What do you dislike about the Kingdom Hearts saga

Recommended Posts

i only have 1 thing i hate.......THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE NOT RELEASED KH3 YET, 3d is a main game, and so was bbs, BUT THE REST OF THE SIDE GAMES, I'M SICK OF IT!

Flame Shield; on

inb4 the "they aren't side games and are important gtfo noob no one wants you here troll gentleman whatever they can think of" comments,

Er... I guess the newer games have been having very bad character development (like BBS for example) But they're still enjoyable.

When the new game is put on a console i would never consider buying then i end up buying it... That and how keyblades are just flat in Days and coded. I also dont like how Lea got his little black marks on his face taken away... Where has the epicness gone....?

I like the KH saga but sometimes..

1. It bothers me when a new title is released on a new consoIe.

2. I hate the Final Mix games because the are only for Japan

3. I dont like the diffence between the localization of Japan and NA/Europe.

I don't think you can blame them for putting them on different systems, it makes it appeal to more audiences

How when you try to talk to your friends about it and you can tell them the gist of it, but they'll be confused, so you'll go into detail and it is so complicated to even describe and you end up confusing them more. Gets REALLY hard when you're trying not to spoil them.

Honestly, I think Kingdom Hearts is one of the few series where I really don't hate much of anything about it. I mean, there are some voices I don't care for, and a few levels that drive me nuts, but there's nothing I well and truly hate about it. I can rally up some hate for a lot of Final Fantasy, but for Kingdom Hearts, there's only inconveniences.

I suppose one of the things that really does bother me is how empty the worlds are, with only a few people milling around here and there. I should like to have a more populated feel to the game.

I know Square Enix oh so sadly is with Disney, so the fights can't be a little more neat and grit. But only thing I dislike is lack of violence, I mean when Xenemas got slashed his cloak could have at least ripped...I wanted blood but that would have been perfect too. And I hate that Sora thinks and believes with all his heart he is god and can fix every problem presented to him...Sorry if I offended anyone.

I hate how when you look through the keyblades in the keyblade graveyard, you see 9,000 keyblades that are the same one. There are literally 5 different keyblades in the Keyblade graveyard.

It would be stupid to deseign like 9000 keyblades for a single cutscene, especially when few people would actually look that hard. And who knows, maybe back then they weren't special enough to have different keyblades. lol.

SO...what I hate most about the series is definately the different systems. I finally got a psp (which was kind of a dumb idea) just to play BBS, and now my heart screams for DDD on the 3DS. And I'm not exactly an intense gamer either.

2) BBS had bad character/plot development, but I can see why that happened.

3) That very little about each game is actually confirmed or discussed in-game; half the time, things just randomly happen, and we rely on the ultimanias to get any information about the hows and whys. Also, the series tends to get random in the story and how they end up resolving some things (If we destroy Ansem, everythign will be magically turned to normal! Ooh, I built a heart decoder to destroy the fake kingdom hearts! Ooh, we forged a X-yblade but immediately broke it!) And also, little details they magically add so that they can make a convuluted storyline out of it (Kairi's keyblade)

4) Unnecessary plot details, ie the opening of KH2 was a little silly to be so long playing as Roxas without really learning much about him or him playing much more of a role in the story. DiZ also seemed strange, and teh whole Ansem identity thing seems pointless so far, though there may be a reason for it.

5) Trying to explain Kingdom Hearts to people. I mean, where do you even begin? Even starting at the first game makes a lot of complicated plot mechanics to explain (ie worlds, heartless) and plus people look down on the fact that it's disney. But they do find it funny that you bludgeon people with a giant key (It's more like a club than a blade...)

1. The camera of Kingdom Hearts 1

2. The lack of difficulty of Kingdom Hearts 2.

3. The repetitiveness of 358/2 Days.

4. The uselessness of Coded.

5. The Final Mixes containing canonical story content, yet only being released in Japan.

6. Disney North America having a pole up their asses and trying to censor every little thing.

7. The series has spanned 5 different consoles, and is always an exclusive title.

8. Relies way too heavily on past knowledge of the series while not taking the time to explain things to newer players.

9. The plot has become extremely convoluted after Days.

10. Too many Sora clones.

11. Whenever we get a character that might actually be interesting, they get killed off (only real exception is Riku).

Okay... I have a problem with almost everything here... First of all... its not necessary to create 9,000 keyblades. They could make 30 different keyblades and black the rest out. Even if the keyblades were ugly/broken/halfway in the dirt/Stupid looking. It would just be creative for squeenix to have different keyblades, so before you start flamin on me, think about what YOU would also prefer, dude.

ALSO i will respond to each of your numbered answers to what annoys you. I dont agree with these...

1)I agree.

2)BBS did NOT have a bad plot development. FIRST OF ALL, we dont even know much about the characters, because they wanted things to happen in BBS the way that they did. We will probably get introduced to T,V, and A even more in future games. So DONT insult my ven, aqua, and terra.

3) First of all, of course they destroy ansem, everything WILL be restored to normal until the next threat comes into being. Ansem is the reason that all the (emblem) heartless roam the worlds and take hearts. Don't believe me? Go look it up. Ansem created the emblem heartless to collect hearts. Second of all, a fake kingdom hearts would be bad, so of course you would want to destroy it... Uh... Duh..? And third of all, Destroying the X-blade so quick? Well if they didnt, then the whole world would have fell apart and we wouldnt be playing kingdom hearts because vanitas would have killed aqua and eventually destroyed like all of the worlds and another keyblade war would be waged... so....

4)Well, i kinda agreed, everyone was left in the dark as to who the hell roxas was. But that is explained in Days, so i dont know why you're annoyed at that now..? and if you're even remotely good at gaming, you'd figure out that the mini-roxas campaign wasnt even that long... Takes AT MOST 1-1 & 1/2 hours to finish it... Yeah, the whole diz thing was weird, but xemnas would probably kill him if he found him. Which also doesnt make sense, because he was in hiding.

5)I agree.. haha

I really don't hate anything about the series, but I strongly dislike how there are over 150 Disney characters, but barely 20 FF characters. I'm not even that big of a FF fan, but I hate how the characters are starting to feel like little temporary add-ons to the universe instead of actually apart of it. It just feels really unbalanced. How about a FF heavy world thats not Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden or Olympus Colliseum. The story can get confusing at times, but I just try to keep my thoughts clear to avoid confusion, and explain things really slowly to friends.

I really do hate how the Final Mix versions are Japan-only releases, but what I hate more is how people are all like "KH3 needs to hurry up and come out". We've established there's a gap between 2 and 3, but you could really be happy with the titles being released between, that are equally important.
