WakingDawn96 1,166 Posted February 26, 2012 Okay most of us have seen the new fusions of Kyurem with Zekrom and Reshiram : If you look at it you can see that they are ice/thunder and ice/fire types, but I thought that they were all dragon types too. My thinking about this is that these pokemon have three types which are ice/thunder/dragon and ice/fire/dragon. What do guys think about this? It would so be cool to have a three type pokemon for once in the games.
Shana09 5,769 Posted February 26, 2012 I guess, I thought it would be possible for it. We would never know for sure. I think it would be Electric/Ice and Fire/Ice.
Truthbringer 210 Posted February 26, 2012 I truly doubt it. Mainly because of kyurem's 2 signature moves that, even thought they are named "Cold Flare" and "Freeze Bolt", still are ice type moves. I think these are just "forms" of kyurem retaining its typings, like the origin forme of giratina, that are unique to their respective games. And even if they had 3 types it would mean it had like 0 weaknesses and 3 stab moves, making it banned for eternity from any and all wifi uses, lol. 2 Shana09 and Space Cowboy reacted to this

Well if we say the reshiram/kyurem thingy had the types dragon/fire/ice and it had dragon pulse, flamethrower and ice beam as its moves. those moves would get an 50% bonus in power due to them being the same type as the pokemon, giving the pokemon 3 moves with 140+ power, 100% accuracy and no setbacks whatsoever. OP no?

Truthbringer 210 Posted February 26, 2012 No main legendary pokemon was ever used in Wifi. There is a "Uber" league where people mainly use Legendaries. But a 3 type legendary would most likely not even be allowed there.

Da.firetruck? =_= who invented that? I hate ubers u_u they are just lazy trainors who just used high leveled strong legendary pokemon. 1 Truthbringer reacted to this

Spectrum of Life 188 Posted February 26, 2012 3-Type pokemon would be impossible without significantly changing the data structure for all pokemon (which would make backwards compatibility a cluster.) They'll probably just retain Kyurem's typing or make a pair of new type combinations. I hope for the latter.
Shana09 5,769 Posted February 26, 2012 Lightning is a form of fire as well. You know when it strucks a roof it gets on fire? Yeah I think if they ever combined into 3, they will be Electric/Ice. Red lightning.
RoxaSoraXIII 40 Posted February 26, 2012 Well...I think they'll be Ice/Fire and Ice/Electric with an ability that gives Dragon type moves STAB
Weedanort 8,786 Posted February 26, 2012 I'd prefer if Kyurem's new forms would maintain their original typing, like Giratina. If White Kyurem was Fire/Ice, that would give a 4x weakenss to Rock, also 2x weakness to Fighting and such. And if Black Kyurem was Ice/Electric, it would have a 4x weakness to Ground. If they maintain their original typing, it would be better, cause Ice/Fire and Ice/Electric would be a bad typing, like Bug/Grass.

Ground is weak against Ice http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/happy.png The Ice type would give a nive coverage to the Electric type But the Ice/Fire combination would be completely destroyed by Rock types...
