COM > KH:DAYS > KH:RECODED

Each had their Cons.

KHBBS: Voice acting and Camera.

KH1: I honestly don't know, but I think graphics? I dont think there is anything wrong with it though.

KH2: Gameplay 10x easier (which is boring, imo.)

KHCOM: Card Deck and Larxene

KH:DAYS: Missions, Gameplay and Graphics.

So don't really miss this game for the cons, each game has a con atleast (Maybe not the first game...)

Well, I enjoyed it because it had a similar battle system of BbS. I don't own a PSP so I never got to experience the battles.

Story wise, it was okay.

the game play is awesome but the game is considered bad cuz the story was extremely terible. i love the game play and how you can replay the world's story and becuz it has the command battle system then at least the battle system part has to be good. it isnt good for a long game to play for i 100% completed it in 65 hrs but the game isnt as bad as others make it out to be and i would rent it before i buy it to make sure you like it

It wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst. I don't think I could pick up a Kingdom Hearts game and label it as 'the worst' or 'bad' to be honest. CoM doesn't look amazing, not that I've had a chance to play that yet, but Re:Coded was unique for the series at least.

Actually, in terms of an overall game, Re: Coded is one of the better ones. The most important part of ANY game is how well it plays, and in terms of that, Coded probably still remains unmatched. It keeps the combat of BBS that worked so well, and it adds interesting game element to each world to make it (and this is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to any game sequel) FAMILIAR, BUT DIFFERENT. This is was every sequel should strive to be, and except for the fact that you revisit the similar worlds, from a gameplay perspective, Re: Coded is probably the strongest game in the series.

Problem is, most KH fans don't judge a KH game based on its gameplay. They judge it based majorly on its STORY. I will admit that the story for Coded is pretty weak, but if people look beyond that and focus on how the game actually plays, they will enjoy it more.

Also,

KH1: I honestly don't know, but I think graphics? I dont think there is anything wrong with it though.

The camera was f**king HORRENDOUS.
