Space Cowboy 1,392 Posted February 27, 2012 If Nintendo follows tradition, this means RSE remakes next year and Gen VI in 2014-15. I think that discounts the idea that this game will take place in Hoenn. 1 P50L reacted to this

FireRubies1 1,325 Posted March 1, 2012 I think not using the pattern of a deluxe version was cool.... but I didn't like Black and White anyway... so pass
Zenithia 305 Posted March 8, 2012 tutti frutti. Either way the 3DS is backwards compatible, so for those that have a 3DS and are getting the sequel to Black/White have nothing to worry about. Storywise, I thought Black/White were pretty good. The story had more depth on it over just beating whoever the team enemy was, and went so far as to include some more major characters, instead of just the professor, rival and Team(whoever at the time). One of the things that I have been hoping to get is that the developers would put all of the regions from all 5 generations into one game and allowing us to choose which region we would like to start from. If they can do this with the remakes of Gold/Silver, while still retaining two regions in one game, why not attempt all 5 in one game?

I think people complaining about this not being on 3Ds is because Black and White introduced 3D and we have even have 3D technology available

Tsunamo 62 Posted March 13, 2012 I dunno why people are being so negative about Black and White 2, they're doing something new, and a whole lot better than just a third version with a little bit more of content and a couple of story modifications, they're making completely new games with completely new plots, the only similar thing will probably be the region and Pokemon, it gives you more bang for your buck. And the DS platform choice is a good one, they're not alienating all the DS users, while 3DS users can still play and enjoy the games on it anyway because it's backwards compatible. Because of the massive amounts of development time and effort that would take. I'd imagine it would take out a fair amount of space out of the cartridge aswell.
